Relaxation Room - Back INN Time

SamanthaRating, 5 stars29 months ago
A very comfortable bed and breakfast in a sleepy coastal town. My mom and I stayed here for one night before catching the ferry to Tangier. The room was well-sized with a small private bath. Breakfast in the morning was thoughtful, tasty and served with a side of good conversation.

Aldrich House B&B Anderson Room

MadisonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We throughly enjoyed our stay with Thomas at the Aldrich House. It was our first BnB experience and was definitely nervous but all that was eased quickly. Thomas was kind, understanding and flexible when we had a sudden change in our trip. His Wife, Sue, so warmly welcomed us in when we arrived making us feel comfortable and right at home. Breakfast was stellar each morning and enjoyed the complimentary history of the area. We will definitely be back to this absolutely perfect stay!

Romance Room - Back INN Time

KarinRating, 5 stars21 months ago
Lisette was immediately available to meet us when we arrived. Our room was ready and in nice shape. This is our second stay at the B&B. Her Breakfasts are amazing - she always has a fresh fruit course, a main course and a sweet baked good. Yesterday was fresh pineapple with yogurt and granola, sauteed ham and eggs, glazed sweet role, coffee and juice. We did not go on our adventures hungry! Lisette and her husband made us feel like family and we enjoyed talking with them over breakfast. We will definitely be back. If you enjoy historic inns, this one will be a treat.

Private Suite in Historic home.

AngelaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
This was our second time staying at Cathy's beautiful home. We were thrilled that her place was available for our 6-day stay! Cathy is a terrific host and you have all the comforts of home! Cathy goes above and beyond to provide little extras. For example, she started us out with lots of breakfast items and snacks which lasted the majority of our stay. The kitchenette area has everything that you need to warm up food, as well as a nice eat-in area. We enjoy that we have the whole top floor ... with a large full bathroom, kitchenette and laundry area. We were able to do a load of laundry before we packed to travel home. The bed is comfortable, with extra pillows in the closet. The room is very large and perfect for a long stay. Each evening we walked over to the water. The area is safe and was beautiful .... all decorated for Christmas. We also walked to several places to do some shopping. I highly recommend this location and Cathy's home!

Inspiration Room - Back INN Time

JorgeRating, 5 stars13 months ago
We had a lovely visit to Back INN Time. The hosts were friendly and made our stay wonderful. We were greeted with freshly baked cookies and enjoyed a very well-appointed room with an en suite bathroom, luxurious thread count sheets, and other nice touches like chocolates and a magnifying makeup mirror by the sink. The breakfast was indescribably amazing. Absolutely one of the best breakfasts I can ever remember having at a bed-and-breakfast. The location was easily accessible to the center of Kilmarnock. We would definitely return.

Williamsburg Manor - Russel House Green Room

SaraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved staying at Laura’s place. Laura was very responsive and friendly. The house was well appointed and had a nice colonial vibe. The community spaces were cozy and clean. The breakfast was phenomenal, fresh eggs and muffins and plenty of coffee and tea options. We met some of the other guests at breakfast and it was fun to chat with them. My one complaint is that the mattress and pillows were not very confortable but even with that we really enjoyed our stay.

Williamsburg Sampler B&B - Entire Home

AlyceRating, 5 stars17 months ago
We stayed at the Sampler for a bachelorette weekend with 9 people, and it was a wonderful experience. The place was bursting with character (and somehow all of the decor was not dusty!), parking was easy, outdoor space was lovely, plenty of space for our party (bedrooms and common rooms), walk into town was ~20 minutes and sidewalks the whole way, plus walking across campus was beautiful. But the best part was Stephanie and being woken up by delicious-smelling breakfast each morning! Note: There is a tenant who lives upstairs and one in the back carriage house, so it wasn't completely private, but we had no issue whatsoever, everyone was friendly and we felt comfortable making ourselves at home.

Wyatt House - peace and quiet in the country

SpenserRating, 5 stars15 months ago
I would highly recommend the Wyatt House. Our host, Lynn, was very sweet, knew a lot about the area, and gave great suggestions on where to go and eat. She was very accommodating for us, providing additional flexibility so that we could make sure we had our 21-month-old son clean and fed before we left for the long car ride home.

Bed & Breakfast EcoLodge Eastern Shore, VA

MadeleineRating, 5 stars40 months ago
David's place is absolutely magical! The home is lived-in with not many frills, but very comfortable and has everything you need. David is super sweet and loving, happy to hang out or let you have your space, and an amazing teacher for paddling and staying safe while doing it. Breakfast is a simple cereal bar with coffee and juice and fruit. We did not mind being vegetarian in the home at all, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook whatever you please, though you might want to bring in groceries from the mainland if you have any dietary restrictions. But the real star of the show is the incredible outdoor space: private, remote, full of beautiful birds and gorgeous sunsets over the water. Having coffee in the morning on the dock and planning whether my mom and I would use a kayak or canoe to paddle out to the little inlet with the swimming hole? Heaven. Oh yes, and Poppi the cat is one of the cutest this cat-lover has ever seen. He's sort of like a little black goat, hopping around and wagging his half-tail (he's a survivor from a bird attack when he was a kitten)! This is a place for people who love nature and animals, with a cute town for a little nightlife and public concerts and pool options and seafood restaurants a short drive away.
