Honeymoon on a Budget! Million $ Views! August $90

CindyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The view is beyond what was described, completely breathtaking! I would recommend if you haven’t frequented the mountains that you take the Gatlinburg bypass route and not the Ski Mountain route. Ski Mountain route has a number of sharp turns and steep inclines. The Gatlinburg bypass/Wiley Oakley route is much more manageable. The place matches the description and was very clean and well maintained.

TaschaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! It was nice and clean and felt very cozy. We especially loved the hot tub on the deck. Angela provided very clear directions to the house and places She recommended for things to do and places to eat! Only thing missing was I wish there was a better view of the mountains from the cabin. Everything else was wonderful!

First time in the Great Smokey Mountains/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg and we couldn’t have had a better place to stay! Central location where it is easy to access everything, while also feeling very private and removed. Couldn’t have been better and matched the description and pictures perfectly. Great host, great place, and highly recommended!

Cabin of Lost Soles

RobertRating, 5 stars1 week ago
4 years ago, my wife and I made our first trip together and stayed at Debbie and Dan's Casa Caboose. This week, we spent our honeymoon in the Cabin of Lost Soles and we loved our stay. Townsend is such a peaceful area and so close to anything you could possibly want to do in the Smoky Mountains. We will definitely be back again.

Ravens Nest Log Cabin

KaylaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was such a peaceful spot with a great view! We actually saw quite a bit of wildlife , hummingbirds and a bear, which was a first for me! Very cool, we ended up staying an extra day and Tammy was more than accommodating, we loved just hanging at the cabin. Personal hot tub and fire pit, this was so nice to have. It’s secluded enough from the other properties that you just have your own privacy. Very friendly staff and kitties on site as well!

CarissaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We loved staying in this unit in the Smoky Mountains. The space was clean and clutter free, the host was very good at communicating and accommodated a slightly later check out time. There was also a filtered water pitcher in the fridge which was an unexpected and very helpful addition.

Heavenly Bliss, FREE Resort Amenities, HUGE Hottub

ShaneRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The cabin was exactly as described. A very nice place. Everything seemed new and the hot tub was a very nice feature for the end of the day. It would be best to arrive the first time during daylight because the road is narrow with tight turns, but not unexpected for a mountain cabin. The location is close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I would definitely stay here again.

Panoramic VIEWS_Bears_Hot Tub & Pool Table!

WdRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A “WOW” home with such a beautiful view of the Smokey Mountains. We three (older) couples are fortunate to find such a jewel. 3 king beds with baths (shower & tub). Two-main floor & one upstairs. The roads are windy and steep, & you may get lost a time or two. We had black bears daily at the doorstep with a meeting at the trash. Pros: Outside balcony! Beautiful dining table and 6 chairs. Plenty of parking. The house layout is great. Kitchen fully stocked. Cons: The three couches are leather, but low and soft. As older adults, We had problems getting up. No chairs in the living room, just couches Also, upon entering the cabin, there are 3 steps, & no rails to assist. But, would we stay again? You bet we would! We prepared most meals & had 4 TVs for 4 football games. Our complaints were minor, & we’d be back again, just without a hurricane heading our direction. Rain gave us time to play cards and socialize. Great house and thanks for sharing it with us.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was really clean. Had all the amenities that we needed. Very peaceful, even though the cabin was up in the mountains we were still close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, we could get there within 30min. Jeanne was a great host, whenever we texted her, she texted us right back. When coming in at night be careful the road going to cabin is a one way curvy road.

What a peaceful and wonderful cabin! We felt right at home during our stay. We were close to everything we wanted to do in the towns and also felt secluded and enjoyed the nature while at the cabin. The best of both worlds. Bon and Maria were great hosts and we can’t wait to come back to the Smokey mountains!

Your guide to Gatlinburg

All About Gatlinburg

Nestled on the northern edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg is a diminutive mountain town surrounded by natural beauty. It’s within easy reach of more than 900 miles of picturesque hiking trails, leaving outdoorsy types wanting for nothing more — the national park’s thundering Grotto Falls are just minutes away, and the town boasts the only ski resort in the state, Ober Gatlinburg. While many visitors are drawn out of town for the region’s abundant wildlife — look out for the resident black bears and hundreds of bird species — staying put brings its own rewards. The Gatlinburg Sky Lift or an elevator ride to the top of the town’s 407-foot Space Needle provide a bird’s eye view of proceedings along with the scenic Smokies, while local breweries, wineries, and distilleries are tasty pit stops on a leisurely tour of local shops and galleries.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Gatlinburg

The stunning spectacle of changing foliage in the surrounding Great Smoky Mountains National Park makes fall a highly recommended time to stay at cabins for rent in this part of Tennessee. Around 100 species of tree gradually transform the mountainside from mid-October through mid-November, which is also when Gatlinburg’s annual Oktoberfest occurs. If you’re hiking in the park, remember to pack layers for the change in temperature at altitude.

During winter, chilly temperatures are countered by an abundance of holiday cheer, including the local Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade. Spring is primetime for nature lovers wanting to experience wildflower blooms — follow the six-mile Greenbrier route for kaleidoscopic displays. When summer rolls around, all eyes are on the town’s music festivals, and the annual Fourth of July celebration starts at midnight and runs all day and night, including a River Raft Regatta and an absorbing fireworks display atop the Space Needle.
