The space
Looking for a fun Cape Cod rental? This is the perfect couples beachy retreat or BFF getaway & spacious enough for small family groups. Situated in a quiet waterfront neighborhood & less than a quarter mile from the Dennis town landing, a conservation area & the neighborhood beach—A quick 5 minute stroll will bring you to each! Easily launch the provided kayaks or your own paddle boards or boat. The Bayside Retreat is a single level Cape style home that’s bright yet still a secluded hideaway. Featuring:

→ A thoughtfully stocked & sunny eat-in kitchen: Ceiling fan, high ceilings, skylight & large bay window welcome an abundance of light. A blue stone dining table with 6 chairs & 3 counter stools; fully stocked coffee station with a Breville® bean-grinding coffee maker, tea, sugar, stevia, sweet n low, creamer, syrups & varying extras provided. Equipped with: Dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, water dispensing/ ice-making refrigerator, Ninja® blender, pots (lobster pot), pans, baking sheets, plates, mixing bowls, cutting boards, glassware, serving ware, dishes, measuring cups, silverware, strainer & kitchen tools. Kitchen door opens to back deck for easy grill to kitchen access.
→ Mostly hardwood flooring throughout: Two bedrooms each with their own closet, bureaus, luggage racks, hampers & air purifiers. Primary bedroom has a queen bed, table lamp & 43” ROKU TV with DIRECTTV Ultimate package & app streaming (including Netflix, Prime, Disney + & Apple TV). The other, full size mattresses in the bunk bed, a fun table side colored light & dimmable ceiling light; also a box of toys.
→ Bathroom: A bathtub, shower with adjustable flow shower head, first aid kit, ventilation fan & window; Starter toiletries, linens & cleaning supplies provided.
→ The Living room welcomes lots of light from the skylight & cathedral ceiling while still cozy with the gas fireplace, comfy oversized sectional, warm lighting & a 55” 4K Sony Google TV with app streaming & DIRECTTV Ultimate Package. There’s a picture window, ceiling fan & sleeper sofa by the slider that leads to the back deck. The bureau has spare linens, cards & games suitable for all ages (some not so much).
→ Backyard: Fully fenced with a large deck, lots of foliage, outdoor shower (seasonal April 10- October 30) & year-round Jacuzzi brand HOT TUB with mood lighting! There's outdoor sofa seating for 5+ on the patio & 4 on the deck, a grill & grill table for your use. (some outdoor furniture seasonal from April 10- November 27). Grill & propane available year round! Grill requires match lighting (long matches provided in kitchen drawer labeled). In the shed, there's outdoor games, Igloo 30 Quart Roller Cooler, beach toys & chairs & two kayaks to make your trip great!

✦ The cottage is private, in a great location, clean & always updated & decorated. It’s perfect for a quiet getaway or a great home base for adventures & exploring! Dennis is home to many great restaurants including the 5 star Ocean House and Pelham house restaurants. The Oyster Company is a local favorite. Trails, fishing, golfing, hiking, biking, beach combing, swimming & many other activities/ attractions close by! Popular beaches are moments away– 10 minutes from Mayflower Beach with dozens of beaches nearby! A few minutes to Dennis Highlands Golf & Bass River Golf Course is less than 10 minutes away. Johnny Kelley Recreation Area Gold winner, ‘Best of Cape Cod’ for park & nature area is just .8 miles away offering basketball & tennis courts, playground, trails & exercise areas. First Crush Winery in Harwich offers tastings, cheese platters, wine slushies & more & is less than 15 minutes away. The Bayside Retreat is 20 minutes to downtown Hyannis & the Ferries to Martha’s Vineyard; 45 minutes to Truro Vineyards & lots in between. The Cape has much to offer!
* Cape Cod has typical pests such as ants & spiders. We do our best to keep the cottage free of pests by using safe products indoor & out, occasionally they find their way in.
**Guests are required to inform us within 12 hours of concerns such as cleanliness, pests, appliances, hot tub issues or any complaints so we can swiftly resolve.
***Monthly Discount: APPLIES TO ALL MONTHS OTHER THAN JULY & AUGUST. Unfortunately we don’t have an option to edit this on the platform & we apologize for the inconvenience. The weekly discount applies any time of the year!

The whole house is yours & we utilize contactless check-in for your convenience.
There's a washer & dryer in the basement that is accessible from outside, under the back deck. Front of the home has a 24/7 recording audio/video Blink doorbell cam/ security camera; views the driveway, front yard & front deck only.
Other things to note
Hot tub is open year-round! The outdoor shower & hose are shut down from October 31- April 10.
Trash pickup is Wednesday & they may come anytime between 6 AM & 4:30 PM. If you do not want them approaching the home where the barrels are located, you may bring them to the end of the driveway.
Playing nighttime yard games or just needing more light in the backyard? The switch for the shed’s flood light is inside the shed. Also, Feel free to bring the cushions into the shed if you want to keep them dry, if not they dry quickly!
Between bookings, we do have a dog in the home on rare occasion. If you have severe allergies, you may want to reconsider booking or depending on circumstances, perhaps a deep cleaning could be organized on your behalf.
