4.95 out of 5 average rating, 149 reviewsSunny apartment city center (Avenida da Liberdade)
A lovely apartment! Everything was exactly as described. Ana Marta is an excellent host, very helpful and friendly. The location is good, close to metro stations, but it is up a steep hill and steep steps so isn't suitable for anyone with mobility issues - not a problem for us though! The apartment is nicely furnished, and incredibly well equipped. I'd highly recommend staying here!

Lovely apartment in a central location, Diogo was a great communicator and we enjoyed our stay Only thing that I would point out ( and another reviewer has already said this)- the bed is very firm, too firm for me, but I know that is a matter of taste Thanks Diogo, loved Lisbon!

This is a beautiful apartment - even more lovely than the photos. It’s quiet and serene. We swam every day after we explored Lisboa - it was so refreshing. Bruno met us at the apartment and went through the operation of AC, fan, lights, the safe and the entry/exit locking system. I highly recommend this apartment - it is the absolutely best one we’ve experienced yet.

Great Place. I am 6'2" 230 pounds and even with the space being small, I had no problem negotiating some of the tighter spaces. Easily walkable to major sites and to transportation. Quiet and beautiful setup.

This place is truly a gem! We felt right at home in the middle of Lisboa. It’s a well located, confortable, clean and homy space right in the heart of the city. We couldn’t have hoped for a better accommodation. That being said, the real highlight was how welcoming and caring our host, Filipa, was. The personalized checking was a 5++ stars experience with little treats, toys for our little one and flexible arrangements. Be sure to book this place when available!

Lovely apartment in a quiet neighbourhood, great public transport connections to get where you need to go and a perfect space to come back to after a busy day exploring this wonderful city. The host Maria was very helpful and accommodating from the moment we booked our stay, always available for any questions we had, even helping us book a transfer from and to the airport to make our life easier. A great host, would definitely recommend. 😊

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. Dalila is one of the most accommodating hosts I’ve met, and made us feel very welcome from the start. The cottage is rustic yet modern with all you need for a coastal retreat. It was very special falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing. There’s also an excellent seafood restaurant less than 10 mins walk away. I’d definitely return!

My family of five loved staying at this house! It was beautifully furnished with art and item that had history and stories. The beds were super comfy and the outdoor patio was a joy! We walked to wonderful restaurants and to the waterfront everyday. Sofia was an excellent host and shared many options for us as we discovered Lisboa. Do yourself a favor and book a stay!

Lisa is a perfect host, so kind, positive and helpful. The accommodation is just as perfect as the host :) Really clean rooms, cute decorative items, everything needed for cooking, cleaning and shower, heating if you need, amazing views out of the windows over the famous sights, green lush garden and parking area. I felt almost like at home while staying there, and I rarely feel so at other people's homes. Lisa, danke nochmal für Ihre Gastfreundschaft!

Cristina’s place worked out perfectly, an ideal location for visiting the sites of Lisbon and close to Praca Comercio square. There are no steps or inclines leading up to the apartment. The Tagus River view is pretty and cruise ships can be seen docked from the windows. The apartment was very clean and well equipped with a lot of thought put into on what could be needed. Remote check in was smooth thanks to Cristina’s instructions. Cristina was very responsive to messages if we needed her. Lots of restaurants and small grocery stores within easy walking distance. We enjoyed our stay in the apartment and felt very much at home.

Mario was extremely quick and friendly in his communications - felt support from initial check in until check out. The space was beautiful. Quiet and peaceful yet so close to the action! Everything was walkable and so many food options within blocks! Loved it and would stay again! This was our first time to Lisbon and could not have found a more perfect fit for us in a place to call home for 4 days. As pictured - modern, great use of space and clean. Obrigado Mario!

Our stay in Lisbon began with meeting Filipe at the apartment. She was very friendly and helpful and provided the best guest book I have ever seen! The apartment was very clean and modern, with many extra amenities. The Principe Real neighborhood is beautiful and has many restaurants and shops that are close by. The Botanical Garden located two blocks from the apartment was a highlight of our time in Lisbon.

Great location. Very responsive and attentive host. Clear instructions and prompt communication throughout our entire stay. Place is lovely. Pros: 1. Open and spacious 2. Good value for money 3. Great central location. lot's of restaurants and attractions nearby 4. Comfy bed and clean linens/bed sheets 5. Washer and dryer combo in unit 6. Lovely kitchen 7. View of the city from the balcony is nice especially at night 8. Host is a pleasure to deal with 9. Accommodation for slightly early check in 10. Spacious shower Cons: 1. Some minor lighting issues. (flickering lights) 2. Some dishes where left from previous tenant 3. As others have mentioned, walk up the five flights of stairs could be difficult for people with mobility issues 4. A/C in bedroom wasn't working properly but main living room was so not really a big issue 5. Can get a bit loud on the weekends but the windows do a decent enough job to keep sound out All of these where minor issues and the host rectified most

Your guide to Lisbon
Welcome to Lisbon
The beautiful spectacle of Lisbon is perhaps best viewed from one of the seven hills the city is famous for. Climb to the top of one of these regal sentries and you’ll be rewarded with a panoramic perspective on one of the oldest cities in the world. Threaded with winding cobblestone alleys and walkways decorated with mosaic art, Portugal’s capital has accumulated layers of style over the years. You’ll find Gothic, Baroque, and postmodern architecture clustered here, among lush public gardens. One of Europe’s most important cities in terms of commerce and clout, it’s also a cultural powerhouse that boasts world-class museums such as the National Museum of Ancient Art. During the day the streets hum with the bustle of its vintage tram system, and sidewalk diners get their fill of fresh seafood hauled from the Atlantic. At night the city is popular with revelers who enjoy the view from the city’s many rooftop bars. As you make your way home at the end of a long, rewarding day, listen for the strains of fado music, a traditional genre of pretty, melancholic crooning set to lilting guitar.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Lisbon
Lisbon enjoys a Mediterranean climate, and it rarely experiences extreme weather. The summer is hot and dry, winter is cool, and spring and fall are mostly sunny with mild weather. No matter the season, there is usually something happening in Lisbon. In February the city celebrates Carnival with street parades featuring music, dance, and elaborate costumes. In May, bibliophiles rejoice when the Lisbon Book Fair kicks off and stalls selling best-sellers and antique wonders fill the walkways of Edward VII Park. In the summer, the Rock in Rio Lisboa festival brings big-name music acts to the city.
Top things to do in Lisbon
Estufa Fria
As you wander the lush walkways of Edward VII Park, make sure to stop at the Estufa Fria, a large and beautiful glass and steel hothouse where palms, ferns, and colorful flowers thrive among ponds and burbling water features appointed with graceful statues. The bustle of the city fades away as you traverse this indoor jungle, where little turtles cluster on the rocks.
National Coach Museum
Prepare to be awed at this wonderfully specific and expansive museum which documents life before rideshares. This more-than-a-century-old museum showcases vehicles from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries — such as ornate horse-drawn coaches.
Tram 28E
Visitors to Lisbon flock to this tram route for good reason: It traverses some of the city’s most scenic areas and makes stops at major sites along the way. Lisbon’s charming yellow and white electric trams began operation in 1901, and a ride on one is a must. Stops include Graça, often considered Lisbon’s prettiest hilltop lookout, and the Basilica da Estrela, one of the city’s most beautiful churches.
