Also reachable on foot from the funicular or from the station (taking the funicular to go up to Orvieto, then on foot or by bus line CC). Perfect location two hours by train from Florence and an hour by train from Rome. Just outside to the right, you'll find a beautiful view of the neighborhood.
In the same neighborhood there are also interesting churches including San Giovenale, the oldest in the city, (with beautiful frescoes from the 1400s inside), the ancient Porta Maggiore and finally, at Porta Vivaria, a panoramic path that allows you to walk to the archaeological site of the Etruscan necropolis of the Crocifisso del Tufo.
