Places to stay in Sofia

I recently stayed at these apartments and had a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect—the apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was convenient, and the check-in process was smooth. The host was responsive and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a great place!

The apartment is in a perfect location for exploring the city by foot. Everything is as described and communicating with the host was very easy. We enjoyed our stay!

Flat was spacious and comfy. 6th floor, with lift. Everything worked but very small boiler for showers so bear this in mind if there’s a few of you! Especially loved the area, great cafes and coffee places. Scammed by taxi driver from bus station to the flat. Advise you to negotiate the price or insist on them using the meter! Visited some excellent restaurants. Our favourite was pastorant, a gorgeous little Italian one close by. Recommend the flat!!

Bobi’s place was the perfect spot for a stay in Sofia. The apartment has all the facilities you want and the bonus is the fantastic sauna in the basement which we used every day ! A short walk to the metro or a 10 min walk to the centre near Serdika station and the start of Vitosha blvd it makes everything very convenient. Shops and restaurants are all walkable too. Bobi was very helpful, had the sofa bed made up for us before we arrived and have clear instructions on how to access the property. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here when in Sofia.

Alexander’s place is situated in a vibrant and interesting community—by our last day we were weaving our way to and back home from our favorite spots like a couple of pros (including their bakery, Altruist)! Alexander and Miryana are A+, so friendly, responsive and charming. We will remember them and their city always!

Had a wonderful stay at Ivan's place. it was clean and peaceful, the bed was very comfortable. It was very close to the metro for getting to/from the airport easily. Im glad he included a video of how to get in because the place is unassuming from the outside, but the steps were easy enough to follow. Area outside isnt much to look at but it felt quite safe and was close to many great places to eat and go for coffee, even walked to the mall once, didn't need a car or public transportation for anything I wanted to do in the city. I'd definitely stay here again. One thing to note is it is up 4 flights of stairs, it wasn't a problem for me but could be an issue for some.

Absolutely loved my stay at this apartment in Sofia! The location is incredibly central, yet the apartment is high up, so it's peaceful and offers complete privacy. The panoramic windows with mountain views are stunning – a true highlight. The interior is beautifully designed with fresh renovations and stylish furniture. The kitchen and bathroom are fantastic, especially the huge mirror and the amazing bathtub – felt like a spa. The apartment has everything you could possibly need: a coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine with dryer – all brand new and super convenient. Everything is clean, modern, and thoughtfully arranged. The hosts are extremely friendly and responsive, always replying within minutes. Check-in was smooth and clearly explained, with every detail taken care of. I couldn’t have asked for a better place. This apartment exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend it and would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed at Galia’s apartment for nine days while visiting family in Sofia, and it completely blew us away. The space is even better than the photos, which were already beautiful. It’s modern, super spacious, filled with natural light, and the views of the city are absolutely stunning. Every window looked like a postcard. Galia was such a thoughtful host. She met us in person when we arrived and brought delicious local food, which was exactly what we needed after 15 hours of travel. She also left us an amazing bottle of Bulgarian wine and snacks, which made us feel immediately welcomed and cared for. The apartment felt like a luxury hotel. Everything was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and there were plenty of clean towels, water in the fridge, and all the essentials you’d need if you were at home—but better. If you’re planning a trip to Sofia, this is the place to stay. We’re already talking about booking it again next time we’re in town.

This apartment is immaculate. Pristinely clean. Brand new decor and furnishings. Great view of the city park. Super quiet and private. Very easy ride to the airport. Also perfectly walkable to downtown restaurants. This is my new go-to place while in Sofia.

We had a fantastic experience staying at Irena’s place. The place was clean, cozy and well-prepared! The location was perfect, in the centre and close to the blv. Vitosha. The host was incredibly responsive and kind, and helped a lot with all requests. I would highly recommend the apartment. The only thing, which I did not like much was that one of the bedrooms had no windows and a stable low noise was coming from the place next to it. And prepare to take short showers if you are a bigger group as the boiler is small :)
