Guesthouse Sora is located in the Kunuki district of Yoshino Town. This is a region with a long history, which also appears in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki.Kunisuki, a village of craftsmanship, is also known as a production area for handmade washi paper and chopsticks made from Yoshino cedar and Yoshino cypress.
Jomiharajinja Shrine, which is within walking distance of the guest house, is a quiet shrine nestled in the mountains overlooking the beautiful Yoshino River's blue "Tenno Fuchi", and is recommended for a walk the morning after your stay.
Located right in the middle of the Kii Peninsula, this place is close to neighboring Higashiyoshino Village, as well as Kawakami Village and Kamikitayama Village, and is about an hour and 15 minutes by car from Odaigahara.
While swimming in the river is recommended in the summer, it is also a great idea to head to the waterfall basins, such as the Tombo Falls and the Fudo Seven Falls! In addition, Mt. Takami, known for its winter rime, is about a 30-minute drive to the trailhead.
Unfortunately there are few grocery stores and restaurants nearby. You can rest assured that you can buy something to eat before you come. There is a full kitchen, so I think you can enjoy cooking.
Sakura's room has a lock, but the hallway only has a sliding door.

The space
All the rooms in the house are Japanese-style rooms, and there are 4 of them. Sakura no Ma is a separate west-facing room with a single bed, located next to the stairs on the second floor.
On the second floor, there is another 8-tatami private room and a 6-tatami room with a large living room.

The toilet and bathroom are only on the first floor (shared), so I recommend a room on the first floor for those with bad legs. There are many steps in the building and it is not barrier free. Please understand.

During your stay
If you have any requests, such as information on Yoshino alcohol, restaurants, or people you want to meet in Yoshino, we will always be happy to help! Please let me know.

Other things to note
There are almost no shops where you can buy groceries, etc., or restaurants nearby, including convenience stores. Please come after stocking up.
