Newly Renovated Private Cottage in Walkable Area

KimRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This place is cozy and tucked away in a cute walkable neighborhood. We walked to the park and botanical gardens. At first, we were worried about finding a parking spot along the street, but we had no issues. It's a perfect location for a couple wanting to explore Denver. The place was very clean, comfortable ad had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Congress Park Carriage House

ColleenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We were visiting family in Denver and the location was near our son's home. Because we were hanging out with family, we didn't need a full kitchen and we used the property mostly for sleeping. We travel with a dog and their pet-friendly welcome was appreciated. Be aware, the space is very small and it's on a busy street. That wasn't an issue for us, but could be for some. We had a brief snafu with access because we were emailed the wrong code for the lock, but Ryan responded very quickly with the correct code. The area feels very safe and is near amenities such as restaurants and Trader Joe's.

Hidden gem in the heart of Denver's North Side! Wow - this place is amazing!! We loved the grounds and old growth trees, so lush and it's so well kept. Plenty of parking. Easy to find. Easy access to all of Denver. The house was clean and had nice touches for us to enjoy. Really a great value. Debra was a wonderful host and very good with communication. Would gladly stay again!

The Hideaway: Whole Home w/ Private Patio, Firepit

JürgenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had an amazingly good time here and totally enjoyed the entire place. The yard is beautiful and just screams: use me Our dog was very happy as he had ample of space to hangout, run around, and chase squirrels. We liked the quietness and peaceful setting, the closeness to River Point for groceries etc. Joe is a superb host, super friendly and responsive all the time when needed. We certainly would choose The Hideaway again anytime.

Modern Eclectic Penthouse Loft | Zuni Lofts

HolliRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Easy check in. Nice neighborhood. Checked in with us during our stay. Only issues: No early check in available. We had to keep moving our car and we got expensive parking tickets despite following directions. The internet would not connect which didn’t matter a whole lot for us, but if we were there for business it would be an issue. Otherwise, it was great for what we needed.

Cozy N. Park Hill private Garden level apartment.

JakeRating, 5 starstoday
Tim was a great host! This is an excellent little spot in a great location between residential and downtown Denver. It was very clean and comfortable but the absolute best feature is the INSANE shower, maybe I'm a hick but I'd never been in a shower with two heads on opposite walls, perfect coverage, water temp is great too. Anyway, enough about the shower, unit also had washer/dryer which is rare, but was super helpful. Overall would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a clean, comfortable, private stay.

Your guide to Denver

All About Denver

A city whose skyscrapers are dwarfed by the surrounding Rocky Mountains, Denver is an ideal getaway for visitors who don’t want to choose between wilderness and city. Denver’s past as an Old West boomtown is still present, especially in such historic neighborhoods as Larimer Square, alongside the free-wheeling spirit of a vibrant art scene and new tech energy. Denver makes it easy for you to take a morning hike in the mountains before an afternoon of shopping in the Cherry Creek neighborhood, or to follow a tour of the Denver Art Museum with samplers at a nearby craft brewery. There are plenty of bike trails and parks such as Sloan’s Lake to explore within the city limits, as well as outdoor shops that can supply you with skis or snowboards for an excursion to Colorado Ski Country.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Denver

One of the sunniest major cities in the United States, Denver sees only around 80 days of precipitation a year. Spring and fall are cool but comfortable, and temperatures regularly rise into the 80s and 90s Fahrenheit in July and August.

Nighttime temperatures dip below the freezing point starting in November, but during the day, the city’s winter is relatively mild, averaging in the 40s and 50s. Denver sees a lot of snow during those months, but it doesn’t necessarily stick around — you have to go higher into the mountains for snow sports. No matter what season you visit, when you’re outdoors slather on sunscreen and wear sunglasses.

Top things to do in Denver

City Park

Families with school-age children can easily spend an entire day in this 330-acre park, which offers wide expanses for picnics and running. And kids can explore the wonders of the Earth as well as outer space at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.

River North Art District

Once a swath of crumbling warehouses, RiNo has become the most colorful neighborhood in Denver — literally. You can spend hours wandering outside admiring the multistory murals, or popping into art galleries and boutiques. The art scene here has attracted cafes, food halls, restaurants, and bars, which keep the neighborhood lively well into the night.

Rocky Mountain National Park

Just 90 minutes from downtown Denver is one of the country’s most spectacular wilderness areas. More than 300 miles of trails wind through, and up, the mountains and around the shores of more than a hundred lakes. In the summer, you can stay in your car to drive along Trail Ridge Road, high above the treeline, or hike up to the alpine meadows where elk graze. (Keep in mind: The park charges a per-vehicle entrance fee.)
