house is clean and very spacious..we are all 10 and accomodates us all.rooms are air conditioned with 2 queen beds..Host is very nice and he makes sure that we are well attended.Recommended this to a big group!

We had the best time at Carol's place! Ms. Chat was very responsive with our queries and was very accommodating. Thank you to Ms. Gemma and Tatay Gorio for all the help, too! We had some minor issues with the lighting, some bulbs were not working anymore and need replacement. Other than that, everything went well. We loved that the toilets were spotless and the rooms were airconditioned. The soft sofa beds in the living room were so comfortable to sit and sleep on. Just like what I wrote in their guestbook, I wish we could have stayed longer. It was truly a fun escape from the city. Trust that we will rebook this place when we come back to Ilocos Sur!

We had the pleasure of being the very first guests to book this Airbnb, and we’re so glad we did! The caretakers, who are the host’s parents, were incredibly accommodating and genuinely hospitable. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The place is also just a quick drive away from the rotonda where lots of restaurants are located. We highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a comfortable place when visiting Ilocos Norte. Will probably rebook if we travel back in Norte. Thank you again for such a lovely stay!

My parents and aunt enjoyed their stay. Will book again for our next Ilocos travel. The highlight of the stay is the ancestral feature of the property.

The room was spacious, private, elegant and very clean, with a great view of mountains and the Abra river. Nestled away from the busy streets of Bangued, Escala Homestay is a beautiful Mediterranean-inspired 3 storey home with a rooftop lounge area, gardens and backyard with fruit trees. Staying here gave us a sense of just how vast and expansive Abra is. Amarte is a fantastic host. We had enjoyable trips and delicious meals with him and he helped us get in touch with the right people for our research. We hope more people will learn about Escala Homestay because it is truly an excellent place to stay at in Abra.
