Modern Malibu Ocean View 1 bedroom

DrewRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Katherine was a great host. Very friendly and even dropped off wine and coffee for us. As far as the Airbnb itself goes, my girlfriend and I agreed that this was probably the nicest place we had stayed at before. The view is great and I believe the kitchen is updated since the photos. It was perfect for the two of us.

Loved Javier’s place- pictures don’t do it justice! Comfy couch and mattress, big tv, fully air conditioned. The freeway is not an issue for sound; the city lights are not distracting. Huge windows! Very peaceful.

Charming Two Bd Sunny Santa Monica

GiaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Sydny's apartment was just what we were looking for. It's in an excellent location in Santa Monica. Walkable to all restaurants, shops and the beach. It was IMMACULATE and the extra touches provided (a box with toothbrushes and toothpaste, sunscreen, face wipes... in case you forgot anything) was delightful. I was having a hard time downloading the app necessary for entry into the apartment so Sydney got there ahead of me and made it super simple. She even dropped off even more goodies like bottled water and extra toilet paper so we wouldn't need to run out for anything. And she bought brand new beach towels for us to use! So sweet and thoughtful. If you do need to get things, there are several stores nearby so you don't have to go far to get essentials. There are also many many great restaurants in the area so you don't need to cook if you don't want to. And the beach is an easy walk as are bike and scooter rentals. If you are looking for a great place to stay in SM, this is it!

2 Bedroom Newly Remodeled Modern Apartment

SimonaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Mieko gave us the precise directions. The apartment is as pictured I don't like apartments with many frills, this was perfect I have to say that dishwasher, washing machine and dryer were the best! Impeccably clean ! I wasn't crazy about pillows, but just because we're used to different pillows Very comfortable parking and a supermarket next door that could be reached on foot Mieko writes in the features that it may not be quiet due to road noise, but I have to say that it is not so noisy, in fact! We recommend and congratulations Mieko!

Cozy Beach Bungalow Apt - 2BD/1BA

Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
This flat is on the first floor in a wonderful community(I like the fire in the center of M beach). Neighbors are very friendly, Robert is so nice, warmhearted, take us walk around and give us a parking permit. The restaurants he recommended were delicious. The equipments in his home are all useful. It’s comfortable to sit in sofa when you wander all day in LA. The beautiful pier is just nearby, walk-distance. The circumstance of M beach is quiet, peaceful, relaxing, with sun-shining days and endless blue sea. Strongly recommend!

Relax in a Modern LA House in prime location

AudreyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The house was a great setup for our family of 5. Everyone had their own space and all necessary items were available. We did take advantage of the hot tub. Worked great but a neighbor came home that lives in a small building on the other side of the fence that made it feel a little odd. Kitchen was great and worked well for our family. My only thing would be I wish we had packed slippers. The wood floors could use a deep clean but otherwise a great place. Would stay again.

Topanga Canyon Vintner's Retreat -Guest House

MarciaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful time at Ralph’s guest house. He’s a wonderful host. Being surrounded by the views was joyful. We were visiting LA and took a side trip to Topanga for 2 nights to check out the area. Not being from CA, it was such an easy drive to and from our college student’s campus in LA. Lots of great hikes with coastal and canyon views. The full kitchen is nicely stocked, we easily prepared dinner for 3. We hope to return!

Diego's place was absolutely perfect for our trip to the Hollywood Bowl. It was just a 5-minute walk away, which made getting to the show so easy—we avoided all the traffic and crowds! The location couldn't have been better. Despite being so close to everything, the space was quiet and private, giving us a peaceful retreat after the show. Diego was a fantastic host, and the apartment was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend staying here if you're heading to the Bowl or exploring Hollywood!

Burnham Beach Cottage 2

SarahRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Wendy’s place is a hidden gem. Easy walk to beach, restaurants, Ubers readily available. There is so much positive energy! The cottage is comfy and cozy right down to every detail. The gardens and outdoors commons areas are so inviting and private and you can feel the love and pride that Wendy has in her little Shangri-La inside and out. She truly makes it feel like home. If you’re looking for a relaxing retreat this is the place. Plus Wendy was a pleasure to talk with and a wealth of information. This is by far one of the most enjoyable places that we’ve stayed at. We’ll be back Wendy! Thank you to much for sharing your home with us. ❤️

Adorable Farmhouse - 1 bedroom with a pool

BentleyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
This was my first ever time using AirBNB and Maribel just set my expectations for all other trips! She was such a nice host, letting me know about the taco trucks only a block away and checking up on me via text. Not only that, but the BNB was amazing! It was so quiet, secure, clean and comfortable. my favorite amenity was the outdoor seating that was comfortably secluded (i also loved the giant, rainfall showerhead). Maribel and her home deserve more than 5 stars!! I hope to stay again soon.

Marina Venice Garden Home

MiraRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Very sweet, cozy and extremely clean home with a very private/charming backyard. The photos don’t show this, but the view from both rear bedrooms = the lovely backyard, full of flowers and fruit trees. Relaxing outside was perfect throughout the day, but also comfortable enough to work too. Plug in the hanging lights in the eve and the ambiance is so nice. The home has everything you could need, including two coffee machine options- amen! Bathrooms are a little small- fair warning for larger folks. But again, the house is immaculately clean/fresh. Loved being able to walk barefoot in the house. Comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood = peaceful mornings and nights. Driveway or street parking was super easy/secure. The host/Sj is a gem- very kind and genuinely committed to creating a lovely stay for her guests. This home feels loved/well cared for across the board.

Your guide to West Hollywood

All About West Hollywood

Palm trees line the bustling streets and the iconic Hollywood sign looms large on Mount Lee, overlooking this trendy city in Los Angeles County. Though less than two square miles in size, West Hollywood — known locally as WeHo — plays a leading role in America’s cultural imagination. The pioneers of motion picture-making chose to live in West Hollywood for its proximity to the film studios, and its famed Sunset Strip has been home to everything from gangsters to celebrity sightings.

Today, West Hollywood lays claim to some of the best cultural institutions on the West Coast, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), La Brea Tar Pits, and the Hollywood Bowl, whose vaunted bandshell has been cradling performers for 100 years. WeHo attracts artists and creatives of every stripe, ensuring that you’ll never run out of on-trend restaurants, fashion boutiques, galleries, cocktail bars, and comedy clubs to explore. And should you need a break from all the coolness, there are plenty of green spaces and urban hikes to escape to.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in West Hollywood

Southern California is known for its consistently sunny and warm weather, with mild temperatures for most of the year. For this reason, there’s really no bad time to book your vacation rental in West Hollywood. But perhaps the best time is in spring when it’s not too hot, and flowers are blooming all over the city. Summers generally remain temperate, though there can be a chance of high heat. There is always something going on in LA, but one event especially worth visiting during is the Los Angeles Westside Food & Wine Summer Festival in August, when you’ll be able to sample culinary delights from some of the best chefs in the region. Fall and winter are never too cold, and you will be able to enjoy the outdoors no matter when you visit.

Top things to do in West Hollywood

The Hollywood Bowl

Since its opening in 1922, the Hollywood Bowl has been one of the most-loved music venues in the country. Nestled in the Hollywood Hills, it has hosted the biggest names in rock, jazz, and classical music. The Bowl’s iconic concentric-arched bandshell was renovated in 2000, bringing it up to modern standards. It’s well worth arranging tickets in advance to enjoy the experience of an outdoor concert in this glorious venue.

Los Angeles County Museum of Art

The crown jewel in LA’s art scene, LACMA is a fantastic place to spend a few hours. You can see the permanent exhibitions as well as special, rotating displays. There are several choices for dining on the premises, from quick grab-and-go options to a gourmet farm-to-table restaurant. There are also interactive activities for kids and an outdoor sculpture garden to explore.

Runyon Canyon

A hike up this canyon provides both a great workout and some of the best views across Los Angeles to Catalina Island and of the Hollywood sign. There are several trails up the canyon of varying difficulty levels, but the total hike is about 3.5 miles roundtrip. It does get busy, but if you’re lucky, you may spot a celebrity.
