Place was clean and nice. The location was extremely convenient to UPenn. We enjoyed the decor, the back garden and the fresh flowers from the garden were nice. Beds were also quite comfortable. We plan to stay there again.

Manayunk Philadelphia, Gorgeous Views! Luxury stay

ShannonRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We stayed at Jory’s place for our wedding weekend. It was the perfect spot close to our wedding venue at Valley Green inn and it provided a beautiful, bright and open space for our photographer to work their magic with our getting ready photos. The huge windows on every floor offered beautiful views and tons of natural light. The decor is nearly perfect aside from the rooftop needing some TLC, but you can see that from the photos. Jory was quick to communicate and we had plenty of space for family and friends staying with us. Manayunk is such a charming area. Thank you!

It’s really an elegant nice home . I feel very comfortable to live here. I can find anything I need and I can feel the happiness of the family.Dani is a warm-hearted careful hostess. She left many candies and milk for the kids. That’s really sweet. But I experienced the Phily flood when I’m in the house. Fortunately, there isn’t serious result and I got assistant info fm Dani at her first time. That’s really a kind of funny and serious situation!

New Construction South St. Broad St. Rittenhouse

ThomasRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Matthews place was as advertised. The rooftop had a great view of Center City. The area is quiet with some great places to hang out like the pop up beer garden. There are great restaurants within walking distance. We had a group dinner at Giorgio on Pine. We also went to Founding Fathers bar and restaurant a few times, which is right around the corner. We used the Broad street line, which is only a block away, to go into Center city as well as to the Eagles game on Sunday. Great location. Matthew is very responsive when you message him. Definitely recommend

The area is perfect for our stay since we were a 30 min walk from the Wells Fargo stadium and along the way there were so many shops and parks! The one thing that I appreciate most is the products left for guests because I had left my face wash and body wash. All in all we will definitely come back again!

Family Friendly Art Museum Gem w Private Rooftop

LaurenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Danni's apartment was perfect for our stay in Philly! It's a big apartment that's modern and clean and easily walkable to restaurants and close to the museums. We went to Bar Hygge across the street and it was a perfect vacation dinner. We were able to find street parking and since we were traveling with a toddler, we greatly appreciated that the apartment was fully child-proofed with gates on the stairs, secured cabinets, and outlet covers. The apartment had both a crib and a pack and play and the bedrooms were quiet and comfy. The playground across the street was perfect. The rooftop was also so nice! A great view of the city and it had a cute garden. Danni was super responsive and I'd definitely stay here again!

Because everything was ideal, it's hard to know where to begin. Christina's aesthetic is lovely--my friend and I admired the decor. We loved the cleanliness, clear instructions, and cordial communications. From start to finish, we loved everything about our stay. When headed back to Philly, we will definitely stay at Christina's again!

Stayed for a few days with my boyfriend and artsy daughter for her 10th birthday. Overall, it was amazing. The apartment is beautiful and felt very comfy to be in. We all loved the art work and how quiet it was at night. Our biggest and really only "complaint" is the parking situation..it was an authentic city parking experience. Absolutely a first come, first serve situation. So be prepared to park further down the road and walk to the apartment. We were sad to leave so early but glad we had the trip!

Great place! Exactly as pictured and as described. Loved having the washer and dryer available for use. Very quiet street, for it to be a main road there was no noise. The Family Abode | Gym. Parking, Game Rm, Rooftop

EmilyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our group of 8 had a great time staying at Michael's place in the Civic building. The building and apartment were very nice, and our kids loved the game room and golf simulator. There's a fun restaurant / adult mini golf place right next door. While the bedrooms were spacious, we could have used a bit more seating in the living area, but the layout of the apartment doesn't really lend itself to more living room furniture. The area that the building is in is a little sketchy and there's a ton of street noise, but we never felt unsafe. Michael was a great host and very communicative.

Your guide to Philadelphia

All About Philadelphia

Philadelphia is the birthplace of The Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, and you can experience the special place it holds in history at numerous sites around town. Visit Independence Hall, where those important documents were crafted, and the Betsy Ross House, where the seamstress is said to have sewed the first American Flag. You can also explore the city’s rich past at places like Elfreth’s Alley, the oldest continuously inhabited residential street in the nation, and Congress Hall, the original meeting place of congress before Washington, D.C. Philadelphia was also the first city to build a museum dedicated to the life and work of African Americans, The African American Museum in Philadelphia, while The Colored Girls Museum in Germantown displays artwork and tells the history of Black women and girls.

Towering skyscrapers along the Delaware River waterfront dominate downtown Philadelphia’s skyline. The city’s ultra-modern city center hosts the Avenue of the Arts, with numerous performing arts institutions, galleries, and a Walk of Fame canonizing musicians who’ve contributed to the city’s reputation as a music destination. You’ll find a thriving nightlife scene in Philadelphia rife with trendy bars and clubs adjacent to cultural sites like the Philadelphia Museum of Art and its iconic grand staircase — where there’s a statue of a boxer from a famous movie filmed here.

Between visiting museums and historical sites — and enjoying some of the city’s many green spaces — opportunities for culinary delights abound. Award-winning restaurants, beer gardens, and late-night corner shops selling the city’s famous cheesesteak sandwiches rub shoulders throughout the modern and historically celebrated city.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Philadelphia

Philadelphia is a city that experiences four distinct seasons, with wide-ranging temperatures and weather conditions accompanying each of them. Pink cherry blossoms bloom in the spring, and warm temperatures make this the perfect time to head outside to the local parks or to take a walking tour of Philadelphia’s many historical landmarks. The pleasant weather runs well into the fall, when amber and sepia tones dominate the cityscape. Winters tend to be fairly quiet, with chilly temperatures that hover just above freezing, along with the occasional snowfall.

Get your vacation rental in Philadelphia in the summer for events such as the folk music festival which brings together internationally renowned and regional acts for a weekend of festivities and live music in August, or the city’s famed Fourth of July celebration, which sees crowds gathered on the banks of the Delaware River for a fireworks display over the water.

Top things to do in Philadelphia

Bartram’s Garden

Founded in 1728, Bartram’s Garden is the oldest botanical garden in North America. It is so old, in fact, that it was started by the personal botanist of King George III, from whom America won its independence. This 50-acre public garden in southwest Philadelphia has riverfront walking paths, a medicinal plant display, and the oldest living Ginkgo Tree on the continent. Plaques and educational centers throughout the grounds provide botanical and ecological lessons on the native flora found in the gardens.

Independence Hall

In 1776 the Declaration of Independence was signed in the Georgian-style Independence Hall, cementing the United States as an autonomous nation. It was also here in this hall that the first drafting of the U.S. Constitution took place. Tour the UNESCO World Heritage Site with its red brick façade and ornate clock adornments for a firsthand look at the iconic Liberty Bell and a visit to the Assembly Room, the very site that saw the birth of America.

Reading Terminal Market

Set underground beneath an old railway station, the Reading Terminal Market hosts a brilliant display of fresh produce, meats, cheeses, and artisanal goods for purchase from over 80 vendors. The industrial and neon aesthetic makes for a lively and unique stop to stock up on food for your Philadelphia vacation home or to enjoy a meal from one of the dozen restaurants and open-air eateries located here.
