Large house with garden near city center

SaskiaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The four of us spent a girlfriend weekend in Groningen. The place was even nicer live than the pictures. Everything clean, very tastefully decorated, great location, great courtyard. Beautiful! There was shower and shampoo in the bathroom and even the kitchen was stocked with coffee, milk and tabs. In addition, drinks in the fridge were at very fair prices. The host was very nice and, although we were on site two hours early, let us leave our luggage and took care of a parking pass for the car.(Residents can park free of charge on the street in front of the house with permission.) The location is wonderful. Right by the park, a few minutes' walk to downtown, numerous restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. We highly recommend the place and had a great weekend.

Agnes and Johan were perfect hosts. Johan greeted us at the door, helped with luggage and made sure that we understood everything. This is a lovely apartment and beautifully situated. Johan is an incredible artist. Caution - two flights of narrow and winding stairs.

Unique location on the water! (Groningen nearby)

We (two adults) felt very comfortable immediately. We met hosts and can say that it is a very nice family. The house is super nice and comfortable and modernly equipped. Very nice garden with privacy. A very nice quiet area with many opportunities to do something. We were on the bike and were able to perceive the great surroundings. In the immediate vicinity you will also find great paths to the nature protected area on foot. Shopping is also no problem, everything very close. We were very satisfied and would love to come back. Not far away about 18 kilometers, the city of Groningen is located and there it is also very beautiful as described, through the many streets and canals. In summary, everything very nice and impressive. 👍 Diel family

Luxurious private ground floor apartment | 1930s

I was very pleased with my stay at Robbert's house. The house was spotlessly clean with very nice decoration. It had everything, we lacked nothing. You could cook if you wanted. At the back it has a very well-maintained garden if the weather is good and someone wants to drink a coffee outside. It was very close to the city center. On foot, it was about 25 minutes if one wants to walk with very nice scenery to see along the way. The bus stop is almost outside the house and the buses are frequent. There is a bus almost every 6 minutes. Robert was available throughout our stay and answered all our questions even those not related to the house. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Groningen.
