The space
Set in a four-story boutique condominium of just 15 units, the one bedroom lock-off sits on the lower level of the Imagine Tulum duplex — bright and open, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors that slide to two private terraces. Natural light moves through all day and a steady cross breeze keeps the place cool. Air conditioning and ceiling fans in both rooms keep it comfortable when you need them.
• Bedroom Terrace: Opens onto the building's quiet, planted zen garden — a different perspective from the jungle above.
• Living Room Terrace: Good for morning coffee or a drink before dinner.
• Rooftop Infinity Pool: One clear view over the jungle canopy, open to the sky. Shared with the rest of the building, but often yours alone. The feature guests mention long after they leave.
Inside the Suite
• Full Kitchen: Four-burner stove, full-size oven, large refrigerator, microwave, filtered drinking water. What sets this suite apart from most rentals in the area.
• Dining Table for Six: Room to cook a proper meal and spread out — whether that's a feast for two or a workday across multiple laptops.
• King Bed: Premium mattress selected by the owner, a physical therapist, for firm support and just the right amount of padding. This is a place to live in, not just pass through.
• Fiber optic internet, in-unit safe, and ample storage for extended stays.

The Neighborhood
The Aldea Zama Difference
Aldea Zama sits between the beach and town — close enough to reach either in minutes, far enough from the noise of both. The beach road draws the evening crowds and prices everything for tourists; the jungle neighborhoods west of town have charm but unpaved roads and limited lighting. Aldea Zama, on the other hand, is the only neighborhood in Tulum with underground utilities and a municipal sewage treatment system — a practical difference guests notice. Paved streets, ample parking, modern infrastructure — and a small commercial strip of cafes, bars, boutiques, and fitness centers built around residents, not tourists.
Tulum draws a different traveler now. Fewer people chasing the moment, more people who came for the thing itself. Aldea Zama uncomplicates the rest.

Other things to note
• Like all properties in Tulum, the plumbing isn't designed for toilet paper — please use the bin in the bathroom. One is provided.
• The beach is about a mile away — a 5-minute scooter ride or quick taxi. Walk-in and bicycle access is free.
• Sargasso seaweed arrives seasonally — typically late March through September — and can affect beach conditions. Tulum's cenotes are at their best this time of year.
• The building runs solar panels that feed back into the grid — a small offset to Tulum's strained infrastructure.
• Active construction in the neighborhood — daytime noise is possible
• Regional power outages occasionally occur throughout Tulum
