In the heart of Port Fairy, nestled into the safe haven of the Moyne River, resides the old mill re-imagined into a place to retreat, reconnect and reenergise. Make memories here with the ones you love.

The space
Built as a flour mill in 1860, this bluestone building has been converted into a unique and cosy riverside escape. The perfect space to retreat and reconnect with loved ones, with nature and with yourself.

Spend your days here exploring history, nature and the beautiful town of Port Fairy. We love to leave our car keys on the hook and spend our time walking Port Fairy, riding the rail trail, swimming the beaches, sailing the river or hiking Tower Hill Nature Park and Griffiths Island. But we also look forward to just being still and finding comfort in one of our spaces with a coffee or wine to read or watch the world go by.

The townhouse has been cleverly converted to provide room for up to four guests, with the comforts of home, but is also perfect for couples looking for space and privacy in a magical setting, where history can be felt throughout.

The spacious interior consists of open plan living/dining with a well appointed kitchen and separate toilet/laundry all on the lower level. On the next levels you will find the king bedroom featuring stunning exposed bluestone and brick walls and within close proximity of the main bathroom. The Mariner's loft on the top floor provides a queen bed, ensuite and expansive living room with sweeping views north and south along the river - the perfect romantic escape for couples looking for time out.

Our bedding is a king and a queen bed.

LIVING AREAS:
Open plan kitchen/dining area with stunning blue stone walls and sun-filled living area with French doors opening to a private courtyard area overlooking the wharf and King George Square.

KITCHEN:
The open plan galley kitchen is fully appointed with electric stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine.

HEATING & COOLING:
To keep you cosy and warm in winter, we have heating in the bedrooms, living and dining areas. There are ceiling fans in both bedrooms to help circulate the air and keep you cool in Summer.

BATHROOMS:
Main bathroom with bath, shower and toilet, Second bathroom - ensuite to the Mariner's loft with shower and toilet. Fully equipped laundry with third toilet on ground floor.

GARAGE: The single garage has rear access to the house. Car parking is also readily available out the front of the townhouse and in King George Square.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire townhouse, with all amenities included.

Other things to note
As the house has five levels, with bedrooms on the upper levels, it is not suitable for those with mobility ssues.

My husband and I grew up in Warrnambool, Australia and love returning to our home town and surrounds with our kids. Port Fairy has been a natural holiday destination for us where we can relax and visit family and friends. We are excited to own a piece of history in the former mill and share it with others. We love to travel both in Australia and abroad and during our time living in Singapore travelled extensively in South East Asia and Europe. We hope to bring our knowledge and experience to make your holiday a great one too.
