Come for the swim spa, stay for the house!! This was our fourth trip to Chattanooga and this was the best place we've stayed. We didn't want to leave the house, only left once. The back porch has all the things you need to relax. Felt very safe and secluded all while being close to town. This house is full of charm and beautifully decorated. Huge TV in the living room. Watching TV from the swim spa was a great treat. Comfort and entertainment all under one beautiful roof. Responsive hosts, stay here!

Tammy’s place was beautiful and our family felt at home and welcome. Our wedding party unknowingly rented 3 of her places right next to each other so that made it more perfect.
Home in North Chattanooga

This place is one of our favorites. This is our third year in a row staying with Julie & Caitlin and we will be back every year for our river race in October for as long as our team can fit. This house is close to town, but still in a lovely private neighborhood, affordable, clean and big enough to hold us! We love it here and feel like it’s our second home.

Guesthouse in Signal Mountain
4.92 out of 5 average rating, 387 reviewsViews for Days
This cabin was a "bucket-list" destination, we just didn't know it before we went. Wow! It's fully equipped, hot water runs instantly and more amenities than we needed. My husband and I went there for an anniversary get-away that exceeded our expectations on so many levels. Please note, it's a long-windy road to the top (it gets easier and less scary with some experience) and takes roughly 10 mins from the bottom up to the cabin. If you need cold foods get them on the there to save time. However, it's only about 20 mins to virtually everything including Walmart, Aldi, Starbucks and restaurants. It's a complete GEM and the host Gary, was absolutely wonderful to work with. Such a kind man. We'll be back!!
Cabin in Cleveland
4.99 out of 5 average rating, 150 reviewsTranquility
We were in town for my daughter’s wedding. Family came in and out and it was nice to have a place for adults and kids to play! The Bonfire was perfect! The air guns were a huge hit for both the adults and kids! Peaceful, quiet, beautiful nature all around - it was exactly what we needed. If the opportunity arises again, we would definitely book it again!
Home in Harrison
5 out of 5 average rating, 121 reviewsHarrison Bay Hideaway .3 Mi to Lake & 2 Mi to Golf
This was a perfect find for us! It was exactly as I had pictured it from the Airbnb pictures and narrative. The location was great for us since it was very close to the Harrison Bay State Park and all that the area offers. It felt very rural, yet it was convenient to towns that offered all that we needed and more. The house was very clean and comfortable, and the covered porch was a great place to have our morning coffee while watching deer and birds. Communication with the host(s) was great when needed, but there was very little to need. Thank you, Jenny & Philip for sharing the Harrison Bay Hideaway with us.
Treehouse in Altamont
4.98 out of 5 average rating, 265 reviewsGrandview Treehouse with Bluff Views!
We really enjoyed our quiet weekend away at the treehouse/cabin. Everything was just like the pictures showed. The cabin had everything we needed...plenty of towels and rags in the bathroom and pots, pans and utensils in the kitchen. If you are wanting a quiet peaceful place to stay with beautiful views and no light pollution, then this is the place to stay. Wayne and the lady(didn't catch her name) helping him were so very nice and helpful. Some of the reviews stated they had a hard time finding the place, but we thought it was very easy to find and Wayne did a good job with directions. Yes, it's at the back of a campground, but don't let that keep you from staying at the cabin. We saw very few people and it was super quiet. Reserve this wonderful treehouse/cabin...You won't regret it!

Your guide to Chattanooga
All About Chattanooga
The city of Chattanooga sits on the bucolic banks of the Tennessee River, backed by the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain Range and Lookout Mountain. This is a city that is as much about nature as it is about urban life, with museums, science centers, cultural programming, and a forward-looking tech-friendly streak. The terrain in and around Chattanooga is loaded with fairytale scenery, babbling brooks, and cascading waterfalls. Add a dose of Southern charm, and the city is a major draw for vacationing families, groups of friends, and even business travelers here for a work-play stay. Chattanooga’s neighborhoods are a patchwork of green parks and classic Victorian and Tudor homes; it’s no wonder that it’s nicknamed the Scenic City.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Chattanooga
Fall is the most beautiful time of year in Chattanooga, when the foliage bursts into bright shades of crimson and orange and the temperature is pleasant for outdoor activities. In September, the average highs reach 82 degrees Fahrenheit, with a low of 56. Come November, the highs hover around a balmy 62 degrees, and by December the visitors empty out as the colder weather blows in. If you’re looking for a scene, summers are popular but hot, sometimes unbearably so. July and August are the hottest months, with an average high of 88 degrees, though temperatures often soar higher than that. A high UV Index of 10 in summer means you should double up on sunscreen and bring protective sunglasses.
