Private Oasis Near the Water & Wine Country
This place was everything it promised. So relaxing and close to town. We didn't want to leave. Lori was an excellent and responsive host. Can't wait to come again when we visit our family in Benecia!

Easy elegance in this wine country home
A picturesque getaway! The property was so beautiful, the house was charming and laid out perfectly for multiple guests. We enjoyed every minute of our time in Sonoma. Highly recommend!

Quiet Wine County Retreat with Bocce and Hot tub!
We loved every minute at Virginia’s place…it was one of our favorite Airbnbs ever! From the bottle of wine that greeted us upon arrival, to the lovely free pastries at the bakery to the hot tub under the stars and perfectly designed house…we didn’t want to leave!

Casa Vina at Silverado Resort and Spa | Fireplace
We had a fantastic stay! Craig was incredibly responsive and was able to rent to us same day as we didn't want to leave Silverado Resort and beautiful Napa! The condo decor was stylish and modern with an upscale vide that fit perfectly with Silverado Resort. The unit is stand alone with no one upstairs which was a plus. Silverado Resort is a one-of-a kind complete destination resort with golf, pools, tennis, spa and restaurants. Added bonus we were less than 10 minutes to downtown Napa. Can't wait to come back!

Eagle's Nest Treehouse Farm Stay
This is a piece of Heaven on Earth. Glamping at its finest ❤️ Bed was toasty and warm, propane heater was easy to light. Hot shower, soft towels. It was so amazing to wake up in the trees. I didn’t have a plan while staying here and ended up checking out Duncans Mills, which is a cute historic logging town. Cute shops and great coffee. Bought some snacks at the general store and had a campfire dinner and it was awesome. Make sure so bring your own firewood. Also went for about a two hour trek on the grounds the morning before I left and it was so beautiful and I highly recommend. So grateful for this place and the wonderful animals I saw. I can’t wait to come back.

Cozy Creekside Retreat in Sonoma Wine Country
Amazing stay! Very peaceful, beautifully surrounded by nature, nice and quiet. Very spacious and super clean, great for travelers with dogs. Only advice: bring a flashlight as it gets very dark at night and it will help if you have to take the pups out around the vicinity and/or if you arrive late at night.

The Perch
A charming stay under a redwood tree nestled in a garden oasis, with beautiful patio, comfy bed, and an outdoor kitchen & bath that was heaven on earth. A truly unique experience to bathe under the stars and enjoy morning coffee by the fire pit. A wonderful redwood trail not far from the property (Grove of Old Trees) was a perfect compliment to our stay at The Perch!

Casa Relaxo: Mt top getaway with beautiful views
Clean cabin in the middle of Sonoma hills. Our dog, Peter, loved being able to run around freely. Beautiful views at all times of the day. This is a great place to stay if you want to get outside the city and relax in nature. Thanks for having us !

A Wine Travelers Dream in the Heart of Napa Valley
J+K's place was the perfect launch pad for all of our wine tasting endeavors! The place had everything we needed (as advertised) and the hosts were super friendly, checking in throughout to see how we were doing. We spent most of our time out doing tastings / trying restaurants, which there is plenty of nearby. Recommend and would come back again!

Amazing Downtown Napa Location Hosted Happy Hour!
This was an eccentric and super cute Airbnb! Between a full stocked kitchen, the easy access, the comfortable beds and pillows, and the huge TV. It made our stay extremely comfortable. The owner was very responsive and accommodating every step of the way.

Sonoma Berry Blossom Farm
Jeanne’s place was incredibly beautiful and she was the most responsive host we’ve ever had. She helped coordinate special spots for our weekend trip and went above and beyond making it special. Her place felt so authentic to Sonoma and was the perfect place to stay for your trip!

Come and Visit the Valley Sleeps 4 to 8 Guests
This was a perfect location for myself and 2 friends to stay while attending a culinary school boot camp at the CIA - centrally located, easy to find and perfectly appointed! We had a great stay - the house was exceptional and even had nice pillows! I would definitely stay here again for my next class!! Gigi was a great host!!

The Vintage Cottage (VR-17-0045)
The house was cute and in a great location, just a few minutes away from the main streets and restaurants in town, as well as a park a few blocks away. Robert reached out early on and was responsive to messages.

Cozy Sonoma Studio Nearby Wineries and Restaurants
We absolutely loved staying here - It was a perfect and private location for a weekend getaway to Sonoma. The living room was cozy, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was plenty big for 2 people. Pretty close to many wineries and restaurants. I would stay here again!

Modern Container Home with Vineyard Views [NEW]
This is a stunning modern home with beautiful views and total privacy. So much to do an explore in the area but my wife and I ended up maybe enjoying our time at the air bnb the most. Everything you could need and really a perfect place for a couple to spend some time relaxing. Great communicative hosts as well!

Your guide to Napa
Welcome to Napa
If you’re in Napa, chances are you’re here for one thing: wine. The region is synonymous with viticulture worldwide, and every year millions of visitors flock to the Napa Valley, where lush rows of grapevines line the sun-dappled hills. Napa, studded with Victorian mansions and bordered by the picturesque Napa River, is the county’s largest city. Home to more than a hundred wineries, this town is a cushy base from which to explore the rest of the valley. Boutiques and restaurants cluster around buzzy First Street in Napa’s chic downtown, where visitors enjoy rooftop drinks with mountain views. You’ll find more than twenty tasting rooms here, but also first-class dining. Napa has emerged as a foodie mecca, with award-winning restaurants that leverage the region’s agricultural largesse with farm-to-table menus. If you need to walk off some of that food and drink, take a stroll on the town’s pretty river walk, which twinkles with lights in the evening.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Napa
Summer and early fall are gorgeous, with long, warm days perfectly suited for sitting in a warm vineyard with a glass of wine. Every July, Festival Napa Valley brings world-class musicians to town for free performances at partner wineries. Summertime also marks the return of the music, food, and wine festival Huichica, which brings a variety of indie rock bands to the grassy amphitheater of a nearby winery in Sonoma. Warm temperatures also mean popular spots getting booked quickly. August through October is the crush season in Napa, when wine crops are harvested, and the valley hums with activity. Winter and spring are cooler and quieter, making it a perfect time for the crowd-averse to visit. Winter also brings the Napa Valley Film Festival in November, which showcases independent cinema with screenings at the Art Deco Uptown Theatre.
Top things to do in Napa
Go For an Art Crawl
You can soak up culture of more than just the vinti-variety here. Di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art, located on 217 scenic acres, features an impressive collection of work by California artists as well as a meandering sculpture garden.
Oxbow Public Market
You can get a taste of pretty much everything Napa county has to offer at this 40,000-square-foot complex of specialty shops and restaurants. Organic ice cream, insanely fresh oysters, juicy burgers, and decadent baked goods are just the beginning here, where the emphasis is on seasonal, fresh fare. Come hungry.
Lake Berryessa
Summers in Napa are often hot and dry, so there’s no better way to refresh yourself than by jumping in nearby Lake Berryessa. With water temperatures that can exceed 80 degrees Fahrenheit during sunny months, this is no ice bath, but locals and visitors alike flock to this 26-mile-wide, three-mile-long federal reservoir to wade, float, fish, and swim — competitively or otherwise. (Lake Berryessa hosts one of the longest-running open-water swims in the country.) The lake is only 45 minutes from Napa and hosts two free day use public areas, Oak Shores and Smittle Creek, which have picnic tables, BBQ grills, and hiking trails.
