North End Beach Cottage Apt - One Block from Beach

IuliiaRating, 5 starstoday
I had a truly wonderful stay at this Airbnb! From the moment I booked, communication with the host was smooth, friendly, and fast. The space was spotless and smelled so fresh– like it had just been aired out and cleaned. It instantly felt cozy and welcoming. One detail I really appreciated was the small “forget smth?” box stocked with essentials like sunscreen, toothbrushes, and travel-sized toiletries. Such a thoughtful touch that shows how much the host cares about their guests’ comfort. There were stylish bedside lamps with built-in chargers (no more hunting for outlets!), and the yard of the place had a fancy, peaceful vibe. Parking was easy and felt completely safe– perfect if you're arriving by car. All in all, this Airbnb checked every box: clean, quiet, comfortable, and full of thoughtful extras. I’d 100% stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free stay.

B Walk to Beach and Sports Center. Dogs Welcome!

Lisa MRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Wow! What a lovely place. We were in Va Beach to celebrate our grandson’s high school graduation. So, a magical and celebratory it was going to be. Upon walking in the feeling we got fit right in to our frame of mind and plans. We booked here for the closeness, privacy and it’s dog friendly. We ended up leaving our standard poodles at home so we could have the freedom to allow us hours away to play, and celebrate. I am already looking to come back, I will definitely rebook here and bring the dogs. Words can not describe the comfy home, the private street, how close it is to everything, provided by a thoughtful and caring host. You will just have to take the trip, stay here and see for yourself. It was our 1st Airbnb stay anywhere and Mike and Sue certainly provided the best place and exceeded all expectations. Thank you, Mike & Sue!

Oceanfront Loft: Free Parking & 1 Block from Beach

LisaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was the perfect spot for a short getaway for my husband and I. It is small but it was all the space we needed for 2 people on a beach vacation! Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops. We didn’t rent a a car but we didn’t go anywhere other than the boardwalk area. The air bnb has everything you need to cook, includes coffee for the coffee maker and filters, has beach chairs, umbrella and even left a cute basket with towels and few blow up floaties. She includes a book with tons of ideas of things to do around Virginia Beach. Great host and great location!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Hidden Gem – Even Better in Person! I almost don’t want to write this review because I want to keep this place a secret! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away. The space is even more beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed than I expected. Every detail—from the decor to the cleanliness to the cozy atmosphere—was clearly done with care. The lighting, the views, and the overall vibe were all so much better than I imagined. It felt like a modern hotel but with all the comfort and warmth of home. The host was incredibly responsive and welcoming, which made everything even smoother. If you’re on the fence, trust me—this place will exceed your expectations. I’ll definitely be back!

2 Bedroom Beach Condo Block Off Boardwalk

Tara's place was perfect for our family getaway. The inside was clean and tidy, the location was perfect walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the convenience of having sand toys readily available to play with. Tara had a great binder put together of things to do and places to eat with not only top favorites and recommendations but also local favorites. Our family would stay at one of Tara's places again.

Quiet family location and close to BEACH!

GinaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I can’t begin to describe our recent visit!! We stayed from Sunday 6-1 to Thursday 6-5. My husband and I had our 10 year old daughter and 3 of her best friends along w our 3 small furry babies. The house is “nestled” on a sweet friendly street. The house lake view SURROUNDS the house along with the outside balcony. It was beautiful to see the ducks and various birds every day. The house was extremely clean! I didn’t have to do any cleaning before we unpacked. The garage had everything!!! Bikes, beach stuff along w anything u can think of. There was plenty of outside sitting areas with a private outside shower. I used it!! Water was nice! The beach was literally a 10 mins walk! We rode the bikes and walked to the beach, a couple of times a day. The boardwalk is very dog friendly so we were able to bring them. The pier from the boardwalk has people fishing. I rode 1 of the bikes around the every day! W have been using Airbnb for years and this was the best experience! Bob is the best ❤️

Our stay was fantastic! The location couldn't be better, just a stone's throw from the beach. The property itself was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. Mary was prompt and helpful in addressing the one minor issue that came up. We highly recommend this spot for a worry-free beach getaway!

We loved our stay at this location, it felt like a home away from home. Everything was exactly as described in the booking. Our fur kids loved the extra treats Chuck left and we enjoyed the basket of goodies as well. The place was very clean and the neighborhood extremely quiet. We had such a pleasant stay we booked for next year too. Would recommend anyone looking for a getaway to seek out this place. Can't wait to come back next year. Thanks to Chuck and his team for having such a nice clean and updated place to share with others. It was very home like.

Your guide to Virginia Beach

All About Virginia Beach

Surfers, swimmers, and sunbathers come to Virginia Beach to spend sunny days at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay as it meets the Atlantic Ocean. The three-mile coastal boardwalk is lined with fresh-pressed juice shacks, pastry shops, and fashion boutiques, and there’s a separate lane for skaters and rollerbladers. Sweet saltwater taffy and maple nut fudge are traditional treats to savor along the shore, and local Lynnhaven oysters are an ever-popular mainstay on local menus.

For a commanding view of the bay, climb the 191 steps up Old Cape Henry Lighthouse — part of the journey involves climbing a tall ship’s ladder. Mount Trashmore provides an offbeat attraction that combines a skatepark, playground, and a grassy mound of reused landfill. If it’s been a while since your last surfing trip, Croatan Beach is the place to get some inspiration when it hosts the East Coast Surfing Championships.

Spring is a lovely time to visit, especially for those who enjoy the great outdoors and a mild climate. The fall is a not-so-well-kept secret in Virginia Beach, as pleasantly warm temperatures can extend well into September, allowing visitors to stretch out their stays with a little more space to breathe. This is also when the Neptune Festival showcases intricate sand sculptures along the shore. The holiday season is a big deal here, with plenty of festivities such as Holiday Lights at the Beach, the Surf-n-Santa 5 Miler, and the Christmas Market. The winter months also bring thousands of migrating birds to the bay, and this is the place to be for whale-watchers.

Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge

Grab your paddle and set out for a leisurely afternoon on the water. Explore Chesapeake Bay, venture into Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge, or float further afield through the scenic Great Dismal Swamp.
