This tour is an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind experience. Our guide, Lily, was absolutely fantastic—engaging, passionate, and incredibly well-versed in the golden age of rock and roll. She shared fascinating behind-the-scenes stories about legendary musicians who helped shape the music industry, from the wild escapades of bands to the rise of iconic performers at the clubs as well as what it was like to be on the Strip at that time. I felt like I was right there, except my hair could never get as big as Lily’s. (She has pictures!) We decided that we are booking tickets at the Whisky a Go Go as well as going to the Viper Room on Friday night. Lily kept us captivated with personal anecdotes, historical context, and a sense of reverence for the musicians who made the Strip what it is today. She painted a vivid picture of what it was like “back in the day,” when the Strip was buzzing with creativity, rebellion, and larger-than-life personalities.
