I'm a professional travel and fine art photographer who found myself in the alpaca world. While working at a non-profit in Peru, I met an alpaca breeder and judge. This led to my living and working at her farm in Bend during the pandemic year. We both realized that if these alpacas were therapeutic to us, they'd be therapeutic to all.

This was so fun! Our 3-yr-old boy and 11-yr-old girl both loved the experience. As a family it was a great memory and some fabulous pics were taken. The little picnic lunch was also lovely. We got to see an alpaca who was just born a few hours before we arrived and learned a lot about how alpacas are bred, etc… it was a great mix of learning and play. Everyone had a good time.

We had a great time meeting the Alpacas. We even got to see a newborn which was great. Everyone was friendly. Amanda was an amazing host. I would recommend this experience. Picnic lunch was very good also and plentiful.

This is our second time doing the picnic while in town - and it was just as special as the first! Very smooth from booking / clear instructions for meet up / pick up. Food is delicious - and of course - the highlight - the alpacas! If you are able to do this experience when you are in town - do it!

Wow! This experience was amazing! I am a local and I found it so special and unique. I would highly recommended it to any visitor or local. Lunch was delicious. Wasim was so knowledgeable and such a gracious host. And of course the alpacas were the highlight. We will definitely do this again!

My family had an amazing time! Such a unique experience. You’ll get plenty of time with the alpacas and plenty of pictures. You’ll also meet a llama with a lot of personality! The owner Amanda was so gracious and kind, and so knowledgeable about the alpacas. If you have young children, they will love it! Our boys did not want to leave! The highlight of our trip to Oregon.

It’s a picnic, but with alpacas! Yup, you heard right, an Alpaca Picnic.
