Warwick Country Retreat Pet Friendly

TrishRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Sandy's house was a great size for our 6 person creative retreat. We enjoyed the large hot tub, the clean and comfortable rooms, and the large selection of DVDs. The house is air conditioned centrally, and has ceiling fans in some of the rooms. Many beautiful birds were around. Great view of the sunrise from the front porch in the morning. It was peaceful and quiet for the most part. However as a heads up to other visitors, there was about an hour one afternoon where a neighbouring property was firing some guns for about an hour, which was very unpleasant for me as I'm sound-sensitive. But it was far enough away that for most people they probably wouldn't mind. It was nice to go outside at night and look at the stars. Thanks for a lovely stay Sandy.

Netley House: central, stylish haven.

JonathanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Wish I could give 10 stars instead of only 5! This was our second time staying here, and it’s somehow even better than before. Immaculate condition, perfect layout of the property and ample amenities. Very comfortable and private. The outdoor space was a very nice addition, and nights around the fire were magical. Comfortably fit our group and is located central to town which made it the perfect base for trips all around this incredible area. Will not hesitate to be back - my advice to others is stop looking, this is the one!

The Old Farmhouse

I had this home on my wish list for a little while and it absolutely lived up to my expectations. It is the perfect place to come home to after a day of hiking. Nicki’s recommendations for where to eat and visit were wonderfully helpful too.

The Little Tuscan Villa!

LaurelRating, 5 stars2 days ago
I have stayed at many airbnbs and this is the most successful at creating a beautiful atmosphere around a theme. Truly gorgeous and well curated. Very comfy beds and furniture. Kitchen well supplied with dishes, cutlery, utensils and pans. Excellent situation for outdoor dining with a lovely portico, patio, fountains, herbs, lights and fire pit. We enjoyed watching sunrise with a coffee and sunset with a glass of wine. Walkable to the cute little town center as well as the IGA and bottle shop. Sumptuous tub and shower to make you feel pampered. Prob best for 2 couples or a family with the one bathroom. 100% would stay again.

Secluded mountain escape with panoramic views

KimRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a gorgeous location, honestly it does not get better than this view. Many outdoor seating spaces all looking out over the valley. We used the pizza oven and they came out incredibly well! Overall, an amazing stay and can’t fault the place OR the hosts. Adrian and Stevens were easy to communicate with and very thoughtful! Highly recommend, we will be back.

Warranfels Homestead

We loved staying in this beautiful farmhouse. This was our second time staying and, even though the weather was not great, we had a lovely stay. We stayed inside with the fireplace going and played boardgames and laughed a lot. Went home feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Wingfield Cabin

RobRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Fergus and his fellow horses will greet you at the gate, and then, the drive in to the cabin takes you through an enchanted forest with Lyrebirds to be seen and heard among other native wildlife. Arriving right at the door to the cabin the first thing you notice is the endless view from atop the Great Diving Range. Open the door to a luxurious and rustic space, really very well set out and decorated. If you have an appreciation for the finer things, you'll notice the best quality linen, bedding, toiletries and appliances, not to mention the most comfortable bed and high pressure hot shower (very important). Inside and out, everywhere you turn there is something to impress. So well done, we could stay much, much longer and be content with the space we had inside and out. Tenterfield to the west and Rocky River, Timbarrra to the east. Our stay was for adventure, and we had it in spades, exploring Washpool National Park, Rocky River and the historical and beautiful town of Tenterfield.

Hooters Hut

ChristianRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Secluded cabin in very large, well-kept grounds. The accommodation is well equipped and clean. An idyllic spot for those who, like us, are looking for absolute peace and quiet. At sunrise, kangaroos come to graze on the grass right next to the accommodation. It's hard to go back to the city after a long weekend at Brooke's. Highly recommended!

Lane’s End Cottage - cosy farm stay

WendyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lanes End cottage is a hidden gem. Shelley & Chris were so friendly, the cottage is absolutely spotless and the location took our breath away and the only noise was from the birds or cow. A friendly visit from Skye the border collie was welcomed by us. Shelley had stocked the pantry and fridge with some basic staples including some fresh farm eggs. I must not forget to mention the log fire which Shelley made sure we never ran out of wood and the country garden with fresh herbs. I highly recommend this delightful cottage, my worry is it will be booked out when we hope to return.

Unique Off-Grid Stay 'The Cabin @ Lonesome'

MeganRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My friend and I were craving a treat of some comfy cosy time surrounded by nature. We were so satisfied with the cabin where everything was quality and attention to detail was high, but it still had a homely feel. The pictures don't do the view justice. We loved just sitting on the verandah listening to the birds and watching the wallabies. With the main house a good distance away and no one else around, it felt very private. Fab stargazing, sweet donkeys, great outdoor fireplace. What a gem.

Cosybrook Cottage

RosemaryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Karen and Paul are outstanding hosts. They welcomed us warmly and then let us enjoy our stay but it was clear that should we need anything they were there to help. The cottage was impeccable and great care had clearly been taken to make it feel homely and relaxing. It was lovely to be able to sit and read near the well-stocked wood-burning stove as October nights in Stanthorpe are still a bit chilly. The outside area is gorgeous with an outdoor eating area, barbecue, and fire pit (also well stocked and ready to go) set in a beautiful garden of mature trees. We enjoyed our stay immensely and congratulate our hosts on their attention to detail and for the care they took to make sure we wanted for nothing. Would recommend highly as a base to explore the Granite Belt or just to chill-out in a lovely peaceful setting.

The Drover, privacy, seclusion & serenity.

MattRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This place is a hidden gem with truly salt of the earth people. It is a slice of paradise that the owners have graciously given us the opportunity to experience. I have travelled all over the world and Australia, and this is in the top 3 places I have stayed. This will definitely be my runaway location every few months! The only regret I have is not booking more nights. Thank you again Amanda for sharing your piece of paradise!
