Weesp is charming, clean, and safe - just walking around the streets is a pleasure. Book this place if you like somewhere that’s a bit novel, a mini adventure. It’s so much more fun than staying in an ordinary room. Don’t book it if you want modern comforts such as hot water and clothes hanging space. It’s a boat! Also don’t book if you have mobility or balance issues. I stayed two nights and I would recommend. Host is warm and friendly. Dog is fluffy and chill.

What a lovely experience at Windbruid with Captain Sandra at the helm. We had planned a weekend in Amsterdam, but with 3 nights and 1 day sailing ahead of this. We were 5 couples and all had a great experience, including those who didn't quite love sailing. But we got much wiser on the beautiful old sailing ship, and on how the boat behaves on the water, as well as the sail and its features. Gasten Michael was really skilled at explaining knobs, and he and Sandra provided an unforgettable delightful experience. The rest of the time we were tourists in Amsterdam, but it was definitely the boat ride, which made the biggest impression. Thanks so much for a really nice experience

Can highly recommend staying here. So nice to return to after a busy day sightseeing in Amsterdam. Near bus stop, 10 mins walk away, takes you straight to Amsterdam Central station. Get off at bus stop before station if you do not need metro, we walked everywhere. We used credit card each for bus, swipe on and then swipe as you get off, about 7 euro return. The Johanna is just a joy to be on, comfortable and clean with stunning views. Everything that you need and more is supplied. Sandra and her partner are a joy to deal with, checking in with us to ensure all was ok.

We had a great time staying on Marcel’s boat! It was outside of the city center, but not too far to make daily trips in to be able to see everything. Thanks for hosting us!

Nice host, nice space. Bedrooms are of course small. Beds are good. No dishwasher. We didn't mind but good to know. Beautiful berth.

We loved this unique stay, the ship and all its amenities were perfect for families. We all had a great time and ship ticked all the boxes. There was enough space to spend some time with our family stayed at a hotel walk distance in the charming town Wijk bij Duurstede. We highly recommend this stay if your after ‘something different and fun’.

We had a lovely stay and intensely enjoyed the boat. Everything was provided and the boat is fantastically equipped. We did miss some (extra) blackout on the boat, because without curtains it was very quickly light in the morning. ;-)

Atypical place and perfect for large groups. Responsive host on site if needed. Convenient location, not far from Amsterdam. I would highly recommend it!

We were a group of 9 friends and we were very comfortable. Very practical and authentic to the place. We recommend the experience. We had a problem with the heating at first but Renco took care of it and everything was perfect. Thank you very much for everything

This was quite luxury! 2 older couples travelling together and it was perfect! The host is an amazing human being, the boat is moored with phenomenal views and it is so quiet. We truly couldn’t have asked for anything better. All four of us highly recommend this location.
