Enjoyed our stay with my family. It was in a great location. I love the fact that the Texan gas station is so close and we were able to rent a cart close by also. The beds are super comfy and the ac works well! I loved that the kids room had their own restroom. Would for sure be coming back!

Much better than staying at a hotel on the beach! Spacious washer and dryer for all of our beach clothes and towels. Super quiet. Any outside noise stayed outside. Beds were comfortable and plenty of room for 2 adults and 7 kids. Nice hot showers and clean bathrooms. Living space was comfortable and clean. Perfect for relaxing after a long day at the beach. Would recommend.

Truly a lovely condo, everything was nicely updated and clean. Sparkling pools just a few steps out the glass doors and a short boardwalk down to the beach! Had all the amenities you could ever need. One of the better units we have ever stayed in, highly recommend.

We had a great time during our short stay. We would like to stay again if we are back in the area. The place has a great view of the ocean from every window. The ocean is very close, it is a very short walk to concrete steps that lead you to the beach. The pool is also very nice and steps away. The apartment is located in the Island House Hotel and the staff are helpful, and we found other guests to be friendly. Overall a very relaxing place with great beach access.

4.87 out of 5 average rating, 244 reviewsCute Home/Walk to Ocean or Downtown
Extremely easy to get in and out of the house with the code. House was large with 3 bedrooms. The 3rd bedroom has a folding louver door and is quite crowded, so it doesn't offer noise privacy, but it's great for extra space at the front of the house. We put the baby in that room. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. House is old--the toilet paper roll kept falling off and the water in the fridge door kept leaking on the kitchen floor, but no big deal. There were a variety of pots & pans, utensils, dishes, salt & pepper, etc. Great location for the price with street parking as well as parking in the back of the house. We didn't get to enjoy the backyard because of mosquitos in Sept. Close to McGee Beach and North Beach. There is also a notebook on the table with restaurant recommendations, etc. Thanks for keeping it affordable!

A small family of 5 can sleep well here. The couch folds out for kids to sleep on and a sofa chair that can sleep another kiddo when folded out also. The morning view over the ocean with a cup of coffee and kids sleeping was fantastic, knowing they had a great time and will remember our stay here. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

Your guide to Corpus Christi
All About Corpus Christi
Set on the Gulf of Mexico, Corpus Christi is best known as a beach vacation destination, and for good reason â there are nine beautiful beaches here and plenty of opportunities to swim, kayak, paddleboard, and sail. Adrenaline junkies come for the world-class windsurfing at gulfside beaches like Whitecap.
But Corpus Christi also offers all the convenience and culture of an urban getaway â itâs the largest seaside city in Texas, after all. Stroll through the buzzy downtown areas, and youâll find trendy restaurants, bars, and boutiques housed in restored historic buildings. During the summer, escape the heat or spend a rainy afternoon at one of the cityâs many museums. There are water parks and botanical gardens around town as well, and Corpus Christiâs central location makes it a great home base for exploring other parts of the coast. At the end of the day, be sure to pause to enjoy the sunset â theyâre particularly stunning here.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Corpus Christi
Summers in Corpus Christi are hot and humid, with temperatures of around 95 degrees Fahrenheit that sometimes climb into triple digits. But you should pack sunscreen and a hat any time of year. In the mild, warm winters, daytime temperatures are usually in the high 70s Fahrenheit, though nighttime temperatures dip to around 50 degrees during the coldest months.
Along the subtropical Texas Gulf Coast, the wet season lasts from April to October, with a risk of hurricanes in late summer, so you can expect a rainy afternoon or two if youâre visiting during peak season. And hold on to that hat you packed â Corpus has one of the highest wind speeds of coastal cities in North America. If you would rather avoid the gusts, visit between mid-July and mid-October when the winds are calmest.

Tour the shipâs many decks, including the flight deck, which features 20 aircraft from the National Museum of Naval Aviation. Thereâs also a Pearl Harbor exhibit, a flight simulator, virtual battle stations, and an escape room.
Selena Memorial
The beloved Tejano singer is memorialized in a Corpus Christi museum built by her family and in a life-sized bronze sculpture located on the Corpus Christi Bayfront Seawall. Her music is broadcast from the outdoor memorial, which has been named Mirador de la Flor, or Overlook of the Flower.
