I recommend this charming studio, clean and nicely decorated. The peaceful neighborhood and ease of access and parking are real assets. Thanks to Jean-Yves for his welcome, even in a diluvian rain (😅) and his availability.

Home in Sceaux
4.92 out of 5 average rating, 114 reviewsIndependent studio in old house
It is located at the beautiful and quiet town of Sceaux, with a beautiful park and castle. The trees on both sides are neatly trimmed. The studio I lived in is on the first floor of a beautiful villa, separate from the landlord, and so does not interfere with each other. It is very clean and quiet. I slept very well these days. The transportation is also very convenient. I bought a weekly ticket and it takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the nearby subway station. It is very convenient to take the RER B line to the city. There is a Carrefour and a great restaurant nearby. The landlady is very nice and told me the location of the nearby laundry.

My mum and I had a lovely stay at Gillian’s place in Paris. The apartment was clean, cozy, and in an unbeatable location—perfect for exploring the city and lots of great food close by. It’s on the smaller side, so I’d recommend it for couples or solo travelers. The loft is charming but could be tricky for those not comfortable with ladders; fortunately, there is a more accessible bed on the main floor. One thing to note is that there was some construction going on during our stay, with people coming and going, so if you’re sensitive to noise, it might be a bit disruptive. However, this is no fault of the host, and Gilian herself was wonderful—very kind and responsive, even offering flexibility with check-in and check-out times. Overall, a great experience in the heart of Paris!

My husband and I had an amazing time here. The place was peaceful and gave us the “Paris experience “ we were looking for. It’s in a great location that is surrounded by delicious foods, cafes and super quiet. Everything is walkable and if you want to jump on the metro there are many nearby options. Pierre provided us with excellent communication.

I had a wonderful stay at the villa! The home was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. Every little detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making it feel like a true home away from home. Our host and on site staff were incredibly welcoming and responsive, offering great recommendations and ensuring I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect; quiet yet close to nearby attractions and shops/markets. I highly recommend staying here and would love to return in the future. Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality!

Sebastian’s place was the PERFECT place to stay during the closing weekend of the Olympics. We were within walking distance of many of the most exciting Arrondisements and all of Paris’ sights and sounds and were a block away from the metro to get anywhere we needed to in the city. Sebastian was a joy to work with and we would highly recommend his apartment for anyone looking to stay in a fun and vibrant neighborhood in the City of Love.

She is very responsive and patient. Very helpful when you need them and addresses concerns immediately. The place is beautiful. A bus stop is right in front of the unit, the metro is 10-15 minutes walk sometimes its tiring depends on how you spent your day. The supermarket on the ground floor has everything! Theres a small concern but was addressed immediately.

Sashine’s apartment was clean and beautiful. It worked out great for our family. The location is amazing with the Eiffel Tower, Arc de triumph, and the champs elysées all within a short walking distance. It is a great location for families with young children as everything is very accessible. I would highly recommend Sashine’s place and would love to stay there again in the future.

This apartment is really spectacular. We loved to stay here and opted to eat “at home” some evenings just to enjoy the space. With three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms perfect for six adults. The neighbourhood is great and not very touristy, which we appreciated, but still just a short walk to Jardin Luxembourg and the less known but beautiful Jardin des Plantes. A very memorable long weekend in Paris!

Rental unit in Passy
4.92 out of 5 average rating, 194 reviewsCosy studio near Eiffel Tower
I was looking for an accommodation that was close to tourist attractions and had an Elbe, but this place met the standards, and there were a lot of Korean reviews, so I trusted and decided. You can't see the Eiffel Tower from the room, but it's really close, and if you take a bus in front of the accommodation, it's right at Trocadero Square (about 15 minutes on foot, and it's good to walk). The transportation was good, there was an Elbe, and the host was right in front of the house, so I was a little more relieved (I'm alone). The host was very friendly and communicated well! The code 1 and 2 that the host sends me is the passcode to access the front door, but I didn't know that the code was the password, so I was wandering around. The coffee pot was a little dirty. I think it needs to be replaced (I just boiled water in a pot) When I choose an accommodation, I choose an accommodation with white bedding. It's white in the picture, but when I went, it was dark green? And the shower curtain and towels are all dark. I thought it was a little clean. Anyway, overall, it was a very satisfactory accommodation. I recommend it!

This was our first trip to Paris, and we were looking for something in a more local neighborhood rather than next to the touristy spots. Stéphanie’s place was just that. We love walking a fair amount around new cities, so we had no problem exploring a ton on foot between the apartment and our destinations. If you’re not up for longer walks, the train station is only 10 minutes away. It was two of us in the apartment, and while it’s more of an intimate space, it ended up being more than enough room for us. Stéphanie has set up the apartment so well, we never felt any regret in choosing her home. The views are spectacular and we spent so much time just appreciating the views from her home.

The apt is just as pictured and described. So charming and so French! It was actually a bit better than described as there was a washer AND a dryer which we used twice. The location is amazing — you can walk just about anywhere. In fact, we reached 30k steps in one day. It’s also so quiet at night and we slept so well. Hard to believe you’re in the middle of a city! The only negatives were not ably the apt but about the management, as we did not have any written instructions so had to keep messaging the host. It was our first time in an Airbnb without a manual, so we struggled with the washer, the dryer, and the dishwasher. Also, one of the bathroom sinks was clogged upon arrival, there was only 1 laundry soap pod, and barely any paper towels. It would be better if the cleaning staff could make sure all the supplies were replenished and everything was working before each guest arrived. The stairs are a challenge when first carrying bags up but the host was nice enough to help us!

We had a lovely time at Stephane's place, he and Samira, who let us in, were very helpful and friendly. The bedroom was quiet and the bed very comfortable in a firm way. there was plenty of storage and everything you could need in the kitchen. Just a short walk from Jules Joffrin & Lamark Culaincourt metro stops and up the hill into Montmartre it's self. Supermarket a couple of doors down the street was well stocked with healthy and good quality French food and wines.

We had a wonderful 5 days at the apartment. Luis and Gregory were very flexible and communicative. The apartment was very clean! there is a lot of natural light. We spent a lot of time on the little balcony because the weather was absolutely perfect. It's a very lively neighborhood. There are bakeries, a wine shop, chocolate shop, fish monger, and cheese shop right across the street. There aren't any major tourist sights in the Marais, so it's less congested than other parts of the city and it has it's own special vibe. We felt very safe there. It's a quick walk to the Seine and Notre Dame. The highlight of the trip was a canal boat tour that lead to the Seine. I highly recommend this adorable apartment!

Your guide to Paris
All About Paris
The thumping heart of France, Paris is one the world’s great cities, beloved as much for its historical boulevards and world-class museums as its iconic bakeries and boutiques. Join the locals in line for freshly baked baguettes at the ivy-covered boulangeries of Le Marais, then wind down with a chocolat chaud at one of the city’s famous corner cafes. Visitors are drawn to Paris’ literary heritage, where antique bookstores and poetry performances abound, while food lovers are well served by a mix of traditional brasseries, chef-driven restaurants, and innovative under-the-radar hotspots.
Running through the heart of Paris, the river Seine provides a scenic backdrop for quayside picnics and a sought-after spot to cool off during the summer Paris Plages event. The city is world-renowned for its shopping, from the homey kitchenware stores on Rue Montorgueil to the historic fashion houses of Rue Cambon. Shoppers should be on the lookout for bargains during the twice-yearly sales (les soldes) in January-February and June-July. And for a tranquil start to an action-packed day, join in with a tai chi session among the famous topiary hedges of the Jardin des Tuileries.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Paris
An ideal time to book a vacation rental in Paris is in spring, when the city’s gardens are in full bloom and the cafés are bustling. From June through August, temperatures spike and there are long days of sunshine, drawing locals out onto the banks of the Seine. Paris boasts a packed program of summer events, including Bastille Day, Fête de la Musique, and the exciting final stage of an iconic bicycle race.
Occasionally uncomfortably high temperatures and busier streets are countered with beaches built along the river as part of the popular Paris Plages event, live music performances, and open-air movies. Fall is also a popular time to visit, with crisp days and eye-popping foliage in the city’s green spaces. Winter can be cold and gray, but the moody weather adds an element of mystery to the city, which tends to be quieter from November to February. It rarely snows in Paris.
Top things to do in Paris
Musée d'Orsay
Paris has more than 100 museums, but arguably the most beautiful is the Musée d'Orsay, which is housed in a stunning old Beaux-Arts railway. The art on display is by renowned French artists — including famous works by the Impressionists as well as changing special exhibitions. Enjoy a stroll along the Left Bank of the Seine to take in the city views before or after visiting.
Jardin des Tuileries
Once the garden of the Tuileries Palace, the Jardin des Tuileries opened to the public after the French Revolution. Explore these manicured gardens after visiting the nearby Louvre and taking a stroll around Place de la Concorde, the largest square in Paris. Pick up a delicate crêpe from one of the carts and settle down on a bench to do some people-watching.
Palais Garnier
Take in a classic opera, avant-garde ballet, or one of the many other performances staged at this historic venue. Built in 1875 at the request of the emperor, Palais Garnier is viewed by many as one of the most opulent opera houses in the world, with a breathtaking grand staircase, swathes of ruby velvet, and glittering chandeliers aplenty.
