East Austin HotSpot- perfect for groups

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We came in for the F1 race weekend, and this was a great place to launch from every morning. Apartment was as advertised, spacious with all the amenities we needed...enjoyed chilling out there after long days at the track. The Rainey district is just a short walk away, so easy to grab food and a drink there, as well. Amit was very accommodating with an early check in. We were a little worried about road noise from I-35, but it wasn't bad at all - light sleepers would probably want their sleep aids. Would definitely recommend and book again if the opportunity arises.

Cozy Home mins to Frost Bank CTR, Riverwalk, Alamo

Angela KRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Great stay! Loved the home. Beautiful inside, clean, just as described. We had 3 adults to attend a convention at Freeman Expo Hall and the location was great. 6 minute drive and no need to get on the interstate. We all had our own bedroom. Coffee supplies were greatly appreciated each morning. it was a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Everything we could have possibly needed and more were available. Easiest check in and out of any home rental we've had. Thanks so much for everything!

Single Malt Manor | Downtown Austin

RobertRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This air BnB is perfect for large groups who are looking for a place that can house everyone comfortably (everyone has their own bed), is close (walking distance or cheap Uber ride if you’re lazy lol) to many great restaurants and bars, and has great amenities at the house for days you decide to stay in (e.g. nice pool with patio and plenty of outside seating, a grill, speaker, etc.). The host was also very responsive and corrected any unintentional issues swiftly (e.g. we discovered the charging cable for the speaker was missing and we couldn’t use it and the host quickly received our message and delivered a new one within an hour or two). Lastly, the host super easy to work with and went out of her way to ensure we had an amazing stay (e.g. the host accommodated our last minute request to check in early which was super helpful considering all of us flew into Austin and the host also periodically checked in on us via text to ensure we always had everything we needed).

Romantic Retreat at Canyon Lake!

HarrisonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We throughly enjoyed our stay with Sam at Canyon Lake. The property was as described! It is truly lovely quiet and romantic spot in heart of Hill Country. We loved waking up to deer feeding around the house, and dinners on the deck. Sam includes a lot of extras like cooking oils, a good variety of spices, and array of glassware. Would love to stay again!

The house is beautiful, clean and modern. The view from the balcony and all of the open windows is amazing. Our stay was relaxing and a great weekend getaway. The location is perfectly centered between Gruene, Wimberly and San Marcos. We were able to go to each place, shop and eat at various local restaurants. Overall it was a great way to spend my Birthday weekend with my husband. Highly recommend.

Cozy Treehouse Suite in the middle of the woods

JeffRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I liked everything about the place! We stayed in the Hansel and Gretel cottage and it was a clean, comfortable, cute little cabin. It was a perfect base for our adventures. There was a charcoal grille off our private patio, so of course there were steaks the first night! We did every adventure they offered (except the horseback riding, ran out of time!). Micky was a wonderful host and tour guide. We met every animal on the place and the ANIMALS were even nice, well trained, well kept, and fun to be around. Vicky and Micky gave us some recommendations for a trip into Boerne, which is about 5 miles away, and they definitely picked out the best places for us to get food and entertainment. If you like animals (all kinds including some exotic birds), walking a beautiful property, being left alone to enjoy it, and personal service any time you need it I can HIGHLY recommend this place. Thanks to Micky and Vicky I was a hero for a nice anniversary weekend!

Romantic Fall getaway! Treehouse in the Holler.

KaylenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place feels like being an 8 year old at grandma's house in the woods for the summer. All the things you love and appreciate about home with the whimsy and serenity of vacation. Every time I thought "wow I wish this place had 'XYZ' I would turn around and there it was. So just bring your clothes, some food, a toothbrush, and leave the rest at home. Absolutely loved the tub and there was plenty of hot water.

Home away from home

BrittanyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Henrys place was perfect for us and our trip to Austin for ACL with our pups. We were comfortable, nice black out curtains and all needed amenities plus some. Henry was incredibly responsive and flexible as well. I read previous reviews about the shower pressure, but they must have addressed this because the shower was absolutely delightful. The location is truly unbeatable. We were a short walk from a very lively area. It was also a very nice neighborhood. If you are a light sleeper, I'd recommend earplugs, though, as it can get pretty noisy outside. This didn't bother us but it might get to some people. Overall, a perfect place for what we were looking for.

Relax Countryside w/ Pool, Outdoor Games, 5+ Acres

VernaeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
If you’re looking for a not too far from the city, private, getaway, this is the place for you! The place matches the photos perfectly. The one thing that wasn’t what we expected, was the view of the sunset and night sky, it was more than we could’ve asked for! Laurence and his co-host were very responsive and very accommodating. One of our guests got the chance to actually meet Laurence and he was super friendly and gave us our privacy, as well as saying hello. We almost forgot he was even there lol. Check-in/out was crazy easy and the grill was a must use with the vibes the place sets.

Your guide to New Braunfels

All About New Braunfels

New Braunfels, located by the cold spring rivers of Guadalupe and Comal, is a small Texan town, but by no means typical. Founded by a German prince in 1845, the area has a unique culture derived from its heritage as a German colony, with German nomenclature and influences visible in the town’s local businesses and 19th-century buildings. Cultural quirks aside, the main draws of the area include the aforementioned Guadalupe and Comal Rivers, which attract visitors for their clear, cool waters — great for rafting, tubing, and kayaking. The town’s outer reaches are filled with campgrounds, vineyards, and cabins, and Landa Park, on the shores of the Comal River, features sprawling trails, a miniature train, paddle boats, and lush scenery.

New Braunfels’ Gruene District is a Nationally Registered Historic District, where you can dine in a 19th-century cotton gin, or enjoy live music at one of the oldest dance halls in Texas. The town is also home to several museums, such as the Museum of Texas Handmade Furniture, showcasing artisan pieces from local craftsmen through history, and McKenna Children's Museum, an interactive kids’ attraction that teaches children about space and technology.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in New Braunfels

The best times to consider a vacation rental in New Braunfels are the months of August through November. The temperatures are warm but not uncomfortably hot, and accommodations are usually at more reasonable prices than during the spring and summer. Wurstfest, in November, is one of New Braunfels’ longest running annual festivals. A celebration of German culture, sausages, and breweries, Wurstfest promotes local eateries and crafts, letting visitors try on traditional clothes and enjoy the various interpretations of German wurst sausages. In addition, Wassailfest is New Braunfels’ own take on the traditional German festival. It’s named after wassail, a hot drink made from mulled cider and spices. Guests can wander through vendor stalls with a collector’s mug, sample local food, and watch holiday celebrations with cider in hand.

Schlitterbahn

Consistently recommended as an exceptional water park and one of New Braunfels’ great attractions, Schlitterbahn offers a variety of aquatic attractions such as water slides, gargantuan pools, obstacle courses, and a waterside playground for younger guests. The majority of the pools are comfortably heated, and food options range from barbecue, burgers, and traditional fairground food.

New Braunfels Railroad Museum

The New Braunfels Railroad Museum, also known as the New Braunfels Historic Railroad and Modelers Society, is an organization and show space dedicated to preserving railroad history, from preserved artifacts and photographs to the celebration of various model trains.
