2 days agoWe had problems from the very start of this place. The rug is incredibly stained and dirty. The place was not very clean, there was excessive dust and I mopped the floor and the mop pads were disgusting. We also had an issue with the garbage disposal not working, which was repaired but still.
One amenity that I don’t believe is properly represented is parking. There are parking spaces but they are not dedicated or it is not followed and it’s near impossible to get out when the lot is full.
Our final straw was a leaking ceiling in the bathroom. We cancelled our stay 5 days in, David refused to refund any of the days we were there. David also took so long to respond to Airbnb support that we had to pay for an extra day we didn’t want. In addition he told Airbnb support we on a Sunday and we had to show proof we left the Thursday before.
For all of these reasons I would strongly advise against staying at this house or with this host.

2 weeks agoI was initially hesitant to book this place due to the lack of reviews—I usually avoid that risk as I do not want to risk wasting my hardly earned vacation. But the unbeatable location and oceanfront view convinced me, and I’m so glad I went for it!
I wanted my family from a landlocked state to have an unforgettable beach experience, and this house delivered it. Both the hosts, David and Mario, were responsive and helpful throughout, and check-in was smooth. The home looked just like the photos and was clean, spacious, and had very comfortable beds. I was concerned about the lack of AC, but the cool coastal breeze made it a non-issue. However, there were no window screens, so we did get some bug bites. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. My family already asked me to book it again for the next summer! Thank you, David and Mario, for sharing your beautiful beach house, we can’t wait to return!

3 weeks agoWe stayed for three nights at this Airbnb in Culver City and had a pleasant experience. The location was very convenient — it was easy to reach museums and Santa Monica by car. The neighborhood was fairly quiet and felt safe.
Although there was no air conditioning, we didn’t feel too hot with the windows open, even during the summer. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found it to be a comfortable base for exploring Los Angeles.
