The space
Emerson P. Knight built this magnificent Italianate mansion in 1882. The rich, ornate style of the Lafayette Loeb House will make you into a curious time traveler, marveling at the period wallpaper, wainscoting, and beautiful wood floors.

This mansion turned inn features 6 bedrooms, each with its own private bath and is decorated with hand curated antiques.

- The Frank C. Arganbright Genealogy Center
Home to the Alameda McCollough Research Library, the Richard B. Wetherill Archives, and the TCHA Administrative offices and collections storage, the name of the center is in honor of a generous supporter who worked at the Journal and Courier and the Purdue Office of Public Information.
- The Art Museum of Greater Lafayette
This museum was founded in 1909 during a time of a “general awakening of art interests all over (the) country and state.” This museum’s mission is to share the ability of art to inspire and spur personal and communal growth through art collections, exhibits, and cultural events.

I’ve even won awards for my efforts to preserve and improve our community including the “Silk Purse” award from the Wabash Valley Trust for Historic Preservation and the “Spirit of the Hill” award from the Historic Ninth Street Hill Neighborhood Association in recognition of contributions to the betterment of downtown Lafayette neighborhoods.
