Charming, rustic & well equipped garden cottage

HeatherRating, 5 stars4 days ago
stayed for 3 nights whilst exploring the area. the cottage was great & very peaceful with beautiful surroundings. We loved the cost log burner and hot tub, which was a great size, very clean and private. kitchen had everything we could have needed and more. we didn't get chance to use the bath, but thought it was a lovely feature. The bed was lovely and big, we did struggle to get comfy with the Pillows, but nothing major. We explored the grounds and chatted to the friendly gardener who told us about the history of the house etc. Would definitely recommend for a cosy few days in Scotland.

We had a lovely few days here exploring the area. The lodge was immaculate and had everything we needed, with some thoughtful extra touches. The site itself was peaceful and really well looked after, and with beautiful views. We loved the pool and hot tub. We wouldn't hesitate to go back. Thank you!

Lodge at Eastwood: private cottage for 2-4 guests

RhonaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Absolutely beautiful cottage. Although you’re literally 2 mins from a main road and near the golf course it feels so isolated and peaceful around the cottage- it’s wonderful. The kids had a great time spotting wildlife in the garden/wooded area including a deer, lots of red squirrels and beautiful birds. Well equipped kitchen with some cupboard essentials left which is always nice. Comfortable beds and furniture. Was cold at the time of year we visited but the cottage heats up quickly with the heating on and was soon lovely and cosy. We’d been made aware the water pressure isn’t great, which it isn’t, but we just left extra time accordingly to run baths etc and it was worth it- gorgeous vintage bath so deep, long and piping hot! Was worth the wait. Great communication from Ashley throughout and really smooth check in and out. We loved the quirky vintage details like the bathroom and the old telephone! Would happily stay here again.

Gean Tree Cottage, Fingask Castle, Rait, Perth

JenniferRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I thoroghly enjoyed our stay at Gean tree cottage and my dog Jack absolutely loved it! The cottage is as described, perfectly clean, comfortable, toasty warm and the kitchen is well stocked with equipment etc. It's also quite private too so no noise at all. The garden area is huge and well kept so lots of space for dog zoomies. The castle estate has lots of area to explore with swimming pool, games room, gardens, walled kitchen garden, lake, boat house, orchard, so much more! The welcome pack contains lots of information and a map of the estate to help you find your way around. There's EV chargers on the estate now too with a 22kw charger just a 2 minute walk from Gean Tree cottage which is very useful for overnight charging. The staff are very helpful and friendly with information before arrival (and helping my wayward pooch find his way back when he wandered too far 🤦‍♀️). Highly recommended and would love to visit again. Thank you! Jen & Jack

Iconic Beach-Front Fisherman’s Cottage

TinaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at Fay’s. The cottage is very well equipped, comfortable, spacious but homely & in a great location with wonderful views. Parking was no problem at all. Enjoyed the local farm shops. It was so convenient for St. Andrews, which was important to us, as we were visiting for the women’s Open. We’d love to stay again, next time we’re in the area & would thoroughly recommend this cottage.

Beech Tree Cottage, Fingask Castle, Rait

MaryRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This review is based on our time at Sir Stuart House, where we stayed instead of Beech Tree Cottage. It was an excellent experience; they were very good about communication: responsive and accommodating. The location is beautiful. We had plans in the area and I had to leave before other members of our party, but I'd highly recommend allowing time to really enjoy the grounds. It's peaceful, quiet, was perfect for us.

Idyllic B&B in the Fife Lomond Hills

AliceRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a really lovely stay. Both bedrooms are tastefully decorated, spacious and had everything you needed. You can really tell that thought and effort has been put into every aspect of creating the space, different charger leads provided, a coffee machine, good size TVs etc. The breakfasts provided were delicious and varied and Greg (Vanessa was away) was a lovely host who welcomed us but also left us to it once we were checked in and was not obtrusive so it still felt like a private stay. A lovely garden for the dogs too. Thanks so much, we loved it 😊

Fife Cottage between St Andrews and Dundee

LouiseRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely stay at Kims cottage. Everything that we could have needed and more. Perfectly located in the heart of Tayport, with several shops within a stones throw and a great cafe with coffee and homebakes only a minute walk - “One two three cup of tea”. Beautiful bedding, plenty of towels and the upstairs bedroom with tv sitting area was a big hit! Thanks kim, we loved our stay!

Charming, vintage style cottage with free parking

RyanRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Katy and Geoff were fantastic hosts, very communicative which made the entire process an absolute breeze and genuinely friendly There was a very useful welcome pack which detailed the entire use of the cottage as well as local recommendations for restaurants/groceries/attractions The cottage is very well located, on a peaceful small road, within walking distance of local amenities, and easy driving distance to Falkland/St Andrew’s/Cupar The cottage was clean, comfortable, surprisingly spacious, and had everything we could want, the log fire was a cozy bonus and easy to operate We use Airbnb a lot and I don’t think we’ve come across nicer hosts, well worth the money and we’ll be returning on our next trip to Scotland 🙂 Thanks again Rye, Zoe, and Harris

MarionRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Location is amazing, sea views outstanding. Wee outside table was brilliant as able to sit in the sun and watch the waves. House was so homely and comfortable, we settled in immediately. Val was very responsive to questions and left us a lovely welcome pack which was entirely unexpected. St Monans was a lovely wee village and we will definitely re visit

Cosy cottage situated between St Monans & Elie

ChristopherRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Possibly the best cottage stay we’ve done in terms of location. Short walk which takes you right onto the Fife coast and access to multiple natural beaches in a matter of minutes. St Monan’s and Pittenweem a short walk away, and Elie and Anstruther a little bit further, but well worth the walks down the coast. Enough pubs and restaurants around and a large Co-Op 10 minutes drive away, plus Bowhouse just across the road and Andross farm shop a decent walk down the coast or 5 minute drive. The cottage itself is lovely, plenty of space and comfortable furniture. Others have mentioned the proximity to the road but that didn’t bother us much at all - might be a problem for those that want total quiet. Thanks Chris

The Coach House Stables

BrianRating, 5 stars4 days ago
A comfortable, stylish, characterful, restful wee home (with everything a couple would need). Located on a peaceful, quiet street just off the main road, with short walks to all the local facilities and the bus stops for the half-hourly Edinburgh to North Berwick buses (very handy for visiting a large number of places should you not want to drive). This area is chock-full of golf courses, beaches, wildlife, historic houses, gardens, galleries, museums, crafts people and great places to eat and shop - you won't be short of things to do! Fiona is a great host. If you need help she is there to assist. If you want info about places to eat out, or places to visit, she is happy to provide some local knowledge. But if you want to be left to your own devices, she is just as happy to leave you be. On the days of check in/out, she makes a point of contacting visitors to advise of the earliest they can arrive or depart (often giving an hour or more than her listing advises). Why not book?
