I stayed at the Crow‘s Nest with my husband and our daughter for six days to explore Galway and the region. It is located in a peaceful, beautiful setting. It took us about 30 minutes by car to get to Galway, which was absolutely fine. The connection to Connemara and other sights was also really good. Also: Maura is an amazing host! We were received with delicious scones on the kitchen table, and she shared so some really useful recommendations with us. She was very reliable and got back to me very quickly when I had a question. The flat was clean and comfortable, we all felt at home very quickly. I can absolutely recommend the Crow‘s Nest!

Dolly was the most amazing Air bnb hostess we have ever met. She is so friendly and outgoing! She was happy to meet us 2 hours earlier than check in time and showed around her lovely home and gave us some wonderful recommendations for places to eat, day trips, live trad irish music etc. Throughout our stay Dolly kept in contact and answered any questions we had, no matter how silly they were. She even had extra frypans delivered so we could do some more home cooked breakfasts. I would highly recommend Dolly's house to anyone who visits Galway. Only 15 minute walk to town. Her house is lovely and spacious and even with only one bathroom it was still perfect for 2 couples. A second toilet downstairs a bonus. Bedrooms spacious! Comfy beds. Kitchen well stocked and welcome champagne and treats so thoughtful. I want to give Dolly 10 stars instead of 5. She is just delightful to deal with from beginning to end. I'd love to go back one day! And Munroes pub for live trad music is a must.

My stay at this house was incredible! The place is even more beautiful and spacious than the photos show, with a stunning view that truly elevates the experience. The host was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making sure every detail was perfect. The hospitality was outstanding, and the house had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I’m already looking forward to coming back another time! Highly recommended!

My husband, mother, and our 1 year old did a month long trip around all Ireland-- and this was our very favourite place we stayed. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming! Their home, outside and inside, was beautiful and cozy... truly a peaceful haven! It was in close proximity of both outdoorsy activities and city ventures. They even had toys and such that our 1 year old loved to play with. Could not recommend this location enough, when we return to Ireland their place is the top of our list!

Farm stay in County Clare
4.98 out of 5 average rating, 168 reviewsGranda’s House Charming Renovated 200y/o farmhouse
This stay was so lovely! Tom and Marie were such great host and the farm was so beautiful. The puppies, Joey and Bruno, were also so sweet! There is so much to do in the surrounding villages (we loved Lahinch specifically) and this made the perfect home base while exploring all of Clare, as well as bits of Kerry and Galway. Could not recommend highly enough!

Beautiful property! Would love to stay here again. Highly recommend, it is a peaceful location very well maintained and easy to find. We were lucky enough to stay at two of their listings as we accidentally shorted our stay by a night. Aidan was very accommodating and made a smooth transition from one cottage to the next so we could still enjoy our day in Galway City.

Beautiful little cabin in a lovely & peaceful place. The photo’s don’t do it justice and it’s much more spacious than you’d think. Éinne’s place was kitted outwith everything you need for a short stay and Éinne was a responsive and thoughtful host. Worth the money and would definitely stay again 😃

What if not that Jacqueline is a great host?? The cottage is absolutely delightful, the beds super comfortable, everything was at our disposal, with jams without added sugars absolutely delicious! The decoration is neat and very to my liking, the children found games that had a lot of fun, in short, I recommend going there, we did not make a fire because the heating was enough but I would have loved to do it for the charming and comfortable little side of the sofas by the fireplace...! to do!!
