Private Spa & Garden Alpi

MichelleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The photos of this airbnb property accurately match the unit. If I'm being honest, it's even better in person! My personal favorites were the sauna, mountain views while sipping coffee in the morning, and the easy, quick access to hiking trails near by. The unit was super clean, full of amenities and Mikail was very accommodating, friendly, and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would highly recommend staying here and hope to be returning in the future. Thanks for everything Mikail!!!

We felt completely comfortable in the apartment from the beginning. The apartment is the perfect starting point in the Berchtesgadener Land. Königssee and Jenner are within walking distance. You can also travel flexibly by bus. If you want, you can even take the bus to Salzburg. We will be happy to come back.

Riverside Apartment Erfurt

Dear Kerstin, what should we say? If you don't give a full review here, I don't know either. You could complain that no cocktails will be provided on request. But seriously, we were super satisfied, a great apartment and Kerstin gave us great tips for things to do and surroundings. Full score. Thank you so much for the nice days in Erfurt.

We had a wonderful week in Iris's apartment. We immediately felt comfortable in the cozily furnished apartment with a large balcony and fantastic views. There is nothing missing in the kitchen, the bathroom is also large and has a great bathtub. In addition, Iris is a perfect, warm and always available hostess. This apartment is really a real haven to relax in the beautiful southern Black Forest! We will be happy to come back!

Panoramic view to central Koblenz

PeterRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a comfortable and well decorated apartment! Once inside the apartment you are overwhelmed by the furnishings and the great view. The bathroom is huge, the living room is comfortable and the kitchen is functional. The apartment is safe and quiet. You sleep like a log in a comfortable bed. If you arrive by car you can’t stop outside the entrance door. To much traffic and a bicycle lane make it a mission impossible! Piece of advice: pass the entrance door, take a direct right turn ( you have to go over the paving stone and bicycle lane) into a short pedestrian street, stop between the Bäckerei and the O2 store, unload/load your car! We parked our car in the recommended underground garage ( the price is now 20 euros/24 hours). Walking distance to restaurants, supermarket and attractions. 👍 Finally: we do recommend a stay in this apartment. You will not regret it😊

Charming "Chapel" in North German Bullerbü

We fled the countryside for a weekend from the big city and got away from it here at Martin's place. We felt very welcomed by all the residents. The idyllic accommodation is as described and you feel warmly taken care of. Surrounded by nature, a few sweet cats and two geese, we felt very comfortable like us. We are completely convinced and enjoyed our trip very much. We'd love to come back :)

Romantik pur im ‚Daini Haisla‘

Probably the most beautiful Airbnb I've been to so far. We were in the area to explore the climbing paradise of Franconia - from the property you could reach many climbing walls in a very short time. The place was simply beautifully decorated - with a lot of love for detail and very clean. We'll be back!

Frank is a great host. Super helpful and friendly, too. The place is perfectly central to explore Bamberg. Right at the river with next to the iconic bridge. The surrounding buildings and the apartment itself is historic and therefore definitely something special. Thanks!

Waldhütte - Tiny House

Were in the forest hut for the second time, and again a fantastic experience! The tranquility and seclusion of this place are simply unbeatable – perfect for escaping everyday life and really unwinding. We had a long weekend of rest and got exactly what we needed to recharge the batteries. The cabin offers everything you need for it, and the location is just great. Everything was prepared so we felt right at home. If you love nature and want to enjoy the peace and quiet, this is the place to be. We'll be back for sure!

Your guide to Germany

Welcome to Germany

Germany might just be the best place to orient yourself to central Europe's varied terrains: Its borders are flanked by vertiginous Alps, brilliant lakes, and dune-ribbed beaches. Off the northernmost tip, the Frisian Islands form a dreamy 24-mile long archipelago, with the island of Sylt shining as a popular choice for a ritzy getaway. Down south, the Romantic Road winds through Bavaria’s historic walled towns, Romanesque villages, and mountainous landscape. This rugged region is also synonymous with popular festivals like Oktoberfest. In the country’s interior, the scenery softens into idyllic valleys, plains dotted with farmhouses, and meditative forests. But it’s German cities like Berlin, Munich, and Frankfurt that offer a steady pulse of culture. The country still hums with activity throughout the winter season when the snow-capped mountains change from a hiker's paradise to a base for skiing. The famous Christmas markets that spring up across most towns and cities in Germany offer mulled wine, traditional sweets, and handmade crafts.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Germany

With the weather at its finest and festivals galore, summer is the perfect time to stay in one of Germany’s vacation rentals. Travelers take advantage of the long sunny days to hike and swim amid the glorious landscape and linger in the country’s iconic beer gardens. From December through early January, Germany transforms into a winter wonderland with famed Christmas markets lighting up nearly every city and village, set against a backdrop of pristine snow. This is also a great time to visit for winter sports enthusiasts — especially if skiing in Alp towns like Oberstdorf is on your bucket list. Although summer is considered peak travel season, fall and winter are also popular times to visit. For smaller crowds, visit during spring and autumn, when you’ll find festivals and wine harvest taking place in smaller towns and villages.

Top things to do in Germany

Bavaria

Bavaria’s countryside boasts a trove of natural wonders. Bavarian Forest National Park, the country’s first national park, is home to 14,000 wildlife species, including the endangered lynx, Ural owl, and capercaillie. The shorelines of Lake Constance’s sparkling cyan waters touch Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, making the lake a hotspot for swimmers and sailors from all three countries. The setting for all this: The Bavarian Alps and Danube plains, which are dotted with storybook castles fit for a fairytale.

Neuschwanstein Castle

Originally a retreat for King Ludwig II, this 19th-century castle is now one of Europe’s most-visited citadels. A mix of Romanesque and Byzantine architecture, it is inspired by castles and cathedrals of the king’s childhood. Inside, discreet passageways and grand hallways lead to gilded rooms and skyscraping watchtowers.

Museum Island

Museum Island is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Berlin’s most popular stops. Here, five world-class museums were built over the course of centuries. The Altes Museum was designed by one of Prussia’s most prominent architects, the Pergamon Museum houses a coveted collection of Greek and Roman antiquities, and the Bode Museum is known for its 19th sculpture collection.
