Guesthouse Sora is located in the Kunuki district of Yoshino Town. This is a region with a long history, which also appears in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki.Kunisuki, a village of craftsmanship, is also known as a production area for handmade washi paper and chopsticks made from Yoshino cedar and Yoshino cypress.
Jomiharajinja Shrine, which is within walking distance of the guest house, is a quiet shrine nestled in the mountains overlooking the beautiful Yoshino River's blue "Tenno Fuchi", and is recommended for a walk the morning after your stay.
Located right in the middle of the Kii Peninsula, this place is close to neighboring Higashiyoshino Village, as well as Kawakami Village and Kamikitayama Village, and is about an hour and 15 minutes by car from Odaigahara.
While swimming in the river is recommended in the summer, it is also a great idea to head to the waterfall basins, such as the Tombo Falls and the Fudo Seven Falls! In addition, Mt. Takami, known for its winter rime, is about a 30-minute drive to the trailhead.
Unfortunately there are few grocery stores and restaurants nearby. You can rest assured that you can buy something to eat before you come. There is a full kitchen, so I think you can enjoy cooking.
There is a glass sliding door between the room and the hallway, and there is no key. Please note that light and sound will enter the hallway.

The space
There are 4 Japanese-style rooms in the building.During the crescent, you can use the 2 6 tatami rooms on the 2nd floor for 1 to 5 people.
There are other private rooms of 6 tatami mats and 8 tatami mats on the 2nd floor.

The toilets and bathrooms are on the first floor only (shared), so we recommend the rooms on the first floor for those with bad feet. There are many steps in the facility and it is not barrier-free.Please understand.

Guest access
Parking for 4 cars is available in an uncovered space next to the east side of the building. Please let us know in advance if you have a large number of cars.

During your stay
If you have any requests, such as information on Yoshino alcohol, restaurants, or people you want to meet in Yoshino, we will always be happy to help! Please let me know.

Other things to note
There are hardly any shops nearby where you can buy groceries and meals, including convenience stores. Please come to the procurement in advance.
