We enjoyed our stay very much. The weather was cool and often rainy but the scenery and area are so beautiful that it was ok. So many places to hike and Harmony Beach is so lovely and dog friendly. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our week staying at this cottage. The sunroom overlooking Lake Superior is where we spent most of our time - we couldn't look away from the gorgeous view. Harmony Beach is only a 5 min walk away and it was never crowded and has a beautiful sandy beach and crystal clear shallow water. The kitchen is fully stocked and there are lots of books and games/puzzles available. The cottage has not really been updated but it has a charm to it that we appreciated. Jim was very quick to respond to any questions and was a pleasure to communicate with.

We enjoyed a wonderful holiday, and James was an excellent host. The house is in a beautiful area close to beaches and shorelines to explore. There is plenty of space, and the kitchen is well equipped. As mentioned by other guests, the screened in porch facing Lake Superior is a special place to relax, and we spent many mornings and evenings enjoying the view. Laundry facilities might be helpful for a longer stay. Highly recommended!

A beautiful lakefront setting on Superior (the best!) with a lovely sunroom for chilling out and watching amazing sunsets through picture windows. The cottage and surroundings made for a week of quality time with our family of six adults, a 3-year-old and a baby, as well as relatives in town. We enjoyed sandy Harmony Beach a few minutes’ walk down the road. We our own fold-up chairs as advised by Jim. Toys, games and a stand alone bath tub at the cottage added to our enjoyment.
Jim was a very responsive, helpful and generous host from the time we booked our holiday months in advance until checkout. Thank you so much!
