70 years ago this was Yosemite's “Idlewild Theatre”. Today it is your spacious 2bdrm/2bath home INSIDE the park. Sleeps 8, including the option to rent as a spacious 1bdrm [w/California King] / 1bath from October to April, minus peak holiday periods, or any time of year it is available and within 10 days of a requested reservation. Wi-fi included.
Recently Installed floors & carpet. Beautiful deck & fenced yard w/gas & charcoal grills & fire pit. Kitchen equipped with everything you expect.

Bedroom #2 also has attached private bathroom.
3-night minimum June thru August & peak holiday periods.

With 150 years of family experiences in Yosemite, I still find something new worth noticing every day & more than anything I love to share our history and our home with others. Families have made Wawona & Camp Chilnualna a tradition that spans generations. The best neighborhood in town because it's your neighborhood. I am here for you everyday of the year, because I never go anywhere & 6 hours of sleep per night is merely a suggestion. Oh, airbnb wants me to give you my motto - they think I'd have a motto? Ok I have a motto. You see, I've always strived to be an optimist, and was for a long time. It's tremendously hard work because my arch enemy, "the pessimist" is much greater in numbers, and has a terrible weapon we optimists can never fire - it's called "I'm just being realistic" and it's cheating to use it. Anyway I upgraded my motto from "The glass is half-full" to simply "Half-Glass Full". I need so much less than a full glass to feel grateful, and with gratitude we get to live half-glass full everyday. Pessimists can't touch it.
