Kasia worked great as a host. The home looks even better in person than in the photos. If you have any questions or a problem and no matter what time is Kasia will always help, when the opportunity is,🙂 I will come back with my family!

5 out of 5 average rating, 48 reviewsBeautiful house with a large garden under Krakow
I had an incredible stay at this homestay! The house is absolutely five-star – spacious, spotlessly clean, and located in a quiet neighborhood, making it perfect for a relaxing visit. The owner, Lidia, is so friendly and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, which was a huge plus. There's also a supermarket nearby for any essentials. The location is great, with both the city center and the airport just a 15-minute drive away. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back again. Thanks, Lidia!

The house is in a peaceful, green area but still close to Krakow, making it the perfect blend of convenience and relaxation. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and even a gym nearby. The house itself was well-equipped and beautifully designed. Our Hosts were super friendly and always ready to help—and they even had a lovely dog! Highly recommend this spot! :)

Home in Wieliczka
5 out of 5 average rating, 28 reviewsWieliczkaHome 1st floor + garden + parking
The property is absolutely recommended, beautiful and very tastefully decorated, fully equipped, there was nothing missing. Particularly noteworthy is the existing fully automatic coffee machine including coffee. The host is super nice and communicative, gives helpful tips for exploring the area and is reachable at short notice if necessary. The apartment is located just outside the city, within walking distance is a supermarket that is excellently equipped. Fresh bread, rolls, fruits and vegetables, fresh counter with sausage and cheese, so what your heart desires. The town of Wieliczka/ the salt mine/ the park with saline are really worth seeing and very well maintained. There are numerous excursion options in the immediate vicinity of the city. All in all a great stay.

Basia's apartment was great! Very clean, walkable to a lot of good food, activities, and parks; good amount of space, comfortable furniture, easy check in. The tv was great during some down time to relax. Great host! Also the elevator is extremely helpful. I would be happy to stay here again if I come back to Krakow.

The appt had a stunning view of the square! We booked the parking spot just across the street and that was perfect. There were earplugs provided, a sign that there would be a bit of noise expected, but it wasn't bad. We did close the windows and turned the aircon on and the street noise was bearable. We slept very well. Everything was extremely comfortable

Michal’s place was wonderful. It was beautifully located and he was very attentive to our needs. If this place is available for our next visit, we will definitely return! It was close to everything we wanted to see. The small details in this place make it even better. When it started to rain, there was an umbrella in the front closet. He even helped us arrange transportation from the airport. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Malgorzata's apartment was exactly as advertised. Cute and clean, it suited our needs. The location could not have been more perfect. Only a short walk from the train station which was great for visiting the Salt Mine and getting to and from the airport. It's also near lots of great cafes and within walking distance from the Old Town and Castle. We were very happy. Thank you for letting us stay here.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay & would definitely stay here again. Only 10/15min walk into the main square or around £5 for Uber taxi, quiet location, small supermarket, pharmacy and cake shop just round the corner. Inside absolutely spotless and as per the photos. Tomasz & Justyna were great hosts, very informative, responsive and happy to help. One of the best air BnB’s we’ve stayed in. Thank you both.

Casa particular in Kraków
4.98 out of 5 average rating, 116 reviewsApartment by Planty
The host went out her way to meet us late upon arrival and early for departure, what a lovely experience. Joanna even had a special treat (chocolates) for us. She recommended shopping and transportation. Excellent location within a 5-10 minute walk to the square. Lots of convenient stores and restaurants nearby that were walkable. Super clean and spacious, 1 queen bed and pull out couch. Many TV channels. Kettle, stove, oven, cutlery and everything you need including laundry. Beautiful patio that was safe and quiet. We loved this Airbnb and have stayed at many. Worth every penny and extremely reasonably priced. We would stay here next time we visited Krakow.

We stayed at Paul's apartment for 3 nights. Everything about it was perfect, The interior and the location are 5 star. Ana was very helpful and allowed us to have a late check out as our flight was in the evening, There was some noise at night (weekend) from the bars opposite but we knew about this beforehand and it wasn't a problem (earplugs provided!!) I have posted details of the apartment on my social media as I don't think you could find a better place to stay if you want to visit Krakow. Thank you Paul and Ana.
Loft in Kraków
4.94 out of 5 average rating, 81 reviewsCharming Loft Luminis in Krakow Downtown
Great location if you’re looking to explore Krakow. The flat was very easy to access, it’s secured with a passcode for both the lobby and the flat itself, so no stragglers! It is walkable distance to the Old Town, around 5-10 minutes. There are is a little shop beneath for all your necessities, but also lots of cafes / restaurants near by too. Fable Cafe (you can see it from the balcony), does a great breakfast at a good price. The flat itself was exactly like the pictures, very spacious, with all the things you’d need to hand. The kitchen has all the crockery, cleaning stuff and dishwasher too! The bed was really comfy, super king (I think). Two separate single duvets, which made it convenient for my friend and I who shared the bed. There’s closet space, and a safe. There’s a balcony, although we didn’t use it so nothing to comment. Overall, great location. Will stay here again!
Your guide to Kraków
All About Kraków
Split in two by the Vistula River, Kraków is a thriving center of Polish culture and art where modern living is juxtaposed against nearly 1,400 years of history. Opulent Renaissance and medieval buildings line the open market-style streets of Old Town — the beating heart of Kraków, which sits under the Gothic towers of St. Mary’s Basilica. Visit Wawel Royal Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and from atop the castle’s hill you’ll have a spectacular view of the city. Just beneath the castle is the Planty, a grassy, tree-lined park belt circling the Old Town that people stroll along during the day, perhaps nibbling at a sesame-covered bagel as they walk. Cafe life in Kraków extends from the early morning to late at night, and you can spend an afternoon people-watching at an outdoor table. Nighttime sends revelers down to the stone-roofed underground bars and dance clubs, and from there, to the street stalls specializing in zapiekanka, open-faced sandwiches.
Immerse yourself in the city’s Jewish heritage at the moving Żydowskie Museum or the stunning Tempel Synagogue on Miodowa in the neighborhood of Kazimierz, now home to many art galleries. In recent years, the city has become a culinary powerhouse, with cuisines ranging from Ashkenazi Jewish and French to vegan, but you can always get a taste of 20th-century Poland at one of the city’s authentic Communist-style milk bars.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Kraków
Kraków’s location offers a year-round temperate climate with warm summers and chilly winters. With Kraków being a cultural hub, festivals and events happen nearly every weekend throughout the summer, including one of Europe’s biggest jazz festivals, which features international musicians and occurs each July. Visitor numbers drop as the summer heat dies down, and there’s a chance of the odd rainy day during the fall, so pack sturdy shoes for the Old Town’s cobbled streets. The city’s location in central Europe means that winter days can be bitingly cold, so you’ll need a warm coat, and underground bars are a popular place to warm up. Foodies will want to head here in the spring to take part in one of the city’s many culinary festivals, such as the Chocolate Festival in March or the Pierogi Festival in April.
Top things to do in Kraków
Ojców National Park
Just 40 minutes north of Kraków, Ojców National Park is the best way to reconnect with the serenity of nature during your stay in Kraków. Climb to the ancient ruins of a cliff-top castle, Pieskowa Skała, or take a casual stroll through the lush woods, passing dramatic rock formations and limestone caverns.
Auschwitz-Birkenau
It would be remiss to visit this city without acknowledging and understanding its deep and troubling past during WWII. This concentration camp turned museum, located one hour outside town, is where 1.1 million people were killed, most of them Poles of Jewish descent, and a visit provides life-changing insight into the genocidal atrocities that took place during the Holocaust. To visit Auschwitz, you can take a guided tour that leaves from Kraków, or drive or take a bus from town yourself.
Trail of the Eagle’s Nests
This 101-mile trail takes in 25 medieval palaces and fortresses, many of which were built on vertiginous limestone cliffs framed by dense woodland. The section of the route nearest Kraków takes in Tęczyn Castle and its red-tiled tower roof, more than 400 meters above sea level. You can make the journey through the countryside by car, bus, or on two wheels, but bear in mind that the cycling route is longer.
