We loved our stay at A Peaceful Place! The cabin was perfect, clean and just like the pictures, and the hot tub was amazing after exploring and enjoying all that eastern Tennessee has to offer. The bed was so comfortable that we slept in late every day of our visit. We definitely plan to stay here again!

Wow! What a beautiful home and property! We spent the weekend catching up with friends, cooking delicious meals in the well-stocked kitchen, and relaxing in the hot tub. It was the perfect place to unplug and unwind. It was the most “homey” of any Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! I was especially impressed by how clean everything was and how thoughtfully stocked the space was. From the variety of kitchen supplies to a pour-over coffee setup, and even extra towels for the hot tub, we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Holly was hands-down the most proactive and responsive host I’ve ever encountered, making the experience seamless from booking to checkout. I only wish we could have stayed longer! I’m already dreaming about when we’ll return. Thank you, Holly, for sharing such a beautiful home and experience!

As a first time off-grid experience, I can’t say enough great things about this cabin! My husband and I were a little anxious but as soon as we arrived, all of those worries melted away. The location is easy to find with their detailed instructions and so secluded that you won’t hear any sounds except nature. We often checked the solar battery to be sure we weren’t overusing energy and ran the generator so at night as instructed (which was very simple). We used the most water washing dishes due to cooking each night but never ran out of water during our stay. We enjoyed exploring the property and relaxing on the back porch the most. It’s the perfect getaway to unplug and spend quality time! Side note: the WiFi did not work during our stay, but the host was quick to respond and inform us they contacted the service provider (even though they were on vacation). We had cell service while in the cabin and this didn’t affect our experience at all since the goal was to enjoy our surroundings

Wonderful lodging well worth the price! Beautiful setting by the pond, beautifully decorated and very clean, with plenty of towels, very comfortable beds, great sitting area, stocked kitchen, and even freshly baked muffins on our arrival! Eva checked in with us by message a couple of times and was quickly responsive. Perfect for the four of us ladies visiting relatives, with room to spread out a little. Couldn't ask for more!

We loved taking our toddler down to the river and taking in the view from the deck. The home was spacious, clean, and offered everything we needed.

Stayed as a family four, two year old and five year old, and found the house to be the perfect size for our family. All listed amenities were available and since we booked the property was updated to now include a beautiful new deck in the back of the house with a grill and traeger smoker. Both kids greatly enjoyed the playset and the fenced in yard gave us peace of mind with the kids running around. Would recommend staying here and Michael is a great host who is responsive to messages and provides clear check in/check out instructions.

We had an amazing time. The house was is very clean and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities provided were excellent. Rhonda was very communicative and ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It's quiet and very relaxing. Can't wait to go back!

Super awesome place, private and out of the way, yet only 20 min or so from a Walmart etc. beautiful home, great for family vacation! Right on the lake, sadly the weather wasn’t up to par so we didn’t get to enjoy the lake part too much. We enjoyed our experience! There were a few minor things like no lock on one restroom, locks on lower bathroom didn’t work, and door was missing for lower shower lol. Make sure your with people you know, it didn’t bother us, we let Alex know and I’m sure he’ll have those thing fixed for the next guest! This is DEFINITELY WORTH IT!! Our stay was magical. We will book again! From a practical standpoint- the cabin had everything we needed to cook (in gorgeous and sparkly purple cookware), was warm and cozy (with explicit notes on how to make sure we stayed that way through the cold snap during our visit), was isolated without cell service (which we wanted all along and a big reason why we booked the cabin), the satellite wi-fi worked great and there was a great collection of DVDs just in case it didn’t, and the yard was fantastic, pretty, and if it hadn’t been raining we would have built campfires. The humor of the cabin’s hangings was also very much appreciated! The only challenging part was how quickly the water heater went past its capacity, though this was clearly explained in the Cabin Guidelines, along with tips on how to make sure you have enough hot water to enjoy a bath in the claw-foot tub. Another tip to prevent running out of hot water is to turn off the water while you sudz up!
