Megan's space was really beautiful and cozy space to recooperate after an intense hurricane. The space was easy to navigate and she was very responsive. There are many nearby attractions like a walkable park and the museum. My dog also was comfortable in the space.

5 out of 5 average rating, 213 reviewsOff Anna Maria Island ~10min to beach w/salt pool
Nicole's place was exactly as described. Both Nicole and Zach were very responsive to our messages. The property was very clean, pretty much spotless. Bathroom was a great size and had many supplies most places we have stayed do not. They provided snacks and coffees, had a nice supply of paper towels and other necessities. Instructions (video and detailed description) on where to park and how to enter were a huge help. The first night we arrived and just sat by the pool and enjoyed the light noise of rain under cover. It is very quiet and we didn't hear any traffic or other noises. We arrived between Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. Milton was a "surprise" to everyone but Nicole and Zach kept us updated as to what was happening and the evening of the Mandatory Evacuation we received information from them on when to evacuate and if we didn't have a place to go they would help us find a shelter or somewhere else. If I could give 10 stars I would. AWESOME A++++

Great location with the perfect beach house! Property grounds are beautiful and pool is amazing. We loved the upstairs lanai. The house is well equipped with everything you need. The shelling is fun and we saw lots of dolphins and a manatee!

Stayed for 2 days in the Cottage room and it was very relaxing. Lots of extras and special touches, and pretty quiet. It was adorable inside and clean. I would stay again, good communication. Would have preferred a keypad over a key but it would not keep me from returning. The garden is perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. parking right outside the door and it is close to eateries. Overall solid choice and close to beaches as well!

The Quiet Retreat is very comfortable and great location. It was beautiful inside and out. Loved the jacuzzi and the delicious selection of so many coffees. We visited the 3 days prior to Hurricane Milton and had great communication from both Marli and Ron. We had to leave that morning of the hurricane to try to catch a flight out of Ft Lauderdale. We made it just in time to head back to Texas. We will be back to stay here in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this retreat. Prayers to all those in Florida🙏🏻.God Bless.

Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. Hosts were wonderful and very responsive. Back yard was amazing!! Completely private with a wonderful small, heated pool. Plenty of space to bbq, eat, swim, lounge at outdoor bar or just enjoy the weather (overhead fans and decorative lights were a PLUS!). Inside, beds were comfy and the ceiling fans in each room were a nice feature. Within a 15 min drive to anything you need (groceries, bars, restaurants, Siesta Keys and more!) Great place to experience Sarasota!

The place was wonderful. I loved it. It was just difficult to check out at 10 am. For groups of 5 people with a single bathroom it would be good to consider leaving at 11 am. I'll be back

4.82 out of 5 average rating, 205 reviewsNo Damage: Cozy 1BR Beach Condo on Siesta Key!
It was a cute little beach condo. Everything was very clean and nice for two people. Only heads would be for the few other people like me who have scent allergies the linens and towels have a stronger smell on them. (They were clean but just with a laundry detergent that has fragrance) Thankful I always travel with a spare sheet & blanket when going on vacation but again that it’s just a few people who might like that heads up. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal. The area is perfect easy access to the beach and the bay. The pool looked nice we didn’t use it this trip but it was clean and nice size. I would very much recommend this place to my friends.

The place is special. In addition to clean and truly steps from the beach, the hosts have thought of everything. They provide cooler, beach bag, umbrella, beach towels, sun screen, after sun lotion, k-cups for the coffee maker and more. It's a can't miss. The hosts are special people. Flexible, accommodating, helpful and want you to enjoy your vacation. Made a special effort to tell us the room was ready ahead of normal check-in. Our second stay was better than our first because of the improvements and we look forward to our third. Amazing hosts. Don't pass this one up...

My daughter and I stayed here while on vacation in siesta key for a week. Debbie was extremely responsive, we drove in from up north so we weren’t sure exactly what time we would get there, but kept in communication the entire time. The condo was cute, cozy, clean and comfortable. It looked exactly like the pictures, and was the perfect place for our stay while on vacation. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the public beaches, easily accessible and close to lots of things to do while in siesta key. We would absolutely stay again!

Your guide to Sarasota
All About Sarasota
With several famous keys and 40 miles of beautiful white-sand beaches, Sarasota, on the western coast of Florida, has transformed over the last century from a small fishing town to a major cultural hub and destination for art-lovers, young professionals, families, and anyone looking to soak up the Florida sun.
In downtown Sarasota, ornate and imposing Mediterranean Renaissance mansions once owned by eccentric entertainment moguls sit juxtaposed against more contemporary glass facades and water features. You’ll pass by street artists and performers in the shade of swaying palm trees on your way to one of the city’s many cultural sites, like the Ringling Museum of Art or the bohemian Village of the Arts. If you’re looking to connect with nature, you can head to nearby Myakka River State Park, take a ride on the famous Legacy Bicycle trail, or, of course, loll about on Lido Key or Venice Beach, dipping into the shallow Gulf waters to cool off. Sarasota’s vibrant nightlife kicks off at dusk, when you can admire the sunset at the Bayside Boardwalk before catching a comedy show or dancing the night away in one of the area’s concert venues.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Sarasota
Sarasota’s reliably warm weather means that families, retirees, and spring breakers flock here during the late winter and early spring. In April, at the tail end of the vacation season, Sarasota hosts an annual film festival, where crowds gather to watch hundreds of award-winning films and attend filmmaker interviews. In May, the city hosts a free, independent LGBTQ arts festival.
Though Florida’s heat and humidity hit their peak in summer, and hurricane season lasts from July through the end of September, the city never really comes to a halt, with local events still taking place nearly every day. Once the weather calms down in October, the snowbirds return from the north to take up residence through the spring. Sarasota is famous for its seafood, especially stone crab, which is in season between October and mid-May.

Historic Spanish Point
Take a step back into Old Florida at this historic, 30-acre museum and environmental complex. Nearly 5,000 years of Sarasota history is on display at the museum. Explore pre-European life in the Americas, learn about homestead life in Florida in a museum inside a historic house, or wander the gardens and nature trails.
Marie Selby Botanical Gardens
The Marie Selby Botanical Gardens are made up of seven acres of land containing the world’s largest and most diverse collection of bromeliads. There are over 6,000 species of plants in the gardens, with a total of 20,000 plants living across 20 different curated habitats. The Rainforest Garden and the Butterfly Garden are most popular, but you’ll find mangroves, bamboo areas, and artificial caves to explore.
Ca’ d’Zan Mansion
One of the most iconic buildings in Florida, this mansion was once the winter home of a famous circus owner. Meant to emulate the style and feel of Venice, the mansion is five stories tall, with nearly 36,000 square feet to explore inside. You can look out over the Sarasota Bay from the marble terrace or simply admire the opulence of this home’s crystal chandeliers, Aeolian organ, or 82-foot-tall tower.
