Savor Blazing Ocean Sunsets at a Soothing Beachfront Haven

MichelleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
It’s not easy to travel with two large dogs and I appreciated being able to do that here. We all had the absolute best time. The cottage was beautiful with so much more included than I thought. I brought a lot of stuff in case and really didn’t need it. Listening to the waves at night was just what I hoped for. The boys (my dogs) had a wonderful time swimming all day and lounging in the deck. The list of local areas to check out was spot on though we didn’t get to visit nearly as much as we wanted to. It was just wonderful and relaxing and I so enjoyed a few days away with my husband and two dogs. Thank you so much for making this place available. I hope to come back soon.

Beach House - Apt 2

AddyRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We absolutely loved the location! Loved the restaurant next door and the short walk to the beach made this stay a relaxing and enjoyable one. Apartment was clean and updated, the grounds need some TLC to make it nicer. We wanted to use the grill and there were no grilling tools, purchased some and left them for the next guests! A fire pit would be a nice addition to the patio and paying attention to that area to make more appealing. The upstairs loft is lovely but the walking alone is hard to take downstairs. It was peaceful while there were no guests in the top floor. I give it 5 stars for location!

Cope near the beach

KateRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Perfect place for our stay! My parents stayed on the first floor with bedroom and full bath, and my husband, 3 year old, and I stayed upstairs in two bedrooms and full bath. Our pup enjoyed having her bed by the sliding glass door so she could soak up some sunshine:) We walked about 15 minutes to a park with swings and splash pad. Take a left from the driveway and a right at the end of the road. Beautiful view of the sound, and then the park is on the left. The ice cream truck comes around, which was neat for us! Great cozy place, highly recommend! We also ventured to Smith Point Beach, 5 min drive. It’s $18 to park for the day. They have a tiki bar and huge park on the sand for the littles:)

Charming beach cottage with private beach.

KristinRating, 5 stars12 months ago
We had our previous Airbnb reservation cancelled at the last minute. I went on not expecting to find much on a holiday weekend, saw this Beach Cottage, and jumped on it. It has private beach access, & salt flat view in the front. The place was extremely clean and nice furnishings. There was everything you needed in the kitchen, which was nice as well. There was ample parking, close drive to town, and nice neighborhood. We will definately stay here when in town again.

Modern Beach Mood 2!

RomanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wow! What a place! We were all blown away by the home from the living arrangement to the small details. The patio was amazing for enjoying the nights and the walk to the beach was very manageable. The patio space in the back was perfect for enjoying the cool nights. Cole was fantastic in hosting with setting the expectations with extra videos after booking. Cole was also very responsive and understanding. Next time I am booking in the Milford area, this will be the first listing I check for availability.

This was my second time staying here, and probably won’t be the last. A perfectly wonderful Hamptons home, with a beachy, rustic charm. It’s close to all, yet on a quiet street with a great backyard. David is a fantastic host, everything was spelled out clearly and the home was spotless.

The Hideaway

NikkiRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Dorina’s home was the calm, peaceful reprieve from the city we were looking for. Her home was so comfortable and she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The backyard was a little oasis with a large pool (with floats!), several (6 I think) lounger chairs, two 6 top tables in different areas and a functioning grill. We spent most of our time here! Dorina was fast to respond, helpful with recommendations and overall what you hope to have in a host. We would definitely come back to Dorina’s home!

A great place for three older people (all 80-ish). It had the feel of a good friend’s home — everything had been thought of, and everything was right where you would expect it to be.

6 minute walk to Ditch Plains Beach

AntoineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A great house, ideal for families and just a short walk to Ditch Plains beach. The kitchen was well-equipped and we appreciated that there was coffee, tea, olive oil and a varied spice rack for us to use straight away. Plenty of space for two families: both in terms of bedrooms and lounge and den areas plus of course outdoor space for BBQ or fire pits. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

We had a wonderful stay at Julie's lovely condo! Her place is so charming and the view from the porch is gorgeous, as is the walkway down to the beach. Loved having two separate bathrooms too. Overall relaxing stay and trip to Greenport. Sherri is very communicative and her instructions and listing is clear and accurate. The condo is well decorated and clean and has everything you need for a nice weekend. One thing to note- we were aware check in is between 3 and 5 pm based on the listing (wound up being around 4) but it would be nice for it to be earlier. Still 5 stars though!

ElysiaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was just enough space for my husband and I and our two daughters. Having a kitchen to prepare quick breakfasts in the morning before heading out for the day and having the pool and beach in the late afternoons gave us everything we needed to start and end busy days at the Hamptons Classic or visiting family. We are hopeful to visit again!

Your guide to The Hamptons

All About The Hamptons

A cluster of towns and hamlets on Long Island’s South Fork, The Hamptons combines long stretches of coastline, pretty villages, and verdant farmland with sought-after restaurants and boutiques. Around a 2.5-hour’ drive from New York City, the popular towns of South Hampton, East Hampton, Sag Harbor, Water Mill, Amagansett, and Bridgehampton are popular trips out of the city for their laid-back vibe, arts scene, and historic charm. The western towns of Montauk, Hamptons Bay, and Westhampton are home to farmers’ markets and delis bursting with local produce.

Montauk boasts the area’s best surfing beaches, hip bars and restaurants, and family-friendly activities like the Montauk Lighthouse. Explore the local area’s art heritage at the Pollock-Krasner House and get a glimpse into the artists’ studios. For something a little more active, rent kayaks, hop on a bike, grab a paddleboard, or set sail for an idyllic afternoon on the waves. Keen windsurfers will want to head to Napeague Bay for the best conditions.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in The Hamptons

The Hamptons experience warm, humid summers and cold, wet winters. Beachgoers will want to visit houses and cottages in The Hamptons for rent during the summer months — June to September — to make the most of the coastal lifestyle. Those braving the winter, especially January and February, will be rewarded with more space and a free run at the region’s top restaurants and bars, although some businesses close once the summer visitors return home. The Hamptons Restaurant Week takes place each March, and moderate spring temperatures make this an ideal time to explore the outdoors, hike Hither Hills, and visit the many wineries around the sound. Fall brings autumn colors and annual festivals, including the Hamptons International Film Festival and the Oyster Bay Oyster Fest in October.

Top things to do in The Hamptons

Long Island Wine Trail

Sample wine while sitting on a cozy patio or meandering through a lush sculpture garden. Most tasting rooms stay open during the off-season, making the Long Island Wine Trail a year-round destination.

Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill

Get inspired by more than 3,000 paintings, works on paper, and mixed media by local artists at the Parrish Art Museum. The In Artists Stories series offers a dynamic history of artists from the 1820s to the present through photographs, biographical information, timeline, and interactive map. Discover and connect with the artists of the East End through over 100 public programs and year-round classes and workshops.

Coopers Beach

Coopers Beach stretches along the shores of the upmarket town of Southampton. Sunbathe on fine, white sand or stroll past the grand mansions that line the dunes.
