4.67 out of 5 average rating, 9 reviewsCozy & Elegant Private Studio Apartment Unit
Leon’s place is amazing! You just get what you see. It was so easy for us to check in and check out since no face to face interaction is needed. It’s also in Little India which provided us tons of restaurant options. It’s probably 7/8 mins away from the nearest MRT station (farrer) and there’s a near bus stop (131) which is 2 min walk from the place. For its price, it is definitely worth it.

Beautiful island and very quiet, the beach for us alone. Very functional amenities. We forgot something in it when we left the staff kindly brought it back to Marina South Pier, the pier. You are very comfortable in the Rony house. For the kitchen the barbecue plancha is great. We had a nice stay and we will gladly come back with the family

It’s was a very cosy stay!! Initially I read thru those review and I hesitate whether should I proceed with the booking? In the end I went on to proceed with 1 night stay. We brought a lot of things with us of cos but when we got there I realised that owner did read thru those review and try to make amendments to it! Example Hooga diffuser in the toilet, mosquito coil outside container etc!! Enjoy this stay and we will be back again when a short getaway is needed!! Thank you for hosting!

4.86 out of 5 average rating, 7 reviewsBamboo Suite @ Gardens by the Bay
We had the Bamboo suite at Garden Pods. The space was exactly as described, windows everywhere and nicely screened by bamboo. And wonderful AC which we sorely needed after each outing. The location was wonderful for going to the Supertree Grove and to the Spectra light and water show. Taxis did have trouble going to the right place so be careful. If you want city life, book something different. If you prefer a little peace and quiet and don’t mind a short taxi or 20-minute walk the this space is great. I would recommend it and would definitely stay again. Lorraine’s responses were timely and helpful.

4.81 out of 5 average rating, 21 reviewsMaple Suite @ Gardens by the Bay
A great place to stay, quiet, pristine and peaceful set amongst the gardens by the bay yet 500 metres to the city of Singapore. Great accomodation that suited the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 adult children) clean, cool and all the amenities required. Lorraine was very approachable with great insights of where to go/see/eat. She went over and above to look after us when an issue arose at home. We wish we could have stayed longer but I guess that gives us an excuse to come back right? Thanks Lorraine for a wonderful experience that we wish to extend by returning again in the future. regards John and Jodi

4.8 out of 5 average rating, 25 reviewsCozy Studio Sky Suite Apt with WiFi in Kallang
Bob and his team are amazing. The time I stayed at this service apartment, they made me feel more home and easy with everything. I am grateful for their effort and care. I am willing to stay there again therefore. Only downside was the location but still manageable since the bus stop to the city central is right in front of the apartment. In fact, I felt very calm and relaxing myself staying the area since it was out of all the hassles from the city scene but still close enough to commute.
Serviced apartment in Singapore
4.8 out of 5 average rating, 25 reviewsFurnished CBD Serviced Studio w MRT
The apartment is very well equipped. It has a big wardrobe and several drawers. Thus, it is also super suitable for a longer stay. In the immediate vicinity there are bakeries where you can get your breakfast at a reasonable price. A small Hawker Center is also just a few steps away, where many locals enjoy the delicious food. We traveled exclusively by public transport. Several bus stops are not far from the apartment.

Cathy was very accommodating, friendly and responsive. Our room was very clean and room service was much appreciated. The accommodation was in a great position for a short walk to Little India or Novena, both with shops and cafes. Catching public transport, either the bus or train were both nearby and very convenient. We had an amazing holiday! Thank you!

The room is very well located, very close to the subway station, easy to get around, the room is very clean, all kinds of items are fully equipped, and the landlord is very attentive. But the water will come out when you take a bath in the bathroom and it is easy to slip, which is not good.If the room is cheaper, it's perfect haha
Your guide to Singapore
Welcome to Singapore
Viewed as a country, Singapore is tiny — just 281 square miles of islands off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula. When you're inside this city state, however, it can feel expansive: a fertile juxtaposition of urban and tropical, where futuristic skyscrapers tower over stands of old-growth forest. This economic powerhouse has been a regional trading post since the 15th century, at least, and a British colony for 144 years. Over the past 500 years, Singapore evolved into one of Asia’s most diverse cities, where the free-flowing cultural exchange among residents of Malay, Indian, Chinese, and Peranakan (Straits Chinese) heritage has created a distinct Singaporean identity.
Your trip can be as urbane or as escapist as you choose. Perhaps you’ll approach the city as a playground, taking the cable car to Sentosa, a beachfront garden of delights south of the main city. Or you’ll spend your afternoons shopping in the swank department stores of Orchard Road and the bustling shops of Chinatown and Little India. Or wake up early to wander through the placidly stunning Singapore Botanic Gardens or the MacRitchie Reservoir, where an elevated path wends through the treetops.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Singapore
Located just north of the equator, Singapore is dependably hot all year long, with daily temperatures fluctuating between the 70s and 90s Fahrenheit. The island’s tropical climate is dependably humid and wet as well — only the intensity of the wetness changes. The northeast monsoon season, from November through January, brings the most and the heaviest rains. During other times of year, expect sunny days interrupted by short-lived rainstorms. Along with your rain gear, pack a few light layers, since Singaporeans embrace the cool comforts of air conditioning.
There is no one best time of year to visit the country. In fact, there are many. Festivals enliven Singapore throughout the year, including Lunar New Year in February or March; Deepavali, or the Indian festival of lights, in October; Hari Raya Puasa, marking the end of Ramadan; and many weeks of Christmas festivities. To these religious celebrations, add cultural events such as the M1 Fringe Festival in January, the International Film Festival in April, and the Great Sale, a shopping extravaganza, in the summer.
Top things to do in Singapore
Hawker Centers
Singaporeans are passionate about their cuisine, which reflects the country’s glorious cultural diversity. While you can find some of Asia’s fanciest restaurants here, you’ll eat majestically at the city's hawker centers — food courts where many vendors have devoted their career to mastering a dish, whether it’s Hainanese chicken rice, laksa (brothy noodles), biryani, chili crab, or grilled satay. When it comes to sheer atmosphere, the Victorian-era Lau Pa Sat Hawker Centre competes only with the Chinatown Food Street. You really could spend your entire trip eating. If you want to engage in conversation with a local, ask them which hawker center you should visit next.
Marina Bay
If you’re traveling to Singapore with your family, you’ll find the densest concentration of kid-friendly activities in this upscale neighborhood on the southern coast, including the famed Merlion Statue, the massive Singapore Flyer observation wheel, the ArtScience museum, and Gardens by the Bay, whose architecture is as spectacular as its vast collection of indoor flora (don’t miss the cool, misty Cloud Forest). Stick around after nightfall for the daily light displays.
Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve
It’s still possible to find pockets of Singapore where you can leave the concrete and steel behind to take in the eternal Singapore — a lush tropical forest on the edge of the Indian Ocean. It will take you an hour from the center of town to reach this 200-acre wetland reserve on the island’s northeast coast, where you can wander along boardwalks through the mangrove swamps or camp out behind an observation blind to admire the monkeys and 160 species of birds who live here.
