Rental unit in Stadsdeel Centrum
4.78 out of 5 average rating, 9 reviewsExquisite designed apartment | 63 m2 | Long stay
Hayko’s flat is tastefully decorated and chic; it was bigger than I expected, and set in a stunning new development in east Amsterdam - at night, the lights from the flats around on the quadrangle are quite magical. You’re not facing the waterfront but it’s a few seconds away on the other side of the building; and there’s a new hotel two minutes’ walk away for breakfast and drinks. The whole area is being redeveloped and there’s an exciting feel to it - also a street a few minutes’ walk away with lots of interesting small shops and cafes. It’s a quiet place to work during the day - I stayed here four weeks, much of it on my own, and I was very happy with it.
Rental unit in Zeeburg
4.92 out of 5 average rating, 101 reviewsLovely apartment of 76m2.
Great place, was even better than the photos. It’s in a quiet peaceful neighbourhood, but close enough to downtown that it was easy to get everywhere. Host was always responsive and answered our questions very quickly.

4.91 out of 5 average rating, 109 reviewsCosy atmospheric renewed beach and city apartment
Maurits was a friendly host. He was flexible with our arrival and check-out time and we were able to leave our luggage behind until our evening flight. He lives upstairs which means that all requests were responded to quickly. The apartment was bright and cosy, just like the photos. Maurits was proactive and provided us with some wood for the fire which was great given an unseasonably cool evening in June. Lighting the fire was a delightful addition. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable. The sofa bed exceeded expectations. The bathroom was pristine. The location was second to none- many nice cafes and shops a short stroll away. Maurits made some great recommendations. I highly recommend his apartment.

Home in Castricum
4.8 out of 5 average rating, 178 reviews30min from Amsterdam &beach8 beds
We arrived from Canada for my Niece's wedding. We needed accommodations for five, hotels were not an option with our number. Frank from early on said he could easily accommodate more which he could. Frank was such a great host. He met us explained where everything was inside the Air B N B and in Castricum. For the price and location you can't do any better. We will definitely try to come again when there is no wedding to attend.

4.95 out of 5 average rating, 93 reviews“The White Tulip” Detached cottage with garden
We stayed in the house for 3 nights. Beautiful house, clean and with all accessories and amenities. I would even say there's more than we needed. Many bath towels, toiletries, dryer, in the kitchen several utensils, warm blankets to be in the backyard at night. The bed was very comfortable and giant. Free parking at the door and very calm area. For those traveling by car to Amsterdam is the perfect location. The apex is the backyard, which is beautiful. The heated ground that gave us extra comfort for the cold months. If ever I return to Amsterdam/Holland I will certainly stay at Ruud's house.

Very nice holiday week spent here, there was everything you need. Very clean and tidy. Enough towels available. Also utensils for cooking, such as, salt, pepper, filter bags..., everything was there. The only downside is the steep staircase to the bedroom. This could be better communicated in the description. Otherwise short distances to the beach, dunes, bakery, city...everything within walking distance. Lydia was very friendly.

4.67 out of 5 average rating, 3 reviewsComplete apartment on groundlevel with garden(SW).
The house is beautiful, cozy and comfortable - you can find here everything you need. Especially we loved a small terrace in the back yard. There is a lot of space in the ground floor part of the house, the bedroom, bathroom and living room are very spacious. The kitchen and the bathroom are fully equipped and you can feel at home. The house is located in a small calm town, and the surroundings are picturesque and perfect for walking. It was a great pleasure to spend our winter vacation in this house. Lex and Carla are caring and hospitable, and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts!

Condo in Stadsdeel Zuid
4.94 out of 5 average rating, 109 reviewsBeautifully large apartment in Amsterdam de Pijp.
Great apartment in a lovely neighbourhood. Booking was very easy and Max and Julius met us at the building to help us get inside. Restaurants , supermarkets and shops are plentiful in the surrounding streets. The apartment is very spacious / comfortable with plenty of room. Lovely roof terrace but we didnt use it due to weather / us being out every day . Beds supremely soft and comfortable which is a rarity on city breaks. Hosts were very responsive and helpful and there was nothing to do on departure except empty the bin and put dirty towels in a pile. Nice touches in the apartment were things like espresso pods, plenty of cleaning materials / hand soap / toilet roll / bin liners etc which most AirBnBs don’t do. There are - as others have mentioned - very steep stairs. But all of the old building in Amsterdam are like this- so unless you are in a new build or houseboat - it’s unavoidable. Tram 3 and 4 are nearby as is a huge street market. Family loved it - thanks so much

The place is as shown in the photos and as described: small but nice :-) We felt right at home. The decor is very tasteful, and it has everything you need for a few nice days by the sea. The location is top - 2 minutes to the sea and about 10 minutes walking to the center. The communication was very kind and totally straightforward. We can absolutely recommend the apartment:-)

Your guide to Amsterdam
All About Amsterdam
Whether you’re snacking on sweet stroopwafels and browsing the antiques at Noordermarkt or taking in a boundary-pushing dance performance at a local theater, Amsterdam combines old and new at every turn. You’ll find world-class museums, including the Anne Frank House and the Rijksmuseum, 17th-century canal houses, stunning industrial architecture, and vibrant cafes overlooking the city’s famous canals — where the water can turn into makeshift ice rinks in the winter. The canal district of Nine Streets showcases independent boutiques, while the city’s major squares, Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein, are brimming with nightlife. If you’re looking for some greenery, Hortus Botanicus is one of the world’s oldest botanical gardens.
For a bird’s eye view of the city, head to the panoramic observation deck of the multi-use space A’dam Lookout where you can also ride on Europe’s highest swing, Over the Edge, more than 325 feet above ground.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Amsterdam
For a kaleidoscopic show of famous Dutch tulips, head to your Amsterdam rental in the spring. This is also when you’re less likely to encounter rain, although the city’s weather is famously hard to predict — an umbrella and waterproof jacket are musts here. Summer brings everyone outside, whether they’re biking into the surrounding countryside, soaking up some sun on a canal boat, or chilling at a waterfront café. Koningsdag (King’s Day) on April 27 is a national celebration of epic proportions. Join the locals by dressing in orange — the color of the Netherlands — and soaking up the festive atmosphere as people line the canals and set up stalls outside their homes. Later in the year, June gathers international artists and musicians all month long for the Holland Festival. During winter time, Amsterdam’s oceanic climate brings cold, blustery weather.

Head here for in depth insight into the science behind phosphorescence, from small-scale minerals to all-encompassing experiences where you become part of the art. Just be sure to book ahead, as appointments are the only way to visit.
Amsterdamse Bos
This 2,500-acre forest is one of Europe’s largest city parks. Here you’ll find miles of walking and cycling paths, pretty bridges to stroll across, as well as areas for hockey, tennis, cricket, football, and swimming. Plus there are a number of spots here for refueling and relaxing, including cafes, restaurants, and a spa.
Amsterdam-Oost
This vibrant East Amsterdam district strikes a balance between historic and hip. Sandwiched between the Amstel Canal and the historic Jewish Quarter, you’ll find galleries featuring work by Dutch creatives, a stunning concert hall, and restaurants featuring cuisine from around the world. You could easily spend a day here wandering past the grand fountains in Oosterpark, going shopping at the area’s vintage and design-focused stores, browsing the 100-year-old street market known as Dappermarkt, grabbing a coffee at a canal cafe, and checking out the quirky bars and breweries.
