The Sugar Shack

AbigailRating, 5 stars2 days ago
A howling wind whirled through the woods; coming in late at night, cold and dark, we found this cabin to be the perfect hideaway. Its yellow lights invited us from a distance, and walking in was like being wrapped up in a blanket. There was so much love and thoughtfulness built into this place and you really did get the sense that you were home for the night. We loved having the little kitchen to make dinner, a proper teapot, the book-lined shelves, and the secluded area to enjoy it all in. I'd love to make it back here again sometime, thank you so much!

Frank Lloyd Wright's The Meyer House

KaelaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
I booked the Meyer House for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was the perfect place to celebrate. Words couldn’t do this home justice. The architecture is grand, but Doug’s decor makes the space cozy. We spent the weekend bird watching and lounging, watching deer and turkey from the backyard. We love to cook and the kitchen had all the cookware we needed, unlike many airbnbs. Doug and Cindy were easily accessible and incredibly helpful. We will definitely be back!

Country living close to Downtown. No cleaning fee

LesaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Marco and Joni were 2 of the friendliest, kindest hosts we've ever had at a vacation rental. The space on their property was private, immaculate, peaceful, and cozy. We felt safe and secure. They went above and beyond in their communications with us. We enjoyed walking the trail, petting their sweet goat George and watching the sunrise. Our trip was made in the Fall, so the trees were beautiful! Marco and Joni gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants and stores. Their attention to detail was appreciated! There are stairs that lead to the rental space, and although we didn't have any problem with it - guests should keep this in mind if they have difficulty with stairs. This Airbnb was one of our favorite, most memorable parts of our first trip to Traverse City. Thank you! Jim & Lesa

Frank Lloyd Wright’s Eppstein House

MargieRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This Frank Lloyd Wright home was impeccably cared for and beautifully appointed. It was our first day in a Frank Lloyd Wright home and it was a memorable experience ! There is a library of books on Frank Lloyd Wright, Arts and Crafts related subjects , interior design, architecture, books and magazines for those who are interested. The lovely record collection is fun to explore~ we danced to The Bee Gees😆. The surrounds are beautiful and peaceful… Tucked in a rolling country setting. A fascinating and relaxing experience… My husband is now hooked on visiting special architectural homes. Marika and Tony are the consummate gracious hosts.

Hidden Hollows

CurtisRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed at Collene’s place for one night while in the Frankenmuth area for our anniversary. The cabin and grounds were quaint, quiet, and beautiful. Check-in and check-out was simple and seamless. The cottage is unique and an experience you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else in Michigan or surrounding areas. Would highly recommend!

Exodus: Luxury Tower With Hotub Near Sleeping Bear

JohnRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Secluded stay just outside of Empire and a short drive to everything that Traverse City and the Leelanau peninsula has to offer. We enjoyed having the short drive to a few of our favorite hiking trails and still being in close proximity to the local wineries and bars. The home is a beautiful and very modern place to stay with the very basic amenities covered well. We enjoyed having access to the hot tub as well!
