Best family getaway in big bear !!
The space
My family absolutely loves this getaway whether for a couple days in the woods or a week full of adventures. We are located on Main Street. From the street and outdoor patio you have a great view of the lake and of course the beautiful woods all around. 🌲 🦌 🐻
Our cabin is situated at the dead end of the street so we have tons of parking.(unless it is snow season, roads can only be plowed when not blocked)
The cabin entrance is after you enter the indoor patio that we have tons of games for your entertainment! When you enter the front door, you enter the main level. You have the front room with kitchen and two bedrooms and two bathrooms on main level. The stairway to downstairs is also off the the front room. The master has its own half bath with super comfy cal king bed. The second room has two cozy queen beds (we call it the tinker bell room) The main bath (Frozen bath) has a tub/shower and stocked for adults and kids shampoo And toiletries.
Downstairs you enter the large family room with oversized down filled sofa sleeper and 55” smart tv. We have a foosball table, dart board, pirates pinball machine and Wreck it Ralph arcade machine for endless fun. wrech it Ralph is a quarter operated so bring some quarters! The lower lever also has an open but covered patio. The third bedroom Is s family suite with twin bunk beds, a queen bed with private attached full bathroom. This room is the coolest out of the bedrooms so best choice in warmers months and requires more layers during winter months! We also have a laundry room downstairs that is the first door at the end of the staircase.
Please bring your own firewood and clean up ashes before you go. We keep marshmallow sticks hanging right by the fireplace for s’mores!
We have wood burning fireplace upstairs. Electric fireplace downstairs and forced heat throughout controlled by the nest thermostat. In winter months the heat is set to 60* with ability to increase up to 70. Upstairs always stays warmer than downstairs.

Other things to note
Please remove all trash from cabin when checking out. $45 fee for trash removal and or ash removal.
To help keep our cabin affordable we charge $150 for turn over service by local cleaning company. That includes laundering sheets, towels and blankets. It includes cleaning/wipe down and santatize floors, bathrooms and kitchen.
This doesn’t cover deep cleaning, dishes, carpet cleaning or anything else.please keep the cabin clean to avoid addition fees up to $400 for deep cleaning of the cabin.
We love this place and want to keep it nice for our family and future guests ;-)
Late check outs or early check ins are available for $30 an hour up to 3 hours or half day prices and must be pre approved for cleaning scheduling purposes and confirmed availability.
No smoking or Pets allowed. Our family has children that are very allergic so we can not even host service animals at this time. there will be a $500 fee for any guests who break this rule for cleaning as well as immediate cancellation without refunds.
We do not allow any guests that are not included in your reservation. Please make sure you have the proper total before check in. Any unauthorized guests will be $100 per person per night or could also lead to cancellation withour refunds. We have to stay accurate for our vacation permit. Our permit allows 6 adults and we can sleep comfortably in beds 4 kids (children under two years of age) . Please ask questions if you have any.
big bear lake has very strict NO party or noise regulations. they are fining guests directly if music or loud talking can be heard outside at anytime. please plan to respect the forest and neighbors.
WINTER GUESTS:
Snow season is October through April. San Bernardino county requires all vehicles to carry chains.
Driveways, roads and drive thrus can have ice at anytime in winter months so please pay attention and do not park or drive a vehicle not equip for snow. If you get stuck and block our driveway there can be fines charged and late check out fees. Winter is the busiest season and we can't afford to accomadate these delays.
