Eva’s place could not have been more perfect for our 25th anniversary celebration trip. A beautiful apartment that is located close to everything and yet is quiet and peaceful. Just a two minute walk to Charles bridge and only a one minute walk to a square that has many excellent restaurants and a lovely farmers market every Thursday. The apartment is spacious with beautiful high wood ceilings and Eva is a super friendly and responsive host. We could not have picked a better place and will definitely plan to come back! Thanks Eva!!

Stayed at Barboras place for a long weekend in Prague. From booking had very clear instructions and help with even offering to book transfers for my group. Check in was easy at the cafe at the bottom of the stairs. Beautiful rooms and very clean. Would 100% recommend anyone staying in Prague to look at this place. Around 5 minutes walk to the centre and Prague is beautiful!

The flat was located in a very nice building with few Airbnb, so very calm place. Just across the bridge, you arrive in the commercial and festive city centre. You can cross the bridge by walking or take the tramway. The tramway station is a few meters away and many lines reach easily to all important places, mots Times without needing transfers.

Sarah's place was absolutely fantastic. Such a peaceful, quiet hideaway in the perfect location to explore Prague. The flat had everything we could have wished for, and our hosts were really good at communicating- super proactive, always quick to respond, and left us lots of recommendations. We would absolutely stay here again.

This apartment was fantastic. Lots of space and really clean. The building has a 24 hour security person controlling access to the building so everything was really secure. The location is really close to several tram/bus stops so getting around the city was really easy and fast. We could pretty much get anywhere within about 15-25 minutes....even all the way up to Prague Castle. We would 100% stay here again if we make it back to Prague in the future.

I only stayed a for one night at Milada’s place but can only recommend it. The apartment is very centrally located but also very quiet (the best of both worlds!). Milada was a very kind host and was always responsive. Once you enter the building the apartment is somewhat difficult to find, but Milada gives very clear instructions. If I come to Prague again I would definitely stay here for a second time.!

Viki’s place is amazing. The location is outstanding: There are multiple restaurants within steps of the condo and many more only a short walk away. The condo itself is gorgeous, spacious, squeaky clean and comfortable. Viki started communicating early, sending a well-curated list of local recommendations soon after I booked the place. It’s easy to get from Viki’s place to the city center on foot. I would stay here again!

Our stay at this apartment in Prague was simply fantastic! The location is perfect – central yet quiet, with many restaurants and cafes in close proximity. The center is about a 30-minute walk away and there are plenty of opportunities for public transport nearby. The apartment itself is stylishly furnished, very clean and offers all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. We were particularly enthusiastic about the small details that made the stay so special, such as the well-equipped kitchen and the very comfortable bed. Filip was extremely kind and helpful, always available. We would definitely come back and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to visit Prague. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality!

The host was really warm and welcoming. The place was also at a very good location and most of the attractions were at walkable distance. it is at the heart of the city. The host also surprised us with a freshly baked cake which we really enjoyed and it shows how they care for the guests and try to feel them welcoming. I would highly recommend this place.

Your guide to Prague
All About Prague
With the picturesque Vltava River running through its heart and Prague Castle overlooking its architecturally significant buildings, bridges, and expansive town square, Prague is one of Europe’s most distinctive cities. Although it is known as “the city of a hundred spires,” almost a thousand towers and spires actually rise from the spectacular mix of Baroque, Gothic, and Renaissance buildings in Czechia’s capital.
A wander through Old Town Square will pass the Gothic Church of Our Lady Before Týn and the medieval Astronomical Clock, along with an array of open-air cafes and restaurants. You can walk up to the imposing Prague Castle, where the Schwarzenberg Palace showcases Renaissance architecture at its best, and head across the medieval Charles Bridge, where you’ll find 30 striking Baroque statues of the saints as well as dramatic views of the city.
Prague is also famous for producing some of the world’s finest beers, and the city is full of pubs and beer gardens where you can sample local pilsners and enjoy popular Czech snacks like nakládaný hermelín — pickled cheese served with bread.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Prague
Summer is a great time to stay at a vacation rental in Prague. From June through August, you can expect comfortably hot and sunny days, but the nights can be cooler, and Prague’s weather can be changeable, so it’s a good idea to pack a jacket with your sunscreen. In spring, the weather is mostly mild, and Prague comes to life with major events like the Prague Food Festival in April and the Czech Beer Festival in May, where you can try hundreds of beers accompanied by live music. In the fall, cooler temperatures prevail. The temperatures drop below freezing and generally stay there in December and January, and snow collects on the rooftops, making winter a magical time to wander around town. Like most of Central Europe, Prague can get bitterly cold, so bring a windproof coat as well as a scarf, gloves, and a warm hat. The famous Christmas markets in Old Town Square start at the end of November and run until January.
Top things to do in Prague
Prague Castle
Overlooking the city, Prague Castle sits inside the largest castle complex in the world. Built in the ninth century, the castle is surrounded by the gothic St. Vitus Cathedral, defense towers, museums, the Presidential Palace, and Golden Lane — a street full of colorful houses where the castle guards once lived and which today are filled with souvenir shops and exhibitions. The Daliborka Tower, the castle’s prison until the late 18th century, was named after its first prisoner.
Astronomical Clock
In Old Town Square, you’ll find the oldest clock of its kind still operating. Built in 1410, this remarkable clock not only tells the time, it also shows the months and the astronomical position of the sun and moon. It’s ornately decorated with Gothic sculptures and wooden statues of the 12 apostles, and if you’re there on the hour, you’ll see the apostles put on a show.
Petřín Lookout Tower
The Petřín Lookout Tower is one of Prague’s most striking landmarks. Built in 1891 for the city’s Jubilee Exhibition, it was inspired by the Eiffel Tower and, when you see it, you’ll notice that it’s even the same height. Once you climb the 299 steps to the top, you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views of the city.
