Peek-A-Boo Mountain View, Pool, Spa & BBQ Island

EricaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This stay exceeded expectations! The house was exactly as described and had all the amenities you could need, from extra paper towel to individual condiments to toiletries. Probably the best stocked Airbnb we have stayed in. The backyard is very private with beautiful mountain views, and the pool, spa and outdoor grill were fantastic. We enjoyed shuffle board and puzzles available. The immediate neighborhood was nice but a few streets south felt a bit sketchy so we didn't venture out on foot too much. It's a quick 10min drive into downtown Palm Springs and easy access to the Tramway. Overall we loved our stay and would gladly stay again!

Chill in the Hammock Under the Palms at an Airy Estate

We had a wonderful time at Brandi’s place! My girls absolutely loved the pool, the huge yard, and the game room! The kitchen was the most well stocked of any Airbnb that I have ever stayed in and had lots of kid friendly dishes. My girls didn’t want to leave haha. Brandi was very responsive and accommodating with my last minute booking request. We will definitely stay again!

This house was everything we hoped for and more. It’s within a country club and right along the mountains, offering a beautiful escape and tons of amenities. Right outside are the pool, jacuzzi, grill, etc., none of which could outdo the amazing view of the mountain and skyline. Highly recommend for a family vacation, trip with friends, or any great escape!

The Butterfly House - In Modernism Week 2017

TaraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is one of my absolute favorite Airbnbs. I stayed here in the spring and loved it so much that we came back again. It’s spacious, comfortable, well equipped, and I could spend all day in that backyard. Even in the super hot months, the house is very comfortable with air conditioning and plenty of umbrellas by the pool area. I absolutely love this home and can’t wait to return again. There’s lots to do in the area, but we find ourselves day after day just wanting to stay at the house and hang by the pool.

WendyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely LOVED staying at Suzette's place. She was incredibly responsive to the requests we made, and she got back to us quickly when we had a question. The pool (and the whole backyard) is totally peaceful and private, and the view of the mountains is amazing! Suzette's kitchen is impressively stocked with high-quality cookware; the best we've ever had at an airbnb. The open layout of the living room, kitchen and eating area is great for hanging out in as a family. All of the rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was great to have a walk-in closet off the main bedroom where we stored our suitcases. The neighborhood is safe and lovely for walking, and the downtown area is less than a 10-minute drive away. You can even walk to an Albertson's grocery store in around five minutes! We would definitely stay at Suzette's again.

Ani is great. Place is a bit pricey but the home itself is great. Location is okay - it’s great it’s close to joshua tree but there are better areas like yucca valley and 29 palms that are closer and have slightly more to do.

Pineapple Splash! Complete Privacy! Salt Pool!

BradleyRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Garry was a great host during our stay at the Pineapple Slash residence in Palm Springs. The accommodations & amenities matched their descriptions as posted online, and Garry was very responsive and flexible. He made a point of checking in via text to make sure if we needed anything and worked proactively to assist with our specific needs. The residence was very clean, the neighbors we came into contact with were welcoming and I always felt safe. The property was pet friendly and I’m very grateful we were able to bring the dogs along for the month we were there. We would definitely stay there again.

Doering-Palm Springs Pool-Spa & Mountain Views

LauraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
It is an impressive home, close to downtown Palm Springs. It was the home base for a golf trip, so the private pool and hot tub were ideal after a morning round. The misters adjacent to the sitting area were refreshing when the temperature was in the high nineties. Most courses were within a 10-15 minute drive. Downtown restaurants were also a short drive away. The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking, and the living room is spacious for group lounging. Doug was very communicative, and check-in and check-out were super easy. Hoping to revisit in the future

Mid-Century Modern Charmer with Great Pool.

PhilipRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was our second time staying here and are very happy that we stayed. It's in an area of Palm Springs with homes that have the mid-century modern design that Palm Springs is known for. The house, pool, and hot tub were perfect for our group of friends that joined us, and we had a great time. Kathryn was great to communicate with and very helpful and friendly. A great experience and highly recommend this place!

Architectural Hideaway

BertaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had such a lovely weekend celebrating my daughter’s second birthday at Elisabeth’s place. She was the most responsive, friendliest host I’ve ever come across. The house is very special and great for a family. We walked right into town for breakfast and we couldn’t get the kids out of the pool at house. It was a huge success and we cannot wait to be back! Thank you Elisabeth!

Your guide to Palm Springs

All About Palm Springs

Bookended by the San Jacinto Mountains, Palm Springs is known for its natural hot springs, restaurants, golf courses, and sunny weather. Locals and visitors alike embrace the relaxed mentality here, taking time out by the pool or browsing the concept stores downtown. But there’s a lot more to the city, including the Palm Spring Art Museum with three floors of mixed media art. Outdoor enthusiasts head out to the surrounding canyons and mountains for hiking or cross-country skiing in the winter. Food lovers can taste globally-inspired dishes in laid-back diners and upscale modern restaurants.

Visit during Palm Springs Restaurant Week at the beginning of June to try them all, or pick up fresh, seasonal produce at the Coachella Valley Certified Farmers’ Market every Saturday from October to May. The Uptown Design District runs the gamut from art to design, sophistication to kitsch. Sleek, mid-century homes designed by notable architects line the streets — take a guided tour or grab a map at the visitor’s center and head out on your own.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Palm Springs

Visit between January and April for the comfortable temperatures needed to enjoy the best of Palm Springs in the open air — hiking, spa treatments, sunbathing beside the pool, and more. Sunshine and cooler days bring a welcome buzz to downtown’s many curbside cafes and stylish bars, while less challenging conditions also make nearby Joshua Tree National Park easier to explore. Many of the area’s most popular festivals take place during the mild winter months, including the Palm Springs International Film Festival in January and Coachella’s famous music festival every April. Palm Springs summers are hot and long, stretching from March to September. Fall’s warm and pleasant temperatures make it a great time to enjoy local outdoor festivals like Props & Hops Craft Beer Festival in November.

Top things to do in Palm Springs

Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

Take a ride on the largest rotating aerial lift in the world, and climb 8,516 feet along the cliffs of Chino Canyon to the Mountain Station in about 10 minutes. You will be rewarded with spectacular mountain views. Temperatures drop to about 30 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit at the top, respite from the desert heat and the perfect weather for hiking nearby trails.

Indian Canyon

During the winter months, head out to Indian Canyon for optimal hiking conditions, with temperatures hovering around mid-60 degrees Fahrenheit. This beautiful and culturally rich area is home to native wildlife, plants, rock art, streams, and a 60-foot waterfall. Aside from the sacred beauty found here, you’ll also find multiple hiking trails suitable for most levels throughout the lush canyon.

Robolights

Venture out to the Movie Colony East neighborhood and visit the incredible light display known as Robolights. The exhibition gets redesigned each year with scavenged and gifted trash items. A wonderland of Christmas lights and sculptures, the four-acre residential plot will take you about 45 minutes to walk.
