The space
Welcome to my home, Casa Katarsis! It's a playfully designed penthouse studio in the heart of Jätkäsaari, just moments from the sea and a short tramride from central Helsinki. Grocery stores are within walking distance, and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.
Located on the top floor, this bright 42 m² studio offers a rare sense of space and privacy, with two balconies on opposite sides of the apartment for both morning sun and early evening atmosphere.
The interior combines playful dopamine decor with typical Finnish design.
The fully equipped kitchen makes longer stays effortless, whether you're preparing breakfast before exploring the city or enjoying a relaxed evening in. Amenities include a dishwasher, oven, microwave, air fryer, SodaStream, and toaster.
The bathroom has a calm, spa-like feel and includes a washing machine for added convenience during your stay.
The location offers the best of both worlds: a peaceful neighborhood by the ocean while still being only a few tram stops from the city centre (or a scenic 25-minute walk). A city bike station is less than 100 metres away. Ferries to Tallinn are also just 10 minutes away on foot.
The bed is 140 cm wide, and there are colorful LED lights by the bed to create your preferred evening mood.
For guests combining travel with work, the apartment includes an adjustable desk setup with a large monitor, as well as fast and free Wi-Fi.
Please note that the apartment is located in a residential building, and quiet hours are between 22:00 and 07:00.
