New Stunning jungle view & pool

DanielRating, 5 stars4 days ago
‘The name says it all’ This Airbnb is the absolute most amazing one I have ever stayed at. Of course we were excited to stay here when we booked but on arrival (make sure you don’t mistake it for In Heaven like we did) it was so much more than we could have imagined! The Susan and her team were so helpful from months before right to check out and the property is stunning. It’s like walking into your own haven and each step is more breathtaking than the last! Unfortunately we were experiencing the not so popular side of Bali (Bali belly) while here so we couldn’t try the menu but if there’s any place I’d want to be stuck it’s definitely here! The only thing I would say is there was works happening close by so a lot of two stroke power tools operating but it’s just timing and didn’t bother us. Amazing views Amazing room Amazing private pool Indoor pond Fast internet Do yourself a favour and book the rest of your holiday around this one’s availability, it truely is an experience.

PROMO! Pool Villa Escape in Ubud 2 Br

NancyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We absolutely loved this tranquil and private sanctuary. The location was superb .. within a minute or 2 from great local cafes and restaurants. Kadek communicated very clearly with me throughout my stay and managed the villa very professionally. He went beyond the call of duty by taking our luggage to our next Airbnb in the vicinity..so we could head off into town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This villa has a great location to explore Ubud by foot! The villa is even better than the photographs. We loved our stay here and didn’t want to leave. The pool was great. The breakfast provided was amazing too! As was the newly opened restaurant. The staff were always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the towel shaped animals they created for us each afternoon :)! They were also very kind to provide a cake for my mums 50th birthday and decorate the room which made it extra special!! We loved our stay here and couldn’t fault it! Would recommend to anyone!

Minimalist Luxury - 3 Levels - Jungle Views

SeleneRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a lovely stay at Villa Blanc. The Villa is very private and spacious just like the pictures! Beautiful view from the main bedroom!!! The staff were very helpful and very kind as well to help recommend some local activities or spa’s just down the road. There is a nice walk to the main town from the Villa. Nice little coffee places and restaurants around the villa! But the main restaurants are in the main town which is not far by scooter. Thanks a lot & we hope to visit again soon!

Your guide to Ubud

Welcome to Ubud

From the minute you enter this captivating town in Bali, it feels as if you’ve been permitted entrance to some secret and special place. Elaborate temples, moss-covered stone carvings, and colorful offerings made of fruit and flowers are never far from view here, where jungle foliage crowds the city streets and vines as thick as your arm sway overhead.

In Ubud, streets hum with the whiz of motorbikes and surge with visitors and locals alike. Here you’ll find fresh, healthful food; abundant yoga studios; and a booming arts and crafts scene. This cultural milieu is set against a breathtaking backdrop of emerald-green rice terraces and verdant forests.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Ubud

Tropical Ubud receives the most visitors in spring and summer, during the dry season. The dry season is also the hot season, with heat and humidity peaking in the summer months. Fall and winter bring rain storms (especially in October and November), but crowds pick up again in December as visitors from colder environs flock to Ubud to stay in a villa for the winter holiday season. You’re likely to encounter a downpour any time of year, so pack accordingly. Ubud hosts several cultural festivals throughout the year, such as the Ubud Food Festival, which features workshops and cooking demonstrations in June, and the Ubud Writers and Readers Festival in October, which brings a fleet of international writers to the town.

Top things to do in Ubud

Agung Rai Museum of Art

Explore a fascinating selection of Balinese artworks, including traditional paintings on tree bark, works from important contemporary artists, and selections from expat painters including famous German artists at this museum named for the storied art collector who founded it. You can see artists at work in a pagoda outside in a beguiling garden. It’s especially interesting to watch those who paint astoundingly intricate large-scale landscapes in minute detail.

Setia Darma House of Masks and Puppets

There is a rich tradition of mask-making and puppetry in Indonesia and Bali, and you can explore the intricate craftsmanship that goes into the colorful artform at this museum housing more than 1,300 masks and 5,700 puppets. The sprawling collection includes traditional shadow puppets alongside contemporary ones modeled after public figures such as Barack Obama (who lived in Indonesia as a child), as well as some international items such as 16th-century stick puppets from Sicily. The collection is in a series of traditional Javanese teak-wood houses called joglos and surrounded by tropical gardens and rice fields. Check the website to see if there are any live performances scheduled.

Campuhan Ridge Walk

This gentle hike, much of it on a stone pathway, cuts through some of Ubud’s most gorgeous scenery. Perched — as advertised — on a ridge, the Campuhan Ridge Walk will give you panoramic views of Ubud’s undulating rice terraces. Few things are as calming as undertaking this stroll under a bright sky, surrounded on all sides by vibrant green fields. If you work up a thirst along the way, you will encounter a few cafes along the way where you can refuel.
