Petit Ecrin sur le Jardin Public

DanielRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We rate Virgine’s apartment “Excellent” due to the nature of her place and her overall hospitality. We have stayed in various places around the world and hers is unique and offered a wonderful personal experience. Le Petit Ecrin (little jewel box in French) is the luxurious multi-storied townhouse of Virginie’s family that is located right on the Public Gardens. Her family members were wealthy Bordeaux wine merchants. It was a quiet (yet close to the Old Town) and gorgeous location which we immensely enjoyed. A morning walk in the park was pleasant. The apartment is huge with two large bedrooms, large reception room, two bathrooms, sitting room, and a very large, well-stocked and modern kitchen. She graciously left some breakfast provisions in the fridge. It is on the second floor reached by a small elevator which is quite uncommon in a private home. Virginie lives on the third floor, but is not intrusive. The place is elaborately decorated in a vintage family fashion with la

Cosy T2 - Gare Saint Jean - Place de Parking

RichardRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Julien's place was warm and inviting. The building was very historic with beautiful architecture but the apartment was modern with many conveniences; a large shower, water and coffee, an amazingly comfortable bed and quiet. It was easy to find and close the the train and metro station. Check in was easy, they were waiting for us and offered many suggestions for the area. Also very accommodating allowing us to leave our luggage while we had breakfast before our departure. Would highly recommend.

Apartment in the heart of history

JimRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Louis-Antoine's apartment in Bordeaux was a great base for my wife's and my recent 5-day stay. The apartment was as described, with a very functional and comfortable layout, a well-stocked kitchen, and great views of Bordeaux rooftops and churches from the two skylights. The location of the apartment in the St. Pierre district is phenomenal, with countless restaurants, and cafes nearby, 20 minutes or less walking distance to many other attractions, and 5-10 minutes walk to the Tram to get you places that are not walkable or that you choose not to walk. There is also a bakery right across the street, a cheese shop about two doors down, a small supermarket across the street, and a couple wine shops that are easily walkable. Louis-Antoine met us at the apartment and was super thorough in getting us oriented. It is a bit of a climb to get to the apartment as it is on the top floor, but well worth it once there. Overall I highly recommend this apartment for a few days or more in Bordeaux.
