Great Location - Cozy Apartment - Free Parking

MargaritaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
we were happy staying at Clements's place. The apartment is clean, the building is located very close to grocery store, restaurants and not so far from museums and opera house. We used public transportation just couple of times. The center of the city is about 20 minutes walking distance. Uber was also not expensive to use.

Cosy, quiet 2-room apartment near the center

IrakliRating, 5 stars4 days ago
A cozy, clean and comfortable apartment in a safe and peaceful neighborhood with easy access to public transportation. Thomas provided clear instructions for check-in and additional recommendations for transportation and shopping were a welcome touch. The apartment is in inner courtyard and is very quiet, with comfortable bedding provided in the flat you can have a great sleep and rest. The center is quite close if you enjoy walking, or you can take a tram from nearby station. Highly recommended, will definitely book for my next visit if available.

The place was great. Sadly we just stayed one night so we couldn't really enjoy it. The communication was perfect. All necessary information we got up front without even asking. We couldn't ask for more ;)

Sissis garden shed: distance green retreat carport

TobiasRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a very nice stay at Alexander's place. The house is comfortably furnished, offers plenty of space including a beautiful garden and is located in a nice residential area on the outskirts of town. This has the advantage that you are super fast in the countryside. The Lainzer Tiergarten is within walking distance. Alexander and Agnes were very friendly hosts and had many excursion tips for us. We highly recommend the place.

Small cozy house on the outskirts of Vienna

Alan DouglasRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The hosts, Sylvia and Kurt, are kind and very helpful. Things that we especially liked about the property were : - it is in a really peaceful location - the terrace has a nice outlook over gardens towards the forest, and gets the sun from early morning to late afternoon - so relaxing! - it is only a short distance from the house to paths through the forest, which are great for walking/running/mountain biking Besides going to Vienna (15 minute drive to Liesing Park and Ride, and then 20 minutes on the S Bahn directly into the city centre), other things that we enjoyed were visiting Tulln (from where we walked along the banks of the Danube), and Baden Bei Wien (for parks and walks into the surrounding countryside). A great property, and we will definitely be back !

Whole house in the green paradise and yet in Vienna

JudithRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Even though we arrived 2 hours early, it was no problem to already go into the cottage. Klaus was still present and also gave us some tips for public transport in Vienna and showed us the house. One of the travel companions had also forgotten something and this was neatly resolved together with Klaus. Furthermore, a great house in a quiet suburb of Vienna and within 45 minutes you are in the city center by public transport and within walking distance you can walk into the woods.

We enjoyed our stay at Angela's place. Great location if you're looking for something a bit further away from the bustle of the city, but still want to take day trips into or around Vienna. The pool was an awesome addition to cool down on the very hot days we had while traveling:)

Roof top studio with city view and 2 terraces , AC

Olga’s place is very well equipped, quiet, and comfortable. There are tram stations, S-bahn, and bus stations close by making it easy to get to from Vienna public transportation. Olga was timely in her responses and gave excellent instructions for meeting her to get the key and checkin. The bed was comfortable and having 2 patios to look at the city was awesome. Her location is great as it’s not far away from the city center and also has a couple of restaurants and big grocery store nearby. There’s also playgrounds around the apartment buildings with many kids playing giving it a nice safe great place for families as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Living in the Palais near the Belvedere

KimRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
For me this place was perfect. It's just about a quarter mile to the tram that takes you into town or if you want to walk into town, it's probably twenty to thirty minutes into the center. It's very roomy and has nice tall.Ceilings and big windows. there are just a few steps up to a tiny elevator but perfect for taking your luggage up two flights of stairs. it's quite secure. There are three locked doors to go through before you get to the apartment. and even though it was so close to town, it was very quiet, which I loved.

The Vienna apartment location is excellent! The kitchen is well stocked, the space is clean and cheerful, and the bedrooms charming. Easy walk to the hustle and bustle of the city centre, yet nice and quiet inside. We looked forward to coming back to the apartment after each day, and the lift was an added bonus. We had good communication with Alp prior to our arrival, and we were warmly greeted by Ali. We highly recommend - 10/10! ♥️

Great, light-filled top-floor apartment in the quiet university neighborhood. Perfect for a couple. Old town and the museum district are just a 20-minute walk away. The host, Leon, offers printed walking tours you can follow and the apartment features lots of additional local info. The bathroom is fantastic and the bed quiet comfy. It was the right choice for our 6-night stay in Vienna.

Your guide to Vienna

All About Vienna

A city brimming with culture and history, Vienna is home to stately buildings, beautiful gardens, and more than 100 museums, with classical music at its heart. Austria’s capital gave birth to the world’s greatest composers, and today the Viennese Philharmonic and the Vienna Symphonic Orchestra are among the most famous musical ensembles that call this city home. The city stages more than 15,000 musical events every year, with concerts and operas to enjoy almost every day of the week.

The city’s most impressive buildings include Schönbrunn Palace, the lavish former royal residence; Hofburg Palace, the largest palace complex in the world; and the opulent St. Stephen’s Cathedral. At the Kunsthistorisches Museum, you can see the world’s richest coin collection, while the Leopold Museum is Vienna’s finest art museum, and the MUMOK offers one of Europe’s most extensive contemporary art collections.

Along with music and culture, drinking good coffee in a traditional coffee house is an important part of everyday life in Vienna. Local favorites include a Wiener Melange (similar to a cappuccino) or a Mozart Café — a double espresso with whipped cream and sherry brandy. The Viennese believe that coffee is best enjoyed with a pastry, like an apple strudel, a Sacher torte (a Viennese chocolate cake), or a Kaiserschmarrn (a fluffy shredded pancake).

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Vienna

Summer is a great time to secure a vacation rental in Vienna when the days are warm and sunny and the nights are mild, perfect for enjoying outdoor dining at the city’s many restaurants and cafes. The main square in front of the Rathaus turns into a gourmet street food market and outdoor cinema with events all summer long. The weather is still generally pleasant in fall, and the changing colors in the Schönbrunn Gardens are spectacular.

The Wiesn — Vienna’s Oktoberfest — kicks off in late September with plenty of events around town. The weather can be changeable in spring, with cool, rainy days mixed with sunny spells. Vienna is a magical place to be in winter, with snow on the ground, beautifully decorated streets, and traditional Christmas markets, which have been held in the city since the 17th century. There’s also the popular outdoor ice-skating rink and the city’s famous New Year’s Eve ball. It can get very cold, though, so make sure you bring plenty of layers.

Top things to do in Vienna

Schönbrunn Palace

This former royal summer residence is a UNESCO World Heritage site of cultural importance. Dating back to the 17th century, it boasts an extravagant 1,441 rooms, and a tour inside allows you to visit 45 lavishly furnished interiors befitting Austrian royalty. Outside, the sprawling palace grounds offer beautiful gardens with rows of flowers, a hedge maze, and the Neptune Fountain. The Gloriette, which is situated high above, offers amazing views of the entire palace complex and beyond.

St. Stephen’s Cathedral

Built in the 12th century, this immense Gothic Cathedral is the most important church in Austria. The impressive baroque interior houses many treasures, including priceless jewels and holy books, as well as the tombs of Viennese luminaries. When inside, look up and notice the intricately patterned main roof with hundreds of colored tiles. You can climb the 343 steps to the top of its tower, where you’ll be rewarded with amazing views of the city.

Wurstelprater

A visit to this historic amusement park is free, and here you can ride its iconic landmark — the 213-foot-high Wiener Riesenrad — one of the oldest Ferris wheels in the world, for a fee. You’ll enjoy beautiful views of the city and the River Danube as you reach the top, with many other rides, games, and attractions, including a waxworks display. There are also food stalls and a famous traditional Viennese restaurant that’s known for its pork knuckles.
