A space also dedicated to people with disabilities, easily accessible thanks to the positioning of the access ramp to the door of the building and the stair lift that reaches the door of the apartment.
There are two parking spaces for the disabled 30 meters from the entrance gate, ACCESS TO THE COURTYARD ONLY FOR LOADING AND UNLOADING SUITCASES BUT WITHOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF PARKING YOUR VEHICLE.

The space
All the rooms of the house are spacious and can be accessed comfortably even with a wheelchair. There is a comfortable entrance with a coat rack, a kitchen with all the necessary equipment for cooking (equipped with a fridge with freezer, microwave, coffee machine, blender, toaster, juicer, pots and dishes) and a large living room with an electric lift chair, double sofa bed, TV, Wi-Fi and a large terrace (overlooking the internal garden) where there are chairs, a coffee table and a table where you can also have lunch.
The bedroom is also spacious, with a double bed and a terrace overlooking the inner courtyard; in addition, the bathroom is fully accessible for mobility impairments: the shower area is completely open for direct access with a wheelchair or shower chair and the floor is non-slip.
Pat's House is also equipped with other equipment such as a walker, crutches and self-propelled trolleys for the placement of machinery and/or medicines.

Guest access
Guests can access all the rooms of the house. USE OF THE INTERNAL PARKING IS ONLY POSSIBLE FOR LOADING AND UNLOADING SUITCASES BUT IT IS NOT ALLOWED TO STAY WITH YOUR OWN VEHICLE IN THE COURTYARD. THERE ARE MANY FREE PARKING SPACES IN THE AREA NEAR THE HOUSE.
As for the courtyard, the general condominium rules must be respected and noise avoided from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

It was gradually adapted to the needs related to her illness and the desire to offer people with disabilities a space free of architectural barriers where they can spend days in harmony and serenity, to visit our beautiful city, in the company of their families.
It is also seen as a long-term home when people find themselves having to stay in Bergamo for special care or close visits to health facilities in the area.
