Cairns vacation rentals

We absolutely loved this house - gorgeous art, rugs, collectables and books to start. Then the surroundings. This was a perfect stay for us, 3 women needing a getaway and this house absolutely delivered.

All that you could want in a holiday house. Loved the pool, peaceful location and quick walk to the shops. The hosts were very responsive and provided a lovely list of recommendations for food and activities.

The house is in a great location. We found it was a very convenient location for anyone wanting to have a good look around the area. The house is amazing everything you could possibly want whilst on holidays. It is neat, tidy and very spacious with amazing ventilation to cool the house at night. As soon as you walk in the door you feel right at home. The pool area is fantastic with plenty of seating area undercover with fans and a BBQ area. Furthermore the pool is maintained and kept clean. Neal kept great communication and was only too happy to help in anyway possible. We would like to thank Neal for letting us stay in his home. It was very accessible for my 90 year old Mum to move about in the house with ease and comfort. Highly recommended wouldn't hesitate to stay any time. Thank you once again

This area is very quiet and tranquil and was in a gorgeous area right on the water. Forewarning though, although its 'beach front', you are not recommended to swim out front and instead should walk to a designated netted beach. It's also a little ways from a decent grocery store, so stock up before you come if you don't have a car. The interior living space was large enough for our 7 people to comfortably hang in, and the pool was perfect temperature. The house quickly covers the sun though for the afternoon, so make sure to get in your pool time in the morning! We also had some issues with an aircon unit but Sylvie was quick to respond and was kind enough to offer a partial reimbursement. All in all, a fabulous and fruitful stay!

Beautiful, clean house with everything you need. Bathrooms are lovely. Pool is perfect for cooling off. Neighbourhood is pristine and quiet. About a 12 minute walk into town. Make sure you ask for the local map as Google Maps doesn't recognise the boardwalk through the mangrove as a quicker way into town.

Kevin was very friendly and responsive. The check in process was him showing us around the place! It’s right next to cairns central and only a 20 minute walk from the water. It’s spacious, gets a lot of natural light and clean. Highly recommend

One of the most beautiful places... the house has everything you can think of and felt just like home.... it is located right into nature's lap. and we had wallabies and amazing birds visiting our backyard . . I would like to give a ten stars instead of five. Also a shoutout to our host who was very responsive .

We had a lovely stay at Ellie’s House. It was clean with many amenities that enhanced our holiday. We were able to walk to local spots and had easy access to Cairns and airport. Definitely recommend as a perfect spot to relax after a busy day of exploring.

I have stayed Jay & Toyah’s place 4 times now and always found the ladies very friendly and helpful and couldn’t enough for me. They have a Beautiful guest suite located between the rainforest & the Great Barrier Reef. It is only about 10 minutes walk away is the nice beach front of Palm Cove that has restaurants and other small businesses. There is a nice beach front to walk down to the pier at the north end and then you can walk out on it. The guest suite is very comfortable, nice queen bed big tv and the only downside is the remote on/off button doesn’t work and you have to turn it on manually which is not hard. They are easily contactable by the message service in AirBnB and they respond in a timely manner. Because they are great hosts I have already booked again for February. So you see they do their very best in accommodating your needs if you have any without and hassle. So if you are looking for a quiet place to relax when you are in cairns please give them a go.

Antje's place was great. Across the road from the shopping plaza which was convenient as we had lots of shopping to do! The thing that stood out for us was how well stocked the place was with cooking facilities and tons of spare coffee pods and a good coffee machine - that's something that ALL BNBs could take a lesson from. The feeling of homeliness cannot be obtained unless the kitchen has all the cooking equipment you need and lots of high quality coffee :)

Great studio in Edge Hill. Spacious and spotlessly clean. Five minute walk to fabulous local cafes and restaurants. Lovely swimming pool was a treat at this hot and humid time of the year. Sam was warm and welcoming but also respectful of my privacy. I would happily stay at Sam’s studio again.

We had a great time staying at Shira's apartment. She was very friendly and helpful, even allowing us to check in early. We would recommend staying here.

Fantastic stay at Nicolette's AirBnb. Accomodation matched description perfectly. Nice and quiet at night and very easy to find. 10min drive to Palm Cove and 20-25min drive to central Cairns. Unit has everything you should need and Nicolette extremely accommodating. Absolutely recommend

Fantastic house and location. Pool was indeed gorgeous, BBQ grill, possibilities to dine outside. Even property is a bit outside the city, it’s an easy drive. Only small disappointment for us was beach front what actually can’t be used due to crocs.

Lisa was a fantastic host and the apartment is amazing! She was flexible, quick to communicate and really friendly! Thank you again, Lisa!
