Home in Stradbally Beach

We needed downtime in a comfortable, well-resourced, peaceful, beautifully located cosy cottage. We wanted beaches to walk very close by, opportunities for good food, distractions and making memories. We hoped the host would be close by, friendly (but not too friendly!), responsive, flexible and helpful. And....we got it all, a dream Kerry coastal break. Thank you so much, Garry and Suzanne.

My group of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Michaels. the location could not have been better giving us a quiet place to unwind while being within walking distance to everything downtown Cork had to offer. Having the extra space to relax especially on days when the weather wasn't as nice was such a relief for my whole group. In, addition there were many many pamphlets for nearby attractions and local recommendations from Michael for some nice local spots. Michael as a host couldn't have been more friendly and was very easy to communicate both before and during our stay. We would absolutely stay here again and couldn't recommend more highly.

Margo was absolutely lovely! This was our second visit from the U.S from seven years ago and it was even better this time! so astonishingly beautiful and peaceful. this was the end of a long trip to Ireland and it was definitely the most beautiful place we stayed. Margo made it even better by being so friendly and helpful and welcoming. we will be back!

Loved our stay. The room and bathroom are very intimate, we had our own entrance. Everything was spotless and some goodies were waiting for us when we arrived. The space is perfect. We stayed 3 nights with a baby and it went amazing. In the description, it is mentionned that we might hear the host family. Honestly, it was pretty quiet. Lovely host :)
Home in Kinsale
4.91 out of 5 average rating, 104 reviewsThe Dockhouse Kinsale
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Michael's property. I found the property on TikTok from a well-known Irish travel influencer. She mentioned how wonderful the house was and the location was perfect. I agree with her sentiment and want to add a few things. First of all, this was one of our favorite places we stayed on our 2.5 week vacation. The house was pristine and in great condition. I wish we had been in Kinsale for longer so we could've made use of more of the house, like the balcony, outside space, etc. Michael has thought of everything with this property and had a wonderful and easy to use house guide as well. We loved our stay at Michael's property and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Kinsale or Cork area.

Maybe the best accommodations in all of Ireland. I’ll never forget it. I’ll also say I understand why Patrick lists it as off the grid, but our family didn’t even notice it. Felt like home. Already scheming a way to get back!

Stephen and Eimear’s place was so charming and inviting. It’s warm and cozy. Nice and quiet, close to Blarney Castle and Blarney Village. Every amenity needed for our stay. Lovely little spot.

Brilliant few days in Arti’s. The place is so peaceful and quiet with amazing views. While you need a car to get them, there are lots of nice amenities to drive to close by, but the real draw is the ability to go off grid for a few days in beautiful surroundings. Arti is also a super responsive and helpful host. Enjoy!
Guest suite in Kinsale
4.96 out of 5 average rating, 297 reviewsKinsale Cosy Studio
Rosemarie and her wonderful pup Curly offer a great place for a great price near Kinsale, Ireland! We were excited to find a good spot close to town (down a relatively short, steep road). Rosemarie's place felt like home-filled with welcoming gifts like fresh flowers, and yummy snacks. Her spot is a small oasis close to everything you want to do in Kinsale! We enjoyed our time there! She had great recommendations and was very responsive to any questions that pop up. Two small notes to add: (1) the wifi is fairly slow... which is completely fine but not ideal as a place to work if that is what you are looking to do; and (2) Rosemarie provides plenty of notice in her listing, but it is a small place, so be aware of that. Otherwise, a splendid stay in such a stunning costal town. Thanks, Rosemarie!
Cottage in Clonakilty
4.99 out of 5 average rating, 162 reviewsCharming Converted Barn near Clonakilty.
We had a wonderful stay at Annette’s place while exploring West Cork. The Barn is a good size for a couple and it was lovely to relax with the wood burner on after a day out and about. Annette was a fabulous host making sure everything was alright for us and giving us great recommendations of places to visit. We especially enjoyed our day exploring Mizen Head and then stopping off at Crookhaven for a salmon sandwich lunch at O’Sullivan’s. The Fish Basket at Long Strand after a walk on the beach and Kinsale with lovely little independent shops and lunch at The Lemon Leaf were also lovely days. Annette suggested we take the scenic route to Kinsale along the stunning coastline. Too many beautiful beaches to mention but local Inchydoney is worth a visit. Thank you Annette for everything!

We had a great time at Colettes place. She is so lovely. Helped us out with everything we needed and we were kindly received with snacks when we got there. Not to mention the most delicious scones made by here early in the morning. 100% recommended.
