They accommodated our family of six.♪ It was a very beautiful and stylish room, and I had a comfortable stay. I also asked for a🙆‍♀️ BBQ, but there were a lot of goods, so I was able to start right away!It was full of amenities, there were games🎮, and it was very comfortable. The😊 host was very accommodating. Thank you very much. I would like to stay there again in the🥹✨ summer. Thank you☺ again next time.✨🙏🏻

[Coi House] Spacious single-family house, 7 minutes walk from Kiyomizu Gojo Station

PeteRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed at Icy's house in Kyoto. Icy was very helpful and responsive. The house was as described and was very clean. The area it is located in is very peaceful, which we really liked. It has easy access to two stations on the Keihan line (with an easy change to then reach Kyoto station). There are little shops and restaurants nearby and the various areas of Kyoto are short walk or train ride away. We would definitely consider staying here again, as we would like to return to Kyoto to see more of it.

A scenic view of a lush garden leads to a tranquil beach. Bright yellow flowers add a pop of color near a wooden fence, while umbrellas provide shade along the shoreline. The gentle waves of the lake can be seen in the distance, framed by greenery.

Lakeside Kyoto Getaway Hira-Ya

StephanieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I think that Chie's guest house is the most beautiful and peaceful airbnb I've stayed at. Separate from their main house, you get the whole guest house to yourself which allows for privacy but is also right next to their house in case anything happens. both her husband and daughter were also very kind and recommended some great restaurants and places to go nearby. while it is a little out of the way from kyoto, I would recommend it if you want a calm lakeside getaway, and I would definitely recommend it during late spring and summer so that you can take advantage of the water activities. I will definitely stay here again the next time I come to Shiga.
The entrance of the traditional house is framed by a gravel path and neatly arranged plants. A large sliding door opens onto a welcoming space, while windows on either side allow natural light to fill the interior. The peaked roof complements the serene hillside backdrop.

6 minutes to the National Treasure Inuyama Castle, with excellent access to the airport, Nagoya, Gifu, and Takayama, making it a great starting point for any adventure!

It is a very nice house. It is a bit noisy due to the nearly road and train tracks during the day, but it wasn’t too bad during the night. Definitely rent a car if you want to stay here, or get taxis to go into town, since the station is a good walk away. Once you get a car, accessing the mountains is a breeze and traffic is quite low. The host was amazing. She picked us up from the train station on arrival and dropped us off at the train station when we left. She also brought over some more bedding during our stay. I highly recommend this place, just be aware that if you are a light sleeper, you might not enjoy staying here. Overall it was in the right location to get a taxi into Inuyama to interact with the locals, and then drive around in the mountains.

Sakura River Inn 3 (close to Shijo Kawaramachi)

Our stay at Andrea & Mayumi's place was lovely. It's in a great location that's completely walkable to all the great attractions of Kyoto. Not to mention, we were there peak cherry blossom season, and sitting out on the balcony watching the stream flow and the flowers bloom was just beautiful. They provided everything that you could need for your stay, and the beds were the most comfortable ones that we stayed in during our 14-day trip to Japan! Thank you so much Andrea & Mayumi for all your recommendations and for your hospitality!
